09/02/2026: We went to this really cute little place for lunch on a Saturday. The menu is definitely unique and interesting. The menu features a lot of meat. We had a truly excellent first course, linguine with lemon calamari, and a second course of meat, pork ribs with a sauce, equally delicious. As a welcome, they served a wine, vegetables (excellent!), focaccia barese, and fried bread. Perhaps a little too much bread. The atmosphere is truly refined, yet rustic. I just felt the welcome was a little sterile. I would gladly return!

17/01/2026: Truly a magnificent place in the pure countryside, with meticulously maintained interiors. My only regret is that, going in the evening, I couldn't admire all the surrounding beauty in daylight. Although on a beautiful winter evening, the countryside has a sacred charm. A prestigious wine cellar with excellent local wines. The cuisine: excellent from the first course to the last. The textures of the food, the balance of flavors, all the result of an undoubtedly expert hand. The staff is generally professional and highly trained, without being invasive. One of the few places where you can enjoy unusual yet genuine dishes, in a refined yet authentic setting. We will definitely return.

02/12/2025: The best dinner I've had in Castro. A decidedly superior level and a different offering than usual. The appetizer mix was EXTRATERRESTRIAL: when I show photos of dishes I've eaten in Puglia, I almost always choose these. Innovative venue, elegant and clean service. The manager is knowledgeable, welcoming, and guided us with professionalism and a smile throughout. Prices in line with the quality of the experience. If I were to return to Castro, I would definitely come back here.

28/12/2025: Restaurant located in a quaint Salento village. A family atmosphere, very pleasant decor with stunning paintings. Friendly and attentive service. Excellent menu, ranging from meat to fish. Excellent raw fish as well. I'm not from Salento, but a local fisherman friend recommended it to me, assuring me the fish is incredibly fresh. I highly recommend it.

02/04/2026: I visited Daiki Japanese Restaurant in Lecce and it was a truly excellent experience. The restaurant is well-kept, welcoming, and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The food is top-quality: incredibly fresh sushi, beautifully presented dishes, and authentic flavors that come through in every bite. Special thanks go to Roberta, the waitress, whose kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness made the evening even more enjoyable. Always smiling, helpful, and very attentive to the customer. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine and wants a truly enjoyable experience in Lecce. I will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

06/11/2025: Without a doubt, the WORST restaurant experience of my life, so bad I thought I was being filmed. The pizza maker (bald and tattooed, so he'd recognize himself) gave us a terrible welcome: no friendliness whatsoever, a curt tone, and not a smile—too busy serving himself and eating slices of cheese from the topping tray. But the worst part was that while he was preparing our pizzas, my little girl pointed out that he was coughing into his hands, on the fresh dough and the toppings. When I pointed it out to him, he said he'd washed his hands and was going to remake our pizzas, which obviously he didn't do because I kept a close eye on him. So we left our pizzas on the table untouched and left angry and hungry. A week later, I'm still shocked by this lack of hygiene and respect for customers.

17/10/2025: A very friendly little village restaurant run by a very pleasant and kind gentleman. The pizzas are very good and inexpensive. At least one restaurant is open off-season in this region where everything seems deserted by October!

09/12/2025: The atmosphere is small but welcoming, and the menu is unique but uses top-quality ingredients. The first time we ordered a house appetizer, excellent enough for two people, and two main courses. We had the tuna steak and the mixed grill, both excellent and plentiful. The second evening, we again had a starter, but with two first courses. The average cost for two people, including water, wine, and two coffees, was about €45.00. Highly recommended.
