09/02/2026: We went to this really cute little place for lunch on a Saturday. The menu is definitely unique and interesting. The menu features a lot of meat. We had a truly excellent first course, linguine with lemon calamari, and a second course of meat, pork ribs with a sauce, equally delicious. As a welcome, they served a wine, vegetables (excellent!), focaccia barese, and fried bread. Perhaps a little too much bread. The atmosphere is truly refined, yet rustic. I just felt the welcome was a little sterile. I would gladly return!

17/01/2026: Truly a magnificent place in the pure countryside, with meticulously maintained interiors. My only regret is that, going in the evening, I couldn't admire all the surrounding beauty in daylight. Although on a beautiful winter evening, the countryside has a sacred charm. A prestigious wine cellar with excellent local wines. The cuisine: excellent from the first course to the last. The textures of the food, the balance of flavors, all the result of an undoubtedly expert hand. The staff is generally professional and highly trained, without being invasive. One of the few places where you can enjoy unusual yet genuine dishes, in a refined yet authentic setting. We will definitely return.

30/06/2026: Disappointing: it wasn't a Capricciosa and the dough left much to be desired. ​We got a takeout pizza from this pizzeria, ordering, among other things, a Capricciosa. To call it that is an understatement: it was missing practically all the classic ingredients. Instead, there were an excessive amount of capers, scamorza instead of mozzarella, and just one or two mushrooms and artichokes. In addition to the completely incorrect toppings, the quality of the dough also left much to be desired. Unfortunately, it's just not there. I wouldn't recommend it.

16/06/2026: For my main course, I ordered spaghettoni with Negroamaro wine (a red wine from Puglia), tuna, and caramelized tomato. For dessert, I had milk chocolate ice cream with poached pear and lemon crumble, and a crunchy chocolate semifreddo with caramelized orange. To accompany it, I chose a rosé di Primitivo from the San Marzano winery. Everything was wonderful, and the service was excellent. The place has a beautiful view of the sea in Otranto, and the background music perfectly complements the relaxed, beachy atmosphere.

11/06/2026: Worst meal in the whole trip. I’ve ordered the seafood skillet and at first they brought the skilled with two baby langoustines and around five small fishes which when eating you’ll experience only the fish bones that you have to pick out and zero taste. After saying that the meal was supposed to include mussels, squid and shrimps they took it back brought the dish back submerged in watery sauce. The seafood seemed not fresh but rather out of freezer - the squid was just a gooey inedible mass. Overall the dish was flavourless and not worth 30 Euros. Giving it two stars as angus steak was ok. Service appointed as three starts because the wait for food in almost empty restaurant was about an hour which is long for this type of meal and Italian speaking customers that arrived after us got their food faster.

09/06/2026: An experience to forget – Terrible service ​Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was decidedly negative. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was terrible: the staff immediately appeared rude and unprofessional. ​We ordered simple pizzas, but we had to wait a good hour and a half for them. This was an unacceptable wait time, considering the simplicity of the dish. In addition to the excruciatingly slow service, the waiters were rude and inattentive to the customers' needs. ​I will definitely not return, and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

19/09/2025: We've been a couple of times and ordered the Salentina pizza because we really liked it. The first and second courses looked great too.

12/09/2025: The Pizzeria Rialto in Torre Suda is truly a hit. You immediately feel welcome. The staff is friendly, attentive, and courteous. Here, you sit among locals, which makes the atmosphere wonderfully authentic. The food is also impressive: The pizza is exactly as you would expect – traditional. Excellent value for money. If you're looking for a pizzeria with a genuine, local flair, this is the place to be. A local's recommendation hit the nail on the head: "Best pizza in town."

12/06/2026: Just had dinner with my wife. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

28/05/2026: A beautiful little place surrounded by nature, a simple rural structure but meticulously cared for in every detail. The poultry and the friendly, sweet donkeys enrich the atmosphere of times gone by. We kneaded bread and baked it in the wood-fired oven, a wonderful experience of returning to authentic life. Congratulations to Mrs. Irene.

09/01/2026: We were there in February. Great atmosphere, fantastic vibe, and amazing food. The price was perfectly reasonable for the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back.

12/04/2026: I came with my husband with the intention of having ice cream after our meal, along with a nice little coffee. And honestly, I'm almost disappointed I didn't go more often! 🤭 Seriously, it was simply wonderful, the best ice cream I had during my entire stay. We chose (and were recommended 😉) hazelnut, pistachio, tiramisu, and Kinder. The pistachio, in my opinion, was the best; it was incredibly delicious, with such a true and authentic flavor. And on top of that, the portions are generous—that's the icing on the cake! 🍰🍒👌 I highly recommend going!

10/04/2026: We stopped for lunch and had pasta - a large enough portion, well seasoned, a little too oily for my taste. For dessert we tried tiramisu, which didn't appeal to us much, it felt more like ice cream. The atmosphere was a bit disturbed by the renovation of the building next door, but once the work is finished, I believe it will be a wonderful experience to sit in this cafe.

07/06/2026: We had a wonderful day. The pool was easy to access and the hot tub was fantastic. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, with excellent service and very kind owners. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely be back.

05/06/2026: We stayed here for 8 nights. It is primarily geared towards motorhomes, but we were able to park our folding caravan there because we didn't need to hammer many pegs into the ground. The family is very hospitable and helpful. We had delicious dinners twice in the evening. There are plenty of spots on the grounds to sit in the shade or in the sun. There is now much more greenery on the campsite than can be seen in the old photos. We found it a nice place to explore the south of Puglia. Cycling to Lecce is very doable, even if you don't have an electric bike (only one tricky little hill). There is a small supermarket in San Pietro and a somewhat larger one in Monterino (both within cycling distance).

26/05/2026: Horse meat is a local favourite so you have to be very careful when ordering from the menu; google translate is a must if you have limited Italian, as we weren't offered an English menu. Service varied, we had a waitress who was pretty dismissive of our attempts to order in Italian but we were thankfully passed on to the manager who was much more helpful and friendly. Food was ok but expensive and certainly nothing to write home about. Overall, one to swerve if you are English speaking and want a warm welcome.

07/05/2026: I went to this restaurant with a group of colleagues. The food was excellent and refined, with seafood and meat dishes presented with imagination and originality. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

12/11/2025: A beautiful spot to spend the night with your campervan. A lovely walk through the fruit trees to the well-maintained, clean restrooms. We had visited Lecce the day before.

09/11/2025: We arrived in a camper for a fuel stop. But the place and the owner were so welcoming that we stayed an extra day. Highly recommended ❤️
