02/04/2026: The atmosphere and service were very friendly. However, my toast was burnt and the coffee tasted like dish soap and was diluted.

26/03/2026: Everything was fine, the coffee was very good and the sandwich too. Until the waitress asked me if I wanted the small or the "double" and I said the small. When she brought it, it seemed like the small was very big, but since I'd never been there before, I just ate it. When I paid, they charged me for the large coffee (€6.50) and €0.80 for service (which is illegal since it should be listed on the menu). I'm disappointed that I can't go back to a place where I liked the food because I'm afraid of being ripped off for being a foreigner.

11/08/2026: The restaurant looks good, with a lovely interior and wall paintings. However, with the change of management, it became a pizzeria only, offering both seafood and meat appetizers and desserts. The food, however, didn't meet our expectations, which we'd built up from reading the reviews. The appetizers were mediocre, although they didn't seem fresh; the pizza was dry and unrefined; and the seada wasn't good, as the cheese was lumpy and strong. It seemed a bit like a restaurant catering to foreign tourists, of which it was actually full. At this price point, there are better choices.

14/06/2026: Everything was excellent!! The waiters were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The vegan croissant was top-notch. I'm not attaching any photos because I devoured everything with pleasure.

12/06/2026: Nice atmosphere, the chairs outside are a bit dirty. Friendly staff, except for the lady at the cash register (probably the owner), who was arrogant and a bit rude. The prices seemed high for the quality/quantity of the food we ordered. Simple additions to the pizzas cost €3 each, even though the menu says €2 (which is already expensive), way too much! Cover charge is €2.50, expensive... I wouldn't go back.

03/06/2026: The place is well laid out and organized. I had an excellent pizza with particularly good dough. The staff was also excellent, attentive and helpful.

27/10/2025: Absolutely amazing! The food at Cucina di Mariam was full of flavor and love — truly a taste of Senegal in the heart of Cagliari. There were delicious vegetarian options, beautifully presented, and everything tasted so fresh. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, explaining each dish with such warmth that it made the whole experience even more special. We left with happy hearts and full bellies — can’t wait to come back!

13/10/2025: The food was really delicious, the starter was shrimp with ground. The puree was amazing, the fish was excellent, fresh, juicy, full of flavour, the dessert was crispy and fragrant seadas, I recommend it. Only the table outside was crooked and the waiter was a bit in no mood, otherwise I recommend it 👍

10/10/2025: We had a birthday celebration. Had some nice fresh raw seafood. Tagliata was too raw even though my wife asked for medium. Frito misto had some part that were unedible like prawn heads. They ran out of regular Coca Cola. The waitress was very kind and the ambient was excellent.

04/08/2026: On Sunday evening, we went to this lovely outdoor restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, especially Emanuele, who served us during our stay that evening. We had an "octopus" pizza as an appetizer to share, which was very good and light. A "gourmet" risotto was very flavorful yet delicate, and the pasta with clams and bottarga was delicious, with a hint of bottarga flavor. We also had two desserts: a "alternative" tiramisu, which was good but nothing special, and the other, a "fragrant" chocolate tart, which was very hard and chewy. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We spent €150, but with the 30% discount on dishes with The Fork, it was €115.

02/08/2026: I would have really liked to give a better rating to one of the few places on the Costa Smeralda that offers gluten-free options safe for celiacs. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by service that I found decidedly unprofessional. As soon as we were seated, the waiter (I think his name was Paolo) asked us if we were ready to order. I told him I was still choosing the wine and politely asked for a couple of minutes. His response was, "Oh, indeed, I've never seen a woman choose so quickly." A joke that I found out of place and based on a stereotype. Shortly afterward, he asked if my boyfriend would also drink wine. When he said no, he made further jokes about him having to drive, culminating in, "It's not enough that we have to put up with them; we can't even drink because we have to drive." This comment also seemed decidedly inappropriate. In a place of this caliber, with a €6 cover charge and an international clientele, I expect friendly and professional service, not sexist jokes or stereotypes aimed at customers. We chose not to respond to the provocations and enjoy the dinner anyway, but it was an experience that left a very negative impression on us.

18/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Agriturismo Da Valore! We were their guests for Easter Monday lunch. We received a wonderful welcome, and the food was excellent, with generous portions. The day was warm and sunny, and our little girl enjoyed the slide and swings in the courtyard. They were courteous and helpful from the first phone call, providing us with all the details about the menu. A few days before lunch, we received a message with some suggestions for places to visit in Austis and the surrounding area, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks again, and keep up the good work! ❤️

08/04/2026: For Easter Monday, we booked a table for four, with a deposit of €20 per person. When we arrived, aperitifs were scheduled for 12:30. Other customers pointed us to a place on the lower level, from where we parked. A large, bare room, without chairs, with a table and a counter. They told us the non-alcoholic aperitifs were sold out, and offered us a diluted Aperol, which was actually just a few drops of Aperol and a glass of water. Aperitifs were over. At 1:00 PM, we were able to enter and sit down. Friendly and quick waitresses brought drinks and appetizers. Everything seemed to be working fine, but after an hour, at 1:00 PM, the appetizers still hadn't appeared. We waited, and they were starting to arrive; our turn came at 2:15. The two first courses were Sardinian gnocchi and ravioli, both delicious and plentiful. We warmed up and waited for side dishes and main courses. At 3:10 PM, neither appeared. At 3:25 PM, a few pieces of pork arrive, perhaps too large, at least in my opinion, along with a few pieces of goat, a small plate with four radishes, a carrot cut into five or six pieces, and fennel. Dessert starts at 4:30 PM. We ask for coffee. We settle the bill at €35 per person, having previously paid €20 by bank transfer. When we complain about the timing, the owner tells us that it's Easter Monday, after all. We leave, agreeing that we've had other Easter lunches, eaten better, in less time, spent less, and enjoyed a less noisy setting where we could still talk and hear each other. Austin and its surroundings are very beautiful and worth a visit; for dining, in my opinion, you can find better. Perhaps we arrived on the restaurant's off-day. We'll never know.

04/01/2026: This agriturismo is nestled in the tranquil Pabillonis countryside. It's perfect for those who want to unwind and enjoy a family lunch. Service was prompt, despite the restaurant being packed, and the owners' hospitality truly made all the difference. Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the coffee. The price was very fair for the quantity and quality offered. Highly recommended!

15/07/2026: We arrived around 8.15pm without having booked but they still made us sit down. In the meantime, other people were arriving and they made us sit down. The place was already quite full. They gave us the menu after almost an hour but no one came to take our order. On the other hand, we could see the people who had sat down after us, also without bookings, being served drinks and appetizers. We asked a waitress who was rushing by if we could order too but she was annoyed and always quickly told us that we had to wait. At that point, my husband and I left since it was almost 10pm. If you can't satisfy everyone, either hire more staff or take bookings based on who you can actually serve. Terrible experience.

26/07/2026: Great food and atmosphere. The garden is well decorated, there is nice music, and the indoor is beautiful too. Food is all share plates. Service was super fast..would have liked to have the time to finish my cocktail before they served the food, but also didn't ask so can't really comment on that.
