07/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Su Lizu. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and welcoming – you immediately feel at ease and welcome. The pizzas were excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. The desserts afterward were also delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. We simply felt completely happy here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

15/11/2025: Capo Comino beach is one of the many pristine spots in Sardinia that I absolutely recommend visiting, even in summer. It's a fairly private spot, the preserve of few tourists. There's enough space on the beach for everyone, except for the entrances, which get crowded.
19/10/2025: Very large beach characterized by the famous talcum powder white sand dunes...the sea is obviously transparent with shades of various colors...spacious so I don't think it's ever very crowded!!!!! Worth it!!!!

04/06/2026: After trying other restaurants in Sardinia, even in popular tourist destinations with high prices but poor quality, I find this one very pleasant and the cuisine truly exquisite, at affordable prices. I highly recommend it.
01/06/2026: Recommended by the Touring Club guide, but it doesn't live up to expectations. Overpriced considering the location. They constantly offer you little house specials, but then charge between €16.50 and €18.50 for a first course. The house wine is bad.

18/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Agriturismo Da Valore! We were their guests for Easter Monday lunch. We received a wonderful welcome, and the food was excellent, with generous portions. The day was warm and sunny, and our little girl enjoyed the slide and swings in the courtyard. They were courteous and helpful from the first phone call, providing us with all the details about the menu. A few days before lunch, we received a message with some suggestions for places to visit in Austis and the surrounding area, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks again, and keep up the good work! ❤️
08/04/2026: For Easter Monday, we booked a table for four, with a deposit of €20 per person. When we arrived, aperitifs were scheduled for 12:30. Other customers pointed us to a place on the lower level, from where we parked. A large, bare room, without chairs, with a table and a counter. They told us the non-alcoholic aperitifs were sold out, and offered us a diluted Aperol, which was actually just a few drops of Aperol and a glass of water. Aperitifs were over. At 1:00 PM, we were able to enter and sit down. Friendly and quick waitresses brought drinks and appetizers. Everything seemed to be working fine, but after an hour, at 1:00 PM, the appetizers still hadn't appeared. We waited, and they were starting to arrive; our turn came at 2:15. The two first courses were Sardinian gnocchi and ravioli, both delicious and plentiful. We warmed up and waited for side dishes and main courses. At 3:10 PM, neither appeared. At 3:25 PM, a few pieces of pork arrive, perhaps too large, at least in my opinion, along with a few pieces of goat, a small plate with four radishes, a carrot cut into five or six pieces, and fennel. Dessert starts at 4:30 PM. We ask for coffee. We settle the bill at €35 per person, having previously paid €20 by bank transfer. When we complain about the timing, the owner tells us that it's Easter Monday, after all. We leave, agreeing that we've had other Easter lunches, eaten better, in less time, spent less, and enjoyed a less noisy setting where we could still talk and hear each other. Austin and its surroundings are very beautiful and worth a visit; for dining, in my opinion, you can find better. Perhaps we arrived on the restaurant's off-day. We'll never know.

If you're looking for a tasty pizza that won't leave you feeling like a brick in your stomach all night, this is the place. I was truly impressed by the quality of the dough: incredibly light and highly digestible, a sign of proper leavening.
Even after finishing the entire generously sized pizza, you feel full but light.
A special mention goes to the staff. They were extremely helpful and courteous. I'll definitely be back very soon!

11/06/2026: We had a pizza and a burger there, both were delicious. The server spoke German, which made things much easier. We thought it was a nice touch that she offered us a seat in front of the TV later that week when Germany was playing :-)

13/10/2025: The food was really delicious, the starter was shrimp with ground. The puree was amazing, the fish was excellent, fresh, juicy, full of flavour, the dessert was crispy and fragrant seadas, I recommend it.
Only the table outside was crooked and the waiter was a bit in no mood, otherwise I recommend it 👍
10/10/2025: We had a birthday celebration. Had some nice fresh raw seafood. Tagliata was too raw even though my wife asked for medium. Frito misto had some part that were unedible like prawn heads.
They ran out of regular Coca Cola.
The waitress was very kind and the ambient was excellent.

It's very special for those who try it for the first time.
The dough is very thin and crispy, but it's a bit floury.
Classic flavors, the ingredients are added raw.
If you like pesto, I recommend the Carlofortina, which is very balanced.

02/06/2026: If you're looking for an up-close experience with the workings of your immune system, "Il Capriccio" is the place for you. For everyone else: escape while you can.
I just wanted an arancini and a spit-roasted chicken; I left with a psychological trauma.
The Food: Weapons of Mass Destruction
The Arancino/Supplì: It had the consistency and specific weight of a cobblestone leftover from the roadworks of '98. The rice inside was so compact that I think it was used as structural material to hold up the counter. The "stringy heart" was a subversive myth: there was only a piece of fossilized cheese that actively resisted chewing.
The Spit-Roasted Chicken: I think that chicken died of old age and was forgotten in the oven since the first lockdown. It was so dry that, when I cut into it, it raised a cloud of dust. Practically an Egyptian mummy, but with less flavor.
The Atmosphere and Service
The air inside was a lethal mix of reheated fried food and desperation. The heat emanating from the display cases—which I imagine contain food dating back to the Ming Dynasty—was comparable to that of the Earth's core.
The staff welcomes you with the enthusiasm of someone serving a life sentence. When I asked if the croquettes were fresh, the fryer stared at me in silence for thirty seconds, let out a sigh that smelled of used oil, and turned his head. I take that as a "no."
The Verdict
Calling it "The Capriccio" is an insult to caprices. Caprices are fleeting desires; this place is a long-term sentence for your liver.
Note to management: Change the fryer oil. I'm not saying every day, but at least once a pontificate.
Not recommended for: Humans, pets, and carbon-based life forms.
