The chef comes from a family of culinary professionals, so it’s no surprise that the quality and flavors are exceptional. We had the chance to try one of their specialty dishes—spaghettoni with shrimp tartare and shredded truffle—and it was absolutely divine! The combination of fresh seafood, rich truffle, and perfectly cooked pasta made for an unforgettable meal. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as this place is definitely worth it!

02/02/2025: We were the only guests. Beforehand we took anchovies and zucchini flowers. Tasty. As a main course lasagna and risotto with seafood. Both have no special taste. Served just hot enough. A disappointment as far as we are concerned.

17/01/2025: Yummy lunch! They have vegan menu separatelly🥳Never had courgette flower fritters but it was right selection, and...Spaghetti with pistachios!! Vegan but so richness in pistachio cream, perfect combination with cherry tomatoes😌Staff also has calm and balanced environment, will drop by when we return to Gallipoli!

06/01/2025: We noticed this place on 1/1/25, we were doubtful but we were super satisfied. Puccia with light and not heavy dough, excellent and welcoming service. We will be back!!

09/02/2025: Having gone there on a Saturday, perhaps we were a little unlucky: the environment was a bit noisy with limited spaces and the service was slow but I must say that we really appreciated the variety of the menu and the pizza dough! We will definitely be back in the middle of the week!

15/03/2025: A wonderful evening with fantastic food! We had the pleasure of having dinner at Il Palazzo yesterday and absolutely loved it! The raw seafood was of outstanding quality – incredibly fresh and really tasty. The other dishes were great too, with honest, quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The warm service is particularly noteworthy. Although we hardly speak Italian (almost not at all 😅), we were welcomed with great friendliness and looked after attentively. The team creates an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome. If you want to enjoy great food in a pleasant, informal environment in Salento, you should definitely visit Il Palazzo and its friendly team. Thank you very much – we will definitely come back!

14/03/2025: I booked the catering service for my daughter's birthday, nothing to say about the quality of the food but we were just not there with the service. Both meat and fish dishes were missing from the chosen menu but with the confusion I didn't notice that the same evening, when I called the next day to point it out I was told that these are things that can happen. A reach can happen not 4. Sin. The food is excellent, but the service definitely needs to be reviewed.

05/03/2025: Ho prenotato il servizio catering per il compleanno di mia figlia, nulla da dire sulla qualità del cibo ma con il servizio non ci siamo proprio. Dal menù scelto mancavano 3 portate (due di pesce e una di carne) con la confusione non ci ho fatto caso la sera stessa, quando il giorno dopo ho chiamato per farlo presente mi è stato detto che sono cose che possono capitare. Peccato.
