Delicious food.
It's a shame that after our evening visit, I asked the innkeeper for directions back to the tourist routes.
The innkeeper gave me rather incorrect directions, creating the perfect situation for very unpleasant encounters with local wildlife.
Given the risk of kidnapping and an unexpected escape, I can't rate this place higher than 3 stars.

Beautiful, in the authentic chaos of the Ballarò market, the gluten-free options are remarkable, even for on-the-go.
The owners and waiters? Professional and attentive.
A must-see if you're passing through Palermo!

It was a wonderful experience. We had lunch on our second day here in Palermo. The spleen sandwich was excellent, and the sea urchin spaghetti was delicious and well-seasoned. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We appreciated everything. Thank you, and a hug from Cagliari 🩷

Simple, typical, and very good dishes.
Atmosphere true to the neighborhood.
Unpleasant service: we interrupted the waitress when ordering, she forgot to bring drinks (but charged them on the bill), and repeatedly kicked our chair as she walked by.

This place was great, given all the tourist traps around in the market. The owner is very nice, the food was fresh - we had gambero rosso crudo, grilled octopus, mussel pasta which were all really good at ok price.
The shrimp & pistacchio pasta was not so good and the shrimps could barely be seen & were tiny
