13/10/2024: Je me faisais une joie de manger dans ce joli restaurant coloré un peu à l'écart de la rue principale. Mais quelle déception !!! Très cher et vraiment et la cuisine est vraiment médiocre. Le couscous aux agrumes est un pauvre taboulé sans intérêt, les spaghetti del cuoppo hyper salés avec une sauce en boîte. Vraiment on trouve mieux sans difficultés

05/10/2024: Trouvé par hasard en nous rendant au port, au bout de la rue. La terrasse étroite est très colorée, c’est joli. Nous avons dégusté une pièce de bœuf cuite à la plancha, pour changer du thon et des pâtes, que nous adorons par ailleurs. C’était tendre et délicieux. Une très bonne surprise !

12/02/2025: Poor piadina...decent chicken but the chips seemed boiled, not to mention the owner was really rude in her general manner. It pains me to say that the competition in the surrounding area is decidedly more highly rated both for quality and price and above all for the staff who are decidedly friendlier towards customers. One last thing... if you don't have a service such as a toilet, avoid placing seats inside the room.

22/03/2025: Extra expensive pistachio ice cream, little quantity and little flavor. Be careful, they charge you more if you get any pistachio ice cream.

I wanted to tell a gentleman with the name PIPUS that the products are made daily...unfortunately they are put in the window after they get cold. Every customer is always asked if they want the product heated or at room temperature. They deserve 10th praise

06/01/2025: Beautiful New Year's Eve evening, excellent food, super entertainment and everything looked after in an elegant and professional way. On January 5th I celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday, a plentiful and delicious buffet, the dessert buffet with attention to every detail with the addition of a chocolate fountain. The owners are always available, kind and welcoming. The staff are very professional and ready for our every request.

26/01/2025: Siamo stati al Cala Croce Club da Mimmo per la colazione e per godere della meravigliosa spiaggia. Purtroppo la giornata uggiosa e il vento un po’ fastidioso ci hanno consentito solo una colazione piacevolissima nonostante il vento. Il posto è magnifico!

29/10/2024: Nulla da eccepire sulla qualità del cibo, davvero superlativa così come il servizio molto attento e gentile. Utile avere però i prezzi del fuori menù per non trovarsi sorprese al momento del conto!

Il personale è cortese e professionale, sempre attento a soddisfare ogni esigenza, senza mai risultare invadente. L'attenzione ai dettagli e la passione per l'ospitalità si percepiscono in ogni momento.

17/12/2024: We stayed in Giarre 3 nights and Novecento was the best dinner by far. It's a 20-minute walk from the center of town to the restaurant, but well worth it. Novecento is in a century-old house; the dining area is on the first floor, where the bedrooms once were. The design is elegant but welcoming. And the food was delightful! One of us is vegetarian and was not disappointed by the menu. The other is an omnivore and so was delighted by the unique local dishes - not the same 5 offerings that most restaurants prepare. The appetizer for one would have been more than enough for two, but of course we couldn't resist, a primo for the vegetarian and a secondo for the omnivore.

09/04/2025: My opinion? I think the price-performance ratio is very bad, I'm paying for a service that isn't even mentioned. Why? I would also have liked us as a group to be told directly that payment is only possible in cash. The portion was so small, it could have been a dessert :( Unfortunately I can't recommend this to you. Ps. You took the contents out of a pesto jar. I make it at home and it still tastes better :)

08/12/2024: The food is good but the service is really too slow. I have come several times, always on Saturdays, when the place was crowded, but in no other restaurant have I ever had to wait so long, not even in those with even more seats than this one. Every time I've come I've waited half an hour just to get the menu, an hour for fries and a full two and a half hours for the pizza. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves a more organized service. I recommend coming only if you have a lot of patience.

07/12/2024: Il cibo è buono ma il servizio è davvero troppo lento. Tutte le volte che sono venuto, ho dovuto aspettare mezz'ora solo per ricevere il menù, un'ora per delle semplici patatine e ben due ore e mezza per la pizza. È un peccato, perché la qualità del cibo meriterebbe una gestione più attenta e organizzata. Se decidete di venire qui, preparatevi a lunghe attese

13/10/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo luogo prima di tutto per l'importanza sociale che ha: si tratta di una gastronomia in cui lavorano persone, in particolare donne, che hanno la necessità di "ripartire" dopo brutte esperienze e poi perché producono cibi "di strada" e dolci buonissimi. all'interno del locale vi è pure una libreria. Chiamatelo arancino, arancina, come preferite, vi assicuro che quello che abbiamo mangiato era strepitoso!
