11/03/2026: A very beautiful place, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pizzas are delicious, made with whole-grain dough. The homemade bread is delicious. Everything is perfect. Highly recommended!

14/12/2025: If you have an hour to kill at Messina, walk over the railway bridge and you'll find this lovely bistro with spectacular sea views. After a week of Sicilian food, what a delight to taste "real" wholemeal bread again, fresh salmon, apple, red cabbage, salad, etc. Washed down with fresh juice. English menu accessed via qr code on your table. Cute kids playground next door too.

09/11/2025: The ice cream is definitely delicious, and the presentation is lovely, with printed paper cones for the cones, colorful boxes for the brioche with Tuppo, and pretty tins for larger purchases.
They even have compostable spoons made of bioplastic – exemplary!
However, I think the slogan "Number 1 in Italy" is a gross exaggeration and a bit presumptuous, as I've definitely had better ice cream in Sicily.
There are also gelaterias with a much wider selection and more interesting flavors.
Sicily is diverse!

Prices are average, and the staff is a bit tart.
It's a shame about the location; it's difficult to find, hidden in the countryside between Solarino and Sortino.
But it's worth it!

16/03/2026: While the product quality is always satisfactory, I'm not entirely satisfied with the service at the counter, which is rather cold, especially from one of the counter staff.
Another unacceptable flaw (although I think it's a personal choice) is the lack of a small pastry shop.
