Correct and tasty dishes inspired by the Senegalese tradition that alternate over the days of the week, right quantities that leave you satisfied, clean, simple and informal environment, friendly owners, excellent quality/cost ratio. A small gastronomic pearl in the heart of Cagliari.

Nice typical place, well furnished, welcoming and warm. The owner and his wife are really helpful and excellent advisors. They also build a satisfying and balanced vegetarian dish on request. The meat sauce dish is ordered with couscous but is also available with rice. The spiciness of the sauce is excellent, not excessive but consistent, the food is simple but very fresh. The price is amazing, especially with the dessert added. Really recommended.

Una cucina differente, alternativa ottima per chi è curioso e aperto verso le cucine straniere. Il ristorante è unico a Cagliari. I prezzi sono assolutamente coerenti con quello che ti offrono e con la qualità. Alternative vegane e vegetariane presenti.

Spectacular food and welcoming staff, the only place in Cagliari where you can eat African cuisine done well. Every time I go back the food always surprises me, really really good.

Excellent Senegalese gastronomy, offering typical dishes with unusual flavors but not too distant from Mediterranean ones; contrary to what many might think, spiciness does not represent an obstacle, so much so that many dishes come out of the kitchen not spicy. The dishes generally consist of: rice/couscous, a protein which can be beef, chicken or fish and vegetables; the portions are PLENTY (at indecent prices considering how low they are). We tasted the mafè and the Ceebu djen, respectively one dish based on beef and the other based on fish (we asked for the spicy one in addition although the Ceebu djen comes with slightly spicy rice), both excellent, perfectly cooked , tasty couscous and not overcooked rice, melting meat and soft, juicy fish; like other dishes we tried the fried plantain (objectively good but not very tasty, obviously personal tastes) and the typical Senegalese cream puffs (fried balls of dough, bready on the inside and crunchy on the outside with a nice boost of nutmeg). Let's move on to the place, the menu and the owners: the place appears small, after all it is a delicatessen not a restaurant, there are 4/5 tables where you can sit and enjoy the dishes on offer (positive note: although there are some fried dishes in the there isn't a hint of fried smell in the place); the menu is structured according to the days of the week: every day some of the dishes on the menu are offered (so be careful because it is not certain that the dishes chosen will be there that day), the prices of the main dishes are around 8 euros (a negligible figure per portion), the rolls are 1.20 euros each and the classic cream puffs are 1.00 euros each. We were not charged for the cover charge so I assume that it is included in the price of the dish. The owners are very nice, very cheerful and joking, the environment is both homely and friendly. As repeated several times, the prices are negligible for the quantity and goodness of the food served, 8 euros for a large plate of couscous generously seasoned with beef stew is a godsend; total for lunch counting: a first course €8 a portion of fried plantains €3 a normal cream puff €1 a honey and coconut cream puff €1.20 €13.20 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Excellent food, stew is exceptional, but if you deviate from the proposed dishes by composing with various products the resulting dish is poor and expensive. A plate of rice + couscous + meat + vegetables = 15 eu. Excellent, but I advise against changes to the proposals. 5 star food though.
