12/06/2025: We stopped to get some sweets and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The pastry shop is excellent, the products are varied and fresh.

03/06/2025: 27th/May 29th/May 31st/May 1st/June 3rd/June EDIT Our 5th time here, as passing most days. Trying out their excellent verity of fast food sandwiches and pre-prepared lunches. Not forgetting the large amount of cakes and desserts too choose from. Well worth diverting if close by. Very helpful friendly staff.

26/07/2025: Il Cicci’s è il Cicci’s! Bar, ristoro, bistrot sul mare vicino alla cala del bue marino. Per noi è stato fondamentale. Colazioni al mattino con briosches farcite (pistacchio, marmellate, ecc…). Per una pausa del mezzogiorno per una rinfrescante insalata pantesca e una granita. A cena per una capponata di pesce spada. Come non menzionare la musica, sempre presente, anni 80 90 e altro, con ottima scelta di brani iconici. Se siete sull’isola non potete fare almeno una sosta ristoratrice al Cicci’s!! Servizio cordiale e gentile. Buon viaggio!

01/08/2025: Very good bakery. Their specialty is "pane cunzatu." A typical local delicacy, with tomatoes 🍅, cheese, anchovies, delicious extra virgin olive oil, and oregano. The panelle and the delicious cassatella are also delicious. Excellent quality and service. The staff are super helpful if you need anything. A wonderful experience, definitely worth trying. 😋

04/07/2025: We ate very delicious food at a very good price. Burgers are 4-7€ and plentiful. The service is nice and fast. Only use the bathroom if you really need it, otherwise it's rather forgettable.

23/05/2025: Let's say it was my "little" pizzeria and I have a positive memory linked to this place. I don't know how the service and the pizza are now but in my opinion it maintains its characteristics of decent/good pizza and very fast.

08/03/2025: Che dire....a questa pizzeria ho dato secondo possibilità,ma non è andato bene. Una pizza arrivata poco poco tiepida,altra completamente fredda e come forse non è bastato hanno dimenticato di mettere mozzarella. La pizza cocktail sembrava più una fetta biscottata.Devo essere sincera la salsa aurora e gamberetti erano molto buoni,e anche crocchette di patate che ordinato mio figlio erano buoni. Chi sa magari io sono così sfortunata 🤔

08/08/2025: On Friday, August 8th, at 9:30 PM, I was at Caffè Insigne on Via Etnea. I ordered two Spritzes for my girlfriend and me. The Spritzes were watered down and all Prosecco, with no Spritz flavor. I politely asked if it could be topped up with more Aperol, and the bartender in question, a short girl with brown hair and a ponytail, responded very rudely, pulling a snarky face, snapping that the Spritzes were good without tasting them. She also treated us rudely because she thought they were good, saying she knew what she was doing and they had to be good! After she made us the new Spritzes, she asked her colleague (who was very kind, and even apologized to us on her behalf) in a loud voice if we had said anything about the Spritzes, as if to provoke discussion. The bartender in question is also very lucky to have found two good people.... Why was she aiming for the mixed spritzes and making them!!!?

08/07/2025: Given the scorching heat, a granita with brioche was the perfect remedy. We stumbled upon this bar with a renowned name, but nothing to write home about. The granita was good, but very loose, and served in plastic cups, not just to us but to other tourists as well. That day, they didn't offer table service, so we made do. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for some of the locals, who sat down and were served with slushies in glasses and metal spoons. Excessive parochialism? Certainly not pleasant.

07/07/2025: We will never return. The lady is always rude. My son had to go to the bathroom, they told me they had no water... last year a friend of my mother had to go to the bathroom and guess what? Same answer... they had no water. It seems absurd to me. Obviously after having happily consumed. And surely there are better granitas! Don't waste your time in this dump. Rude, lazy and let's not talk about hygiene...!!!!!

20/06/2025: I don't like to write negative reviews, but the Loda Sunset above the Madosa (which I thought belonged to them) was a total disappointment. Spending 50 euros for two for an aperitif had never happened to me, not even in the most chic place. To have a classic spritz and another cocktail (paid 8 euros each) and an AperiLoda (which they didn't specify was without drinks) consisting of only 3 tastings, namely swordfish caponata, cocktail with 4 prawns and basmati rice with lemon and diced salmon (freshly taken out of the fridge) paid 18 euros each... not to mention served on organic canteen-style trays. It's ok to be organic but for 50 euros I expected something more in everything. I'm sorry but never again and I find it difficult to recommend. Maybe they still have a lot to learn.

08/08/2025: Everything was good, we had a delicious aperitif, the staff was kind and polite, as well as very friendly... I recommend it .

18/07/2025: One of our favourite spots in Taormina. The staff were warm and welcoming, the bruschetta were the best we had anywhere in Sicily, and the spicy margs were spot on! It’s a great people watching spot and open later than many places in the town. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit!

25/06/2025: English speaking staff and the Granita is refreshing and nice. A good spot to relax in front of the Garibaldi Garden.

17/06/2025: Both the service and quality of ice cream were poor. My server seemed surprised that at the peak of tourist season in Sicily that his customers do not all speak Italian, and impatiently grunted and gesticulated at me when I did not understand him. Ice cream was low quality and overly sweet, lacking depth of flavour. Would not recommend
