19/08/2025: We are from Switzerland and we were there on Monday during our vacation, we ate really well there. For prices like that you can't expect to eat in a Michelin star restaurant! Great value for money, thank you for the meal

17/08/2025: I rarely write reviews, but this time I was truly disappointed. We were a group of six seated at the back of the room. Let's start with the fact that from the moment we sat down, we had to wait at least half an hour to order, after multiple requests. The waiters were inappropriately and unnecessarily sarcastic; in fact, while we were ordering, they would suddenly wander off to other tables to chat with other diners (something that happened again later in the evening). The appetizer was delivered on time, although one of the diners never received his drink. The pizza arrived after over an hour, after having harassed the waiters, and it was beyond mediocre: burnt edges, substandard ingredients, and some were even raw! Shortly after we finished our pizzas, a very rude waiter asked us to leave, not considering that one person was still eating (without even asking if we wanted dessert). When it came time to pay, they gave us a hard time because we didn't have change. The bathroom was dirty and lacked functioning doors and toilet paper. To recap: there are a thousand better places than these in Palermo, especially with better service.

27/08/2025: Eight of us had dinner at Vento dal Sud. The atmosphere is pleasant, trattoria-style, and the piazza is very pretty, although it feels like the place is geared more toward tourists than locals. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations: we all complained about the mussels, which weren't good quality. Furthermore, the waiter didn't handle the situation with the friendliness we'd expected, which made the experience a bit unpleasant. To top it all off, we even found a filament of metal dish sponge in the risotto! It's a shame, because with a little more attention, especially in terms of service and attention to the quality of the ingredients, the place could really offer better. However, we probably won't be returning.

27/08/2025: Well! Four of us arrived around 9:30 PM and were told we could only order fish of the day by weight. After asking for clarification, they allowed us to choose starters and main courses, but not pizzas. Shortly afterward, however, they informed us that pizzas were available. So we ordered three pizzas, a mussel soup, and a seafood salad. Throughout the dinner, the waiters exchanged unprofessional jokes and barbs in front of the customers, discussing service errors and incorrect orders. The pizzas were edible but nothing special, the salad smelled bad, and unfortunately, some of the mussels in the soup were clearly not fresh, so much so that we had to leave it. Overall, the confused service and poorly prepared dishes made for a disappointing evening. We won't be returning.

28/08/2025: Poorly cooked food, completely flavorless, very poor service, waitress annoyed by a change requested during the order. We're not happy with it. A real shame, because the place is worth it, given its location right on the sea. They probably prioritize quantity over quality.

14/06/2025: The best pizza I've eaten in a long time. Delicious airy dough, very large size and delicious toppings. Really what you're looking for in a pizza. In addition, it was also cozy sitting and good service. Definitely recommended!

12/04/2025: Really delicious pizza, cooked just right, excellent quality ingredients and really delicious flavour, the staff is quite qualified and very kind, I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a delicious pizza. Excellent 100++++++++++

08/09/2025: A must-stop! The ricotta cannoli and granitas are superb. I'm from Catania, and here I discovered the jasmine and ricotta flavors; the former tastes lemony, the latter is delicate.

19/08/2025: The best granita we've had in all of Sicily. We were on vacation for 15 days and ordered granita every day throughout the island. Without a doubt, we had the best here. The pistachio and almond flavors were exquisite, and the chocolate granita was also very special. The brioche was also delicious. Highly recommended.

11/06/2025: I had high expectations considering the exorbitant amount I spent on this sugar paste cake. It looked nice, but as soon as we cut it… total disappointment! Terrible flavor, strange consistency, almost inedible sweetness as if the cream were a bar of butter. A real disaster, especially considering how much I paid for it. Never again!!!

03/05/2025: Absolutely zero. They don't respect anything that is asked of them. I wonder how they are not ashamed of delivering certain products. Beyond the arrogance and rudeness that can be felt inside the place. NEVER AGAIN. A total DISAPPOINTMENT.

30/08/2025: Terrible experience... Zero organization... Zero staff... Consequently, perhaps even zero food... Extremely long waits for seats despite having free tables... Priority only for tables for two and four people... As soon as there are 6 or 7 of you, you're screwed... You don't sit down anymore... Ask the staff and with a grumpy expression, they don't give you any explanations... In short, avoid.

30/08/2025: Horrible experience, terrible staff, poor quality food, extremely rude, arrogant and there are no more words to describe this place....

14/07/2025: Péssima experiencia, me colocaram a ultima mesa em um tipo de anexo do restaurante, com vista para um estacionamento. Só vale a pena ir para sentar no salão principal, se não for neste lugar, não vale o que se paga.

31/12/2024: Shameful. We received Christmas baskets purchased from them as gifts and they were full of expired products, for example a large pack of Venchi chocolates.

02/09/2025: I had the almond and pistachio granita, but I couldn't tell which was almond and which pistachio, except from the color. Worst granita I've ever tasted.

31/08/2025: Very good pasticerria at reasonable prices, as indicated by the presence of many locals. Wide selection of sweet and savory dishes, as well as excellent ice cream.

05/07/2025: After attending for more than three years, I can only recommend it for the authenticity of the food, carefully chosen and well prepared by Maestro Giovanni, a first-rate Chef; as it was for me, once you know it you never leave it, the atmosphere and the area are excellent, right in the center of the two major theaters in Palermo. 09/06/2025: If they hadn't been inconsistent, with social media managers (among other things, petty companies ultra-jealous of their followers who didn't re-share the food tagged by external food bloggers) who published dishes but then you went there and, punctually, for one reason or another, they couldn't make them (for example, fried pizzas...)... If they had at least kept the non-stop hamburgers, even in the afternoon... If they hadn't changed staff continuously (with people who had to re-learn everything from scratch every time)... If they had decided once and for all what they wanted to do in the evening, whether to stay open or not. They probably would have kept a loyal following of customers (who were there, and how) and would not have fueled a vicious circle of scams and poor service that undermined trust in the place... Sigh! Great potential thrown away...

04/06/2025: Eravamo un gruppo molto numeroso e abbiamo ordinato l'opzione giropizza. Le pizze non avevano un bell'aspetto, l'impasto era duro e colloso, molto pesante. Antipasti fritti tutti surgelati, ovviamente. Molti di noi sono stati male, probabilmente per gli ingredienti scadenti o perché qualcosa era andato a male. Pessima esperienza, vergognosi.

17/05/2025: Vale la pena andare in questo locale specialmente per la pizza con il bordo ripieno, ottimo impasto e ben digeribile. I gusti sono un po' particolari, ma ci sono anche le pizze tradizionali. La location è carina ma il locale si trova un po' fuori dal centro. Prezzo giusto e servizio cordiale
