07/06/2026: I returned to Marco's after last year, and the memory of our last dinner was confirmed, if not improved! Special mention goes to the mussel soup and the linguine with clams and bottarga, but especially to Nadia, who knows how to transform her work into passion and kindness.

06/06/2026: If my tuna had been seasoned properly, it would have been perfect; as it was, it was bland and a bit too raw for my liking. My husband's appetizer, truffle-filled pasta pockets, was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful.
02/06/2026: Really lovely setting with great staff who were attentive but not hovering. Food was fantastic with an amazing carbonara and a very light tiramisu. We had a main course each, a bottle of wine, a dessert each and finished off with a coffee each - total bill was €95 which was well priced for the quality of food served.

23/07/2026: We went for dinner because a man playing music in the street across the street caught our attention (I don't think it was live music from the restaurant). We ordered a pizza, and having lived in Italy, it was one of the worst I've ever had there. The arugula was wilted... In short, I absolutely do not recommend it. We thought it would be one of those "pure" neighborhood restaurants, those hidden gems, but it was nothing short of a rough find.
21/07/2026: I specifically asked the waiter about the size of the lasagna portion. He replied that it was good and gestured for it to be large. It was the smallest lasagna I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot. The price was high for the portion size, and the lasagna itself was of acceptable quality, nothing special.

19/07/2026: The staff were friendly, but the place was a bit neglected, in keeping with the rest of the peninsula, which, despite its beauty, failed to capture the attention of tourists. A real shame.
05/07/2026: Truly an "old-fashioned" place, where substance is what counts!
A trattoria where you eat excellent fish and the staff is very friendly and helpful...it feels like home!

01/01/2026: The rooms could definitely use a makeover. The bathroom lacks a bidet; there's a "shower" that only produces cold water. The soundproofing is terrible. The mattresses look like they're on the brink of their lifespan and definitely need replacing. The pillows, too. There was a nauseating smell, probably from the sewer system; we made sure to air out the room and keep the bathroom door closed.
Undoubtedly, one of the pros is the location, surrounded by nature.
The New Year's Eve buffet dinner was quite disappointing due to poor timing. The food was good, of course, but practically everything was put on the counter at once, and by 10 pm we were twiddling our thumbs and nibbling on cold dishes. The desserts arrived, appropriately, later. There was "entertainment" that was definitely and only suitable for a certain age group.
Another pro: the friendly waitresses.

09/02/2026: Unfortunately, I've noticed a significant price increase, averaging around €4 per dish. First courses cost almost €19, compared to €14 last year. The same goes for second courses. I honestly don't think such a drastic increase is justified. Yesterday, two first courses and five fried dishes cost €200. I'm sorry, but I'll be looking for quality elsewhere.

06/08/2026: The place was completely empty, there were two of us and we were turned away extremely rudely after we simply asked if there was a table for two available. The €12 per person cover charge is also outrageous.
04/08/2026: This is a top class restaurant where you will enjoy the sea food made with love. Cooks demonstrate an outstanding art of cooking and all your tastebuds will be satisfied. Waitresses and waitress are very kind and highly professional. This is a restaurant where James Bond would take his Bondgirl to trigger the passion.

22/05/2026: The hotel is well-located and central, yet we were able to park on the street every day without any problems. It's nicely renovated and comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant because we went on a day trip to the beautiful beaches of Sardinia. We would definitely return.
22/05/2026: The central location is excellent for the feast of Sant'Egidio on May 1st.
The breakfast isn't the best, it's standard. But the staff is always helpful. The rooms aren't bad, a little dated but comfortable. Antique in the beautiful sense.
In any case, there are some valuable collectibles. Kudos to the owner for that.

10/08/2026: We went to this restaurant in a group of four, choosing it primarily for its boat-style setting and its seafood menu. I ordered the seafood linguine, which was very good—too much oil and garlic, for sure, but good. The other three people in the group ordered three fried dishes. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to show how meager the portions were for these fried dishes, which cost €28 and €25 (you can find them in other reviews). Obviously, I'm not complaining about the price itself, but about the portions, which were truly a joke. Not to mention the service wasn't even that bad. We arrived at the restaurant, they took us up to our table, and the waitress, even after climbing the stairs, didn't even point to our table from afar. She threw the menus on the table with absurd indifference, and a waitress, passing behind one of our chairs, repeatedly pushed the chair until she couldn't get past, without even asking "excuse me" or "excuse me." I've never seen such terrible waiter behavior, not even in the simplest places. We couldn't wait to leave.
As an Italian, I feel ashamed for you for making foreigners feel this way.
I advise you not to go there if you want to eat and leave feeling full and relaxed. It's a shame, because if you improved the service and portions, it would certainly be a magnificent place, with such a view of the harbor.
