16/10/2025: Went on a Tuesday night and found it closed!! Google said it was open, but after paying for parking, walked to the restaurant and it was closed!!! There wasn't even a notice on the door that it was closed for the week!!!

22/07/2025: Nel corso della nostra permanenza a Pantelleria abbiamo cenato e pranzato diverse volte alla trattoria da Pina. Si mangia bene e ogni giorno si può trovare qualcosa di diverso con le proposte del fuori menu. Semplice ma attento e gentile il servizio. Il locale è pulito.

20/07/2025: Il mio compagno è celiaco e qualche giorno prima della cena si era recato al ristorante per chiedere se fossero attrezzati per pasti senza glutine ottenendo una risposta affermativa . La sera della cena ci siamo ulteriormente accertati che i pasti prenotati ( pasta con il pesto pantesco ed una tartare di tonno ) fossero incontaminati dal glutine con risposta affermativa . Purtroppo dopo qualche ora dalla cena si sono presentati prepotentemente i sintomi da contaminazione che hanno interferito negativamente sui giorni successivi alla vacanza . Durante il contatto telefonico si scusano ipotizzando una contaminazione aerea da glutine ma spero che nel futuro , se ci si definisce un ristorante adatto anche ai celiaci , ci sia un’attenzione precisa alle procedure perché si rischia con la salute in un contesto vacanziero meraviglioso

08/01/2026: Coffee and an excellent cannoli at the counter for €3.50...a fair price, and an excellent cannoli by Messina standards, which aren't exactly high for superlative cannoli! The pastry shop isn't the most beautiful, but it offers friendly service and quality at more than fair prices, unlike other cheap places in the area with exorbitant prices for much lower quality! Congratulations...

02/01/2026: We've been going to Blu Tunnel for a while now, and it's always a guaranteed success. The food is always excellent: from classic sandwiches and gigantic burgers to pizzas, from starters to main courses, and even salads, everything is prepared with care and flavor. The staff is friendly, always helpful, and welcoming, each one better than the next. The environment is tidy and very clean, which we greatly appreciate. It's a place we always love to return to and we recommend without hesitation.

29/11/2025: I don't understand why this place has a low average (3.7). Today, I ate this delicious pizza with three of my friends. The pizza dough and ingredients are of good quality. The waiters were also really kind, the place was well-kept, and above all, the clean kitchen is a real plus! I'm someone who always checks the kitchen and the counter before sitting down, and I can say it's spotlessly clean! It's not the first time I've eaten at Blu Tunnel, but I've always had a great experience, never had any problems! I'll be happy to visit again. I can also choose between a sandwich, pizza, or meat. It's truly excellent!

16/02/2026: The restaurant is ideally located right on the beach, but unfortunately, that's where the experience ends. No smiles, no warm welcome; you really feel like you're bothering them. The service is cold and rushed; they practically throw the plates at you. The prices are completely exorbitant considering the quality and atmosphere. Honestly, it's not even worth half the price they charge. It's very disappointing, especially in such a potentially lovely setting. I don't recommend it.

14/02/2026: I honestly don’t understand why this restaurant has such a low rating. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was absolutely fine. The pizza was well baked, had a good amount of toppings, and the dough was exactly as flavorful as you’d expect from a bottarga-seasoned pasta. All in all, we can definitely recommend this place!

18/01/2026: Terrible experience, poor service, and rude staff, despite the food being decent. During our dinner, we had an argument with the restaurant owners over their service, which apparently favors some people over others, regardless of the time of arrival. After I pointed this out, the owner responded rudely and inappropriately to a customer. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant, and I'll describe the incident in detail below: Once we arrived and ordered a tub of chips with melted cheese and a sandwich, the lady at the cashier told us the wait would be about half an hour. So, we grabbed our Cokes and waited outside. After about twenty minutes, I entered the restaurant and calmly asked the lady how long it would take. After consulting with her husband, she showed me the receipt and the time, as if to say, "It hasn't been half an hour yet." After a while, we returned and sat down, seeing that the people who came after us had already received their food. One of them, after asking for a tub of chips near the counter, was receiving several piadinas at another table. At that point, upon seeing their service, an altercation began with the owners, who responded rudely and unkindly, even telling us not to visit their restaurant again. I strongly advise against going there. There are other places within walking distance with excellent food and impeccable service that deserve much better than this restaurant and its staff/owners. I'm replying to you via my previous review because I have no way to reply to your message. Your response perfectly reflects the attitude I adopted that evening, even though I was objective and said that the food was good, but I wasn't happy with the service. The age difference shouldn't be a reason to behave aggressively with customers, nor should it be a reason to use terms like "you're my friend." I'm not your son, and we don't even know each other, so it shouldn't be allowed to happen. Your behavior wasn't consistent with the manner in which I'm accustomed to resolving a matter politely and respectfully; the person who used rude tones was you, not me. If you're receiving several negative reviews, as I've seen here on your page, I'd question the quality of your service. In any case, I truly wish you the best for your business and a good life. 16/10/2025: Great traditional Sicilian / Italian food with emphasis on seafood. Pizzas only on Saturday and Sunday. Easy access and parking out front.
