21/07/2026: this review is long time overdue… however I must recommend this place to anyone who has the chance!!! we visited the bakery back in April this year. the pastries are hot, fresh and delicious and you can tell they were made with love and experience. you’ll definitely find something for yourself - whether you prefer sweet or savory. me and my friend tried probably half of the menu and there wasn’t a thing that wasn’t delicious. the prices are very good too! we met the owner as well as his daughter and chatted a little, she taught us some Italian and it was a very pleasant time to be there (we had to visit a second time when we were passing by again)

09/07/2026: I rarely find such a good place, with impeccable service and exceptional courtesy. The food was exquisite, the red shrimp buttons the best I've ever eaten.

09/07/2026: Wine bar with a menu perfectly in line with the menu. Delicious food, the tapas format is convenient for sampling multiple dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the main course (a first course). The staff were professional and friendly, and a special mention goes to the sommelier who guided us through the menu and let us try several options before we chose. The wine tasting recommendation at the end of the meal was excellent! Stunning location. Perfect evening, excellent value. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

23/02/2026: A wonderful experience in a very unique place, with a very nice, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. The pizza was very good, considering what's out there these days. Granted, it was Saturday and it was very busy, so the service was a bit slow, but it was all manageable, given the pleasant atmosphere. I'll gladly return. Highly recommended.

08/06/2026: Very nice location, very friendly staff, and a variety of flavors. The gelato is average, the prices are above average, yet they don't put much gelato in the cone or brioche! Oh, and I forgot, an empty cone for the little girl is €1.20.

23/04/2026: Silly of me not to write a review sooner. It's been a few years since we visited Pantelleria, staying in Scauri, and U Friscu was such a nice place in every respect. Friendly, comfortable, great food, great prices, great cocktails and the best granita we found in all of Sicily. When dusk fell, the staff placed a table lamp on each of the tables, transforming the simple room into a stylish dining room. The lamps themselves were gorgeous, and I found them online and two of them grace my dining table every night - reminding me of U Friscu always. Pantelleria is in our hearts, and U Friscu helped put it there.

27/10/2025: A quick stop for a family lunch. Every dish tastes exquisite. The stunning windows offer a fantastic view during lunch, but the sun shines in with a vengeance. You might want to choose a more secluded spot to avoid getting burned on those beautiful, sunny afternoons. Kudos to the establishment.

02/10/2025: CAUTION ⚠️ We booked through Check24. We arrived in the mountains in the dark. The place was closed, and it hadn't been closed since yesterday. The only people who greeted us were two not-so-friendly dogs. We barely made it into the car. If this is a rip-off, it's this. One star is too many.

09/05/2026: The crepes were very thin. Upon delivery, they were crumbling and therefore open, impossible to bite into. The little toppings were eaten by hand. Let's just say the quality-price ratio needs to be reevaluated.

02/07/2026: We're regular customers at this pizzeria, and for this very reason, we regret having to leave a negative review. On our last visit, we encountered several issues that left us very disappointed. First, the prices on our bill didn't match those listed on the menu, without any prior notification. Furthermore, the menu listed a 66cl beer, but instead we were served a 50cl. We were the only table seated in the pizzeria, and we waited 40 minutes after ordering before receiving our food. The situation was made even more unpleasant by the fact that, at the time of payment, we weren't given a receipt. As customers, we expected greater transparency and fairness. We definitely won't be returning.

24/05/2026: The best pizza in all of Messina, and my favorite place in the entire city. You're a joy to us out-of-towners. You could be a little nicer, but we'll forgive you for anything; you're still the best.

05/07/2026: -UPDATE 2- After a few years, I tried it again and I must say it's significantly improved compared to the past. The staff is friendly, the food is good, plentiful, and well-served. If I really had to find a flaw, the restaurant, although air-conditioned, isn't very cool on the hottest days. But given the size of the restaurant and the limited seating on the day I visited, that's understandable. -UPDATE 1- The competition in the area has increased, but the quality has declined. Many people have complained of stomach pains after eating. The fish isn't very fresh. -ORIGINAL REVIEW 4 STARS- Excellent place to eat Chinese and Japanese in Cefalù without spending a fortune. Thanks to its size, the place is always available. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant that costs €18 for lunch and €25 for dinner, I think because there's more variety in the evening, such as the sushi boat. Prices do not include drinks and desserts, but every 10 drinks (for example, if two people go, they'll count as two) get a €15 discount on the next one. The staff, especially the cashier, aren't very knowledgeable; I know you can see that even from the way they wrote the first page of the menu.
