29/05/2025: The food is really not what you expect. My partner had risotto frutta di mare: limp reheated rice with some mussels, shellfish and 2 langoustines. I had crispy sea bass: fish 2 mm thick, the rest crust. The vegetables underneath were a mixture of spinach, olives and dried tomatoes, but really not tasty. The primi: buratta, this was ok. I had octopus: way too salty. The wine: this one on the menu was not there, but there was a more expensive option. The waiter could not open the bottle properly, there were all metal particles from the cap in my glass. Then a fat 3 euros per person coperto. It was our most expensive and worst dinner during our 2 week tour of Sicily... pure tourist fraud!

10/06/2025: Hello, yesterday I consumed, in this bar on Via Etnea, a pistachio and toasted almond granita. Nothing to complain about the quality of the product, I found both flavors to be excellent, I would instead like to point out some things that, if improved, could change the general evaluation. The granita, which was served to me at the table, was slightly melted as well as in a rather small quantity. Considering the total cost, I think the quantity of granita inside the cup could be increased and it could be served a little more compact. Along with the granitas, however, I was able to enjoy excellent brioches and an excellent coffee.

05/06/2025: 😋PISTACHIO GRANITA TOP!!!😋 I tried the pistachio granita with brioche col tuppo (€4.50 all) and I have to say that both the quality of the pistachio and the quality of the brioche dough are really excellent. Among other things, the granita also contained some small pieces of pistachio, which flavored the palate with every spoonful. Worth repeating🤤 The bar has seating both outside, on the ground floor, and on the second floor indoors. Personally, I found the room on the second floor very peaceful and quiet, great for reading (also because it tends to be empty). I like it! I didn't expect to find such a good and quiet pistachio so easily, well done!!

25/05/2025: Truly absurd experience!!! We order, on the advice of the waiter, 2 pizzas by the slice, who tells us that should be enough... "if you want more, we'll add them".... we wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before being served... realizing that the quantity was small after not even 5 minutes that we had started eating... we ask for another pizza... and we are told that the kitchen has been closed... leaving us literally starving... beers all finished... we start with the crystals of salt which then runs out... we ask for the golden seed... which then runs out too... anyway... we go to the bill, the lady at the cashier, I assume the owner, presents us with a bill of 104.00 euros (2 pizzas, 7 small beers, and 2 cans) and complaining about what happened... she takes away the 4 euros... but what is more serious, she doesn't even apologize for what happened but tells us that the kitchen closes at a certain time... I'll start by saying that they served us at 11:10 after 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting... Shame!!!

25/05/2025: Disappointing experience and unacceptable service Our evening at this restaurant was unfortunately extremely disappointing. Despite a reservation for 10:00 pm, we were seated late and, after ordering at 10:15 pm, we only received two pizzas by the slice at around 11:15 pm. After realizing that the quantities were insufficient for our group, we asked to add another course, but we were informed that the kitchen was now closed. Result: after more than an hour and twenty minutes of waiting, eight people had to leave the table practically fasting. To make the experience even worse, the attempt to speak to a manager proved useless, as the person we spoke to showed no intention of apologizing for the poor service suffered. An experience that unfortunately we do not recommend and that we hope will be an exception, although the management of the evening leaves strong doubts in this regard.

30/05/2025: Servizio inesistente, l'unica persona che mi ha servita è stata scontrosa, non ha capito il mio ordine. Ho dovuto mangiare qualcosa che non volevo. I biscotti sono duri e insapore e tre pancake costano 6 euro quando poco tempo fa 5 pancake ne costavano 6. Un furto non solo riguardo il costo ma soprattutto il gusto del cibo.

28/04/2025: Location: located in front of the San Nicola pier, it consists of a welcoming and well-kept covered area. Menu: the offer is wide, there are many special pizzas, with combinations that I have not seen in many other pizzerias. There is also a wide choice for starters and other dishes Pizzas: we took 4, all very good and with abundant seasoning (as with the raw ham added to one of the 4, which I'll talk about later), perfect cooking Prices: the prices are excellent, there are pizzas from 8 to 15 euros, the cover charge is 1 euro. Unfortunately, for an addition of raw ham we found ourselves with +3.50 euros which in my opinion was exaggerated (for an addition we expect a maximum of 1.50 euros, but no more than double). For this reason 4 and not 5 stars. Staff: very friendly and always available. Conclusions: also recommended for the wide choice of special pizzas and the location, which allows you to take a pleasant walk both before and after dinner. Watch out for additions!
