27/10/2025: Absolutely amazing! The food at Cucina di Mariam was full of flavor and love — truly a taste of Senegal in the heart of Cagliari. There were delicious vegetarian options, beautifully presented, and everything tasted so fresh. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, explaining each dish with such warmth that it made the whole experience even more special. We left with happy hearts and full bellies — can’t wait to come back!

09/02/2026: Unfortunately, I've noticed a significant price increase, averaging around €4 per dish. First courses cost almost €19, compared to €14 last year. The same goes for second courses. I honestly don't think such a drastic increase is justified. Yesterday, two first courses and five fried dishes cost €200. I'm sorry, but I'll be looking for quality elsewhere.

27/07/2025: A charming little restaurant, authentic and a bit hidden. The terrace is a pleasant place to dine. The menu is fresh and honest, with quality ingredients. A small drawback: our dishes were a bit too salty... But otherwise, everything was perfect!

04/10/2025: My fiancé and I spent about ten days in the Maddalena archipelago, and we were looking for a place to eat typical island and Sardinian food, and here we found it! The menu features traditional dishes, including many types of premium meat. The setting is wonderful, very rustic in keeping with Sardinian tradition, with a large wooden dining room and a lush garden with ample parking.

30/09/2025: Excellent location, very beautiful, well-maintained, with an almost family-like welcome. The first courses were excellent, refined, and plentiful, cooked with care, and then I ate the best suckling pig I've ever had, far superior to other "renowned" restaurants on the Costa Smeralda... Congratulations and thank you for making our evening a wonderful one.

11/11/2025: My wife and I went there for dinner. One of the few restaurants open in San Teodoro in November, and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality/price ratio was average to high.

26/02/2026: Wonderful atmosphere The terrible treatment If you want to eat a sandwich that's described on the receipt as a small loaf of bread, but it's actually a small focaccia If you don't want to be served a beer before the sandwich, which arrives from elsewhere and which they decide should be brought with the focaccia (according to the cashier) If you want to see people sit after you because they've decided to use the restaurant, and not just order a sandwich, and see them set with placemats by two waiters, one of whom is holding a bottle of water, given immediately, not with the first course. If you want to hear a waiter say, "No, not at this time." It was 3 PM and I asked for two chips to munch on with a beer, which I would have finished given the heat and ordered another. So, if you want all this—being treated like a second-class customer just because you're not hungry and don't order linguine allo scoglio—come here and you'll feel right at home, you second-class person. Let's not talk about the cashier, I'll draw a veil over that. Obviously, I'm not discussing the food except for the sandwich. But they also forced me to pay first, while everyone who eats using the restaurant pays afterward, like in any other respectable place. What a horrible place in terms of management. Anyway, a focaccia and a beer cost 11.50 to be treated like that. Never again. Oh, I forgot, I paid for the service, but if you made me eat on a dirty table, what's more

16/02/2026: Beautiful scenery. The spaghetti with clams and bottarga and the mixed fried fish were both delicious. I recommend them.

25/02/2026: A fantastic, unassuming spot. We were drawn in by the smells of grilled fish and squid. It was amazing! The pizza was good too. Thin crust! There were also some Sardinian workers sitting at the table for their lunch break. That's usually a good sign. It means the food is good, the portions are generous, and it's not a tourist trap. To date, it's the best meal I've had during my trip, along with a small fisherman's restaurant in Aranci. In short, I highly recommend it. And I recommend Sardinia off-season...

01/01/2026: I was in the area for work and went to "da Silvio" before Christmas. The place is very cute, it feels like being in a living room at home. The owner is there, he puts his face forward, and he sits down with you at the table to recommend the specials of the day and to create a customer/vendor connection (excellent technique). The food is good (I only had a first course with sea bream ragù). The staff is very attentive, friendly, and professional. Prices are fair/affordable.

01/01/2026: The rooms could definitely use a makeover. The bathroom lacks a bidet; there's a "shower" that only produces cold water. The soundproofing is terrible. The mattresses look like they're on the brink of their lifespan and definitely need replacing. The pillows, too. There was a nauseating smell, probably from the sewer system; we made sure to air out the room and keep the bathroom door closed. Undoubtedly, one of the pros is the location, surrounded by nature. The New Year's Eve buffet dinner was quite disappointing due to poor timing. The food was good, of course, but practically everything was put on the counter at once, and by 10 pm we were twiddling our thumbs and nibbling on cold dishes. The desserts arrived, appropriately, later. There was "entertainment" that was definitely and only suitable for a certain age group. Another pro: the friendly waitresses.
