21/02/2025: We ate at this restaurant twice, for dinner, after a walk in the area to admire the lava flow. If the food is really good and tasty (fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and spinach, horse meatballs, bruschetta, pork rib and sausage), the welcome and friendliness of Gaetano, the owner, are an added value of well-being and positivity, which made us spend a very pleasant evening, between taste and amiable conversation. Furthermore, the environment is very characteristic, created from the stable of Gaetano's grandparents' house and furnished with ancient objects, artistically adapted and painted, such as a decorated wagon wheel that functions as a chandelier. Needless to say, we had a good time. We will definitely be back.

11/02/2025: An excellent lunch where we were welcomed as at home. Gaetano pulled out all the stops: aperitif, excellent main course, dessert... everything was a success! The place is atypical and provides a great friendly atmosphere. I recommend with great pleasure!! Thanks again.

05/01/2025: Excellent gastronomy in San Giiovanni la Punta, at peak times it is always packed both for seating and for pick-up, and this also shows how good and high quality their dishes are. Always fresh pasta and a large variety of second courses. The prices? Like any other gastronomy in the area! When it comes to gastronomy, no one beats Sicily!

07/02/2025: In the best-placed bar on Sicily we ordered a hot chocolate, espresso and a blood orange juice. Everything, including service was perfect. The owner is one of the most wholesome and affable man I've ever met. The location is amazing too. I fully recommend

13/02/2025: Siamo stati a cena in osteria, abbiamo scelto la la pizza, è stata un incanto, come il servizio e la pizza per celiaci, prodotta direttamente da loro con un impasto buono e soffice. Ottima serata, sembra di stare in un luogo ameno e confortevole. Gli ngredienti di prima qualità e servizio lodevole sono stati una ciliegina sulla.... Pizza.

02/02/2025: Ottima pizza, la “Mimmo” pasta leggerissima, molto semplice con i sapori ben delineati; datterino, gamberi, zeste di limone. Ottimi antipasti, della vera tradizione siciliana, e (trionfo del carboidrato) ottime e delicatissime le linguine alla triglia. Un vero spettacolo. Buono anche il vino, un bel rose dell’Etna di cantina Alkantara, una scoperta.

15/02/2025: Food wasn't really that amazing if im honest. Parking was a NIGHTMARE. I would consider coming if the menu wasn't that wierd. Not to say it in a bad way but it was too out there, even for me. But, to each his own this is my personal opinion, as other guests seemed to enjoy the food. Tommy is a wonderfull host and my review shouldn't reflect the staff and the restaurant itself. A solid 5/10 for me

16/02/2025: I had already tried the summer menu, completely different from the one found today (February) with all seasonal ingredients. I came with my family, a little skeptical, but when they tried the various dishes they changed their minds, the agnolotti with hemp ricotta and the arancine with beetroot were excellent, but the chocolate cake with a warm heart and pistachio ice cream was something exceptional. Welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff, who guide you in choosing the dishes. Excellent quality ingredients, tasty, well balanced in the various dishes. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of the diet you adopt, it will amaze you.

26/11/2024: Simply wonderful. Small, tranquil alley, small chairs and tables made from wine crates in front of it, rustically furnished inside - what was promised visually was even exceeded by the wine. We're not big wine connoisseurs, we said we like a dry Lugana - he recommended a local wine. In short: the best we have ever drunk. We also ate a bruschetta, the selection was limited because not all the ingredients were available in winter (so everything is fresh!) - but still a very good little piece of bread for a reasonable €2.50. If you want to have a drink before dinner: go here!

02/01/2025: We recently went to this seafood restaurant and the experience was simply fantastic! There were two of us and we decided to try an appetizer, two second courses and a side dish. The service was impeccable: the waiters were extremely helpful and courteous, making our visit even more pleasant. They were able to advise us on dishes and always maintained a smiling and professional attitude. As for the food, I can't say enough about the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The starters were delicious and the main courses exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, the restaurant environment is very welcoming and modern, with an atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. It is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fish!

29/01/2025: This afternoon, I, a vegan, with my omnivorous children and my husband, went to try their products, both sweet and savory. We were pleasantly impressed: everything was tasty, good, light and balanced. Not least the kindness, courtesy and courtesy shown in the service. We will certainly return to try other equally inviting looking dishes.

26/01/2025: Wonderful experience on all fronts, extremely helpful and professional staff, their help was fundamental in recommending the dishes we would order, explaining everything down to the smallest detail. We had 2 starters and second courses, I don't think I've ever eaten so well out before visiting them. We really appreciated the intimacy and peace of the place. Even though I live quite far away, I hope to return as soon as possible, highly recommended!

A ground floor without any sign... in a place "frozen" in the 60s... a delicious pastry shop with forgotten desserts like "la patata" and historic desserts, staples and cannoli, places like this no longer exist. Hurry if you are also looking for the atmosphere and the place. The lady and her husband are two lovely people who make you feel at home. Thank you.
