This is a historic pastry shop, dating back to the late 19th century but established in the early 20th century, famous for its ricotta cannoli and arancini. Easy to find, it's right in front of the south entrance to Bellini Park. It closes at 9:00 PM. You can get a dinner for €3.50 for an arancino and €3.00 for a cannoli. Spectacular

I can recommend a good arancini here. The granita is also good, but when I ordered it with whipped cream, there was only half a cup of granita.

The brioche with tuppo was a bit heavy. The granita was good. The arancini, compared to other places, were nothing special. The waiters were friendly, but the air conditioning was poor.

A wonderful place. I've never had such good arancini al ragu anywhere in Sicily. It tastes amazing here! Their desserts are also delicious. I definitely recommend it!

I thought it was just one of the tourist traps but the arancini and cafe fredo were beyond my expectations! Freshly made and super creamy arancini, think it’s the best of all the places I’ve tried in Catania. Cafe fredo was also really really good. Staff were all a bit rude and had that fed up attitude though😅 If you are not familiar with the order-in-cashier system you might get confused for the first time.

The gelato is of the highest quality, with authentic flavors and raw ingredients that you can taste in every spoonful. But what makes this place special, beyond the product, is the welcome: the owner and all the staff are exceptionally kind and professional. It's rare to find a business that maintains such high standards for so long. An absolute guarantee!

DIY Sushi

02/06/2026: We made a reservation over WhatsApp in English with no issues. Upon our arrival, we had the option to sit inside or outside. We chose to remain outside in a decked area. The waiter spoke basic English but we managed to communicate well. The owner of the restaurant, Ester, was a delight. She also attended to our table, made suggestions of dishes and the mixed carpaccio dish was divine. Ester was so nice and she ended up giving us plenty of tour advice, where to visit, what to eat, and of general activities. We ended up staying for 2 and a half hours just sharing a nice evening with Ester at her beautiful restaurant. We will definitely return for a good sushi!
03/05/2026: The offer is very varied and unique compared to other sushi restaurants, the atmosphere is elegant and nice and the staff are very kind and helpful.
