19/09/2025: Before ordering, ask for prices! I tried the pizza by the slice with sardines. Not a trace of sardines. Just tomato and a few basil leaves. I don't recommend it as an option. The oven itself definitely has better to offer.

30/06/2025: Teníamos grandes expectativas para Prestipino, pero terminó siendo la experiencia más decepcionante de toda nuestra estancia en Catania. Dondequiera que fuimos, la gente era increíblemente amable y acogedor, pero aquí, era todo lo contrario. Todos los camareros parecían molestos y eran antipáticos. Es una pena, porque el lugar podría tener potencial, pero la actitud del personal arruinó completamente la experiencia. Definitivamente no recomendaría.

31/05/2026: After paying €1300 for a private room that wasn't private, leaving that aside, we entered at 11:30 PM. At 12:49 AM they closed for the evening and kicked us out. For no reason at all. Stay away from this place, and spend your money somewhere else.

12/05/2026: I visited Caffè del Duomo e Ristorante in Catania with my family, and we had a great time. The pizza was excellent: well-cooked, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Special thanks to the waiters Ignazio and Giuseppe, always kind and helpful. Ignazio was especially attentive, even bringing our dog a glass of water. Fair prices, especially considering the restaurant's central location. I booked through The Fork with a 30% discount and really appreciated the restaurant's transparency: the original list prices and the discounted prices were clearly indicated separately on the bill, an important detail that demonstrates great fairness and professionalism towards customers. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well without spending a lot and enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting of Piazza Duomo.

I was unable to eat any food due to the rudeness of the wait staff, who only promised to serve me on a first-come, first-served basis after I expressed my displeasure at being passed over in the ordering line. After about an hour of waiting, they served everyone except us. Upon seeing what you described, we left the room. Anyone who works with people needs to understand the meaning of the words politeness and respect.

02/12/2025: This is my first time trying this pizzeria. I had a sweet pizza with pistachios and Nutella, and the dough was not only super hard but also dirty from previous pizzas in the oven. I paid €11 and I can say I'm not satisfied.
