10/03/2025: I've known the owners of the place for many years and have been frequenting Pizza Mania "all my life" but until now I've never thought of doing a review and I think the time has come to do so. The Pizza prepared rigorously by Peppe Cuffaro (and not by other pizza chefs as often happens in other pizzerias when they become "too famous") is not a simple pizza but an experience to be enjoyed from start to finish. It really leaves you speechless, starting from the way it looks and then continuing with the palate, total enjoyment, the ingredients are fresh and you can taste them all, one by one, the taste is something that when you try it you can no longer do without, the dough has risen perfectly and the cooking is just right, neither raw nor burnt, soft, beautiful. My girlfriend and I took "Itria" and "Delizia". I recommend them, absolutely worth trying, but not just these, but all the pizzas that our friend Peppe prepares for us. Yes, Peppe is a friend, he puts you at ease, both he and his wife, extraordinary people, total availability and superlative hospitality are the sidelines, then the environment is very familiar, you feel at home, you have no problems there with them. And then the nice thing is that, unlike other pizzerias, you can go and sit even at one in the morning, as I often do for work reasons 😄 and to top it off, you can easily find free parking. In short, what more can I say, enough with the words, go there and then let me know. You can also mention my name if you want 😊 and believe me, it's a completely dispassionate review. Pizza mania deserves it. And a lot too.

13/04/2025: We stopped at this pastry, ice cream and café after a walk along the seafront. We sat outside. The staff showed us the pastry shop by taking a quick visit inside. We chose to have a half water served in a cardboard box, a coffee macchiato, a Sicilian cannoli with chopped pistachios, a pistachio-flavoured almond paste which I highly recommend because they are made by them and different from the commercial ones tasted around which only taste of sugar and a tuna breaded one. The bill was around €14, a bit high to tell the truth for what we got but there was also a percentage on the external service, then the environment is modern and the choice is very wide. We recommend it.

05/04/2025: A true gem! This patisserie is simply superb. Each dessert is a small work of art, with attention to the smallest details and an unforgettable flavour. From crunchy cannoli rich in fresh ricotta to spectacular cakes, through to pastries that seem to have come out of a Parisian shop window... everything is made with a passion that can be felt at the first bite. The staff is kind and welcoming, always ready to advise with a smile. The environment is warm and fragrant: you come in for a pastry and you would like to taste the whole counter! An obligatory stop for those who love real artisan desserts in Avola. Highly recommended! 🔝

08/09/2024: I have been to this place several times, located in a quiet village. Having a good dinner and a nice evening is the goal that everyone tries to aim for when they go out, in this place there is the possibility of satisfying these needs. There is great service and the staff are friendly and efficient. There is a varied and vast variety of choices for dinner and above all there is quality! This place is also suitable for those who aim to spend little, because there is an excellent quality-price ratio and all the comforts you need. So I recommend this place. After having been there countless times I can confirm that I always had a very good time!

27/03/2025: Ridiculous hospitality, that if you want to have a bottle of water (and pay 1,50 for the small one) you can not sit at the tables. If you have even just a coffee, you can. I was literally sent away by the waitress, because I just had a water, even though the place was not full. So the only thing they care about is 💰🤑💶

24/01/2025: Excellent location, I had pasta for my lunch break. Huge and abundant dishes. Menu offering both fish and meat variations. Room with many seats. Both lunch and dinner. Personally I was undecided between seafood carbonara and pasta with breadcrumbs and sardines. In the end I got the latter, I'll try the carbonara next time. Very good chef, friendly dining room staff. Fair prices. I would stay here again and recommend

15/03/2025: Personale assolutamente terrificante… tutti molto sgarbati da quello In cassa a quelli che si occupano delle pulizie ho vissuto momenti di disagio e quasi di terrore… avevo il timore anche a chiedere dove era il bagno perché tutti erano continuamente sgarbati… i camerieri si facevano spazzino tra i clienti urlandogli addosso di togliersi… Avevamo bisogno di 2 bicchieri d’acqua per i bambini che avevano urgenza di bere… vado al banco bar per evitare di passare dalla cassa per pagare la bottiglietta d’acqua perché il tizio in cassa era troppo arrabbiato… Allora chiedo di avere due bicchieri d’acqua al banconista mi dice sì ma si continua a pulire i calici esposti, parlando e scherzando con i colleghi, dopo di ciò una cameriera si avvicina e chiede di aggiungere un po’ di sambuca nei cocktail. lui finisce di pulire i bicchieri e comincia a correggere i 2 cocktail allora gli chiedo nuovamente dell’acqua e li sbrocca… dicendo che non stava con le mani in mano e che stava lavorando…. Allora gli spiego che era urgente e che uno dei bambini era affogato… ma continuava ad alterarsi e con sguardo minaccioso mi guardava dal banco bar… non che mi avesse fatto paura… Ma siamo rimasti allibiti nel vedere un bar così bello e posizionato in una delle località più belle di Palermo, gestito da gente che non lo merita assolutamente pessimo… Peccato

14/03/2025: Sono stato al Touring Café Beach Club a Mondello con grandi aspettative, ma purtroppo sono rimasto deluso. La brioche con gelato è stata una vera e propria sorpresa negativa, sembrava un prodotto industriale, secca e senza quel gusto autentico che ci si aspetta da un buon dolce siciliano. Il gelato, poi, non mi ha entusiasmato: discreto, non è niente di speciale e si trova molto meglio anche al nord Italia. La location è carina e il panorama è sicuramente un punto a favore, ma per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo, c’è decisamente di meglio nella zona. Non credo che ci tornerò.

08/03/2025: Sabato 1 marzo chiamo e qualcuno mi risponde che sono sempre aperti di sabato a pranzo. Allora, Giorno 8 marzo mi presento in ristorante, dove anche il sito, del resto, dà apertura dalle 12 alle 23,30 e trovo solo sale vuote e loro in cucina. Per educazione, torno indietro fuori e chiamo per vedere cosa dicono. Mi risponde una persona dicendo che sono chiusi. A questo punto mi basta osservare questo loro comportamento per decidere di non mettervi più piede. La ristorazione è cosa seria, se si ragiona come voi, si resterà per sempre un locale inaffidabile.

23/02/2025: Prenotato tavolo per 8 persone, siamo stati accolti dal personale cordiale e gentile. Fatti accomodare in un tavolo molto comodo, assistiti dal responsabile. Il menù non è molto ricco, un solo antipasto misto (tutto a base di carciofi), due primi piatti e poi un'ampia offerta di tagli di carne di alta qualità. Eccellente sia l'antipasto che le busiate. Buono il vino della casa, ed anche i dessert. Prezzi nella norma. Molto soddisfatti dell'esperienza .

18/01/2025: It's a shame because the pizza is good, but the times must be respected. You cannot take the pizza out of the oven more than 15 minutes before the agreed time and also expect to be right.

03/09/2024: I don't usually give low ratings because I'm always respectful of people's work, but this time I have to. We arrive at 7.50pm on a Tuesday evening, there are seven of us, we decide to sit down and eat a sandwich, we are greeted by a lady who tells us that since they are limited with space and seats she cannot join two tables and that if we want we have to sit at a table that seats six. We were disappointed because, as you can see in the photo, THERE WAS NO ONE, so we left. Heartfelt congratulations to the management, it means they don't need to work, good for them.
