What to say ? Ugo and his staff are fantastic people. Food, puccie, focaccia, sandwiches with pieces and pizzas are their highlights. I highly recommend it.

It is a small place in the historic center of Tricase (Lecce) Where you can buy rice balls and delicious pizzas along with many other unique appetizers prepared by Skilled hands of two women experts in Salento cuisine. The place is called "LE STRITTULE"

Having just arrived from Buffalo NY, my hosts walked me by this place on my first night in Tricase. I was struck by its stunning courtyard and vibe, and the food looked fantastic. I immediately returned solo the following evening and was warmly greeted by the crew behind the counter. They were friendly and kind, and patient with my poor Italian language skills (Sono qui in parte per migliorare nel parlare e comprendere l'italiano!). I ordered a pizza quattro stagione and a local Ichnuso unfiltered beer, sat in the courtyard and waited. What appeared was quite frankly the best pizza I have ever had. I’ve had pizza all over Italy and elsewhere (the world's perfect food?). I’m still thinking about it. So now what do I do? They’re closed on Wednesday and I’m stuck!😂 oh well I’ll be back tomorrow to sample all the other amazing things on their menu and sit in that awesome space once again, laughing at how good it is. Everyone in Tricase knows about Le Strittule for good reason and now you know. What are you waiting for? Mangiare!

The best street food in Tricase. Everything is always delicious and prepared on the same day. The stuffed cereal slices, the pieces of horse meat and even the pizza are excellent. The owners are fantastic and available to accommodate every request. Highly recommended if you want a slice of pitta to eat on the fly or want to stop in their room. And then I'm in the historic center of Tricase in a very suggestive place!

È tutto sempre buonissimo e preparato in giornata. Ottimi i tranci ai cereali farciti, i pezzetti di cavallo e anche la pizza. I proprietari sono fantastici e disponibili ad assecondare ogni richiesta. Consigliatissimo se avete voglia di un trancio di pitta da mangiare al volo o volete fermarvi nella loro saletta. E poi sono in pieno centro storico a Tricase in un posto molto suggestivo

Bel posto, per il cibo e perché si trova nel centro storico in una della vie caratteristiche. Da asporto o da consumare sul posto, dalla ottima pizza a varie focacce o stuzzicherie. Lo consiglio 👍
