04/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at the Bellavista Restaurant in Tricase, and the experience was simply excellent. The location is stunning, with a breathtaking view that creates a relaxing and romantic atmosphere, perfect for couples or friends.
The real highlight, however, was the food, especially the fried squid from Leuca: absolutely extraordinary. The squid were incredibly fresh, tender, and flavorful, fried to perfection with a light, crispy coating that wasn't greasy at all. A balanced dish, delicate yet rich in flavor, among the best fried seafood I've ever eaten.
The service was also excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, always available but never intrusive. The wine list was good, and the prices were appropriate for the quality of the dishes and the location.
I highly recommend the Bellavista Restaurant to anyone who wants to eat high-quality seafood and enjoy a special evening with a wonderful view. I will definitely return, especially to try the fantastic fried squid from Leuca.

01/03/2026: A charming little pizzeria tucked away on a street corner, the pizzas are delicious and inexpensive, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it! They have a separate dining area where you can eat indoors, as well as a small terrace. A truly local and family-run atmosphere – a real gem.

28/03/2026: Wonderful location, and in the summer the outdoor garden will be top-notch. A restored old oil mill with star vaults in the historic center of Specchia... a pizzeria that has truly come back to greatness (varied pizza menu and plenty of choice) for the quality of the products, the atmosphere, the expertise, the attention to detail, the professionalism, the cleanliness... well done, well done!!! Delicious pizza, it's a pleasure to watch the pizza chefs at work... the wait times are just right for a Friday, there's communication and collaboration between the staff in the dining room, the kitchen, and the pizzeria. Kindness, customer care, fair bill. Good work, guys!!

11/02/2026: The waiter comes to the table and rudely confronts me after pointing out that a very simple first course (pasta) arrived almost an hour after ordering, in a very sparsely crowded restaurant (on a Wednesday evening). The fish and chips appetizer we ordered (€27) was devoured in 5 minutes, and the wait for the first course was 48 minutes, as stated by the same waiter to whom I mentioned our inconvenience (he was desperate to be right). Does this seem normal to you? We're not talking about a risotto with special creaminess and long cooking times, but a very simple first course, quite mediocre, I must say, especially the cacio e pepe with prawns; the ciceri e tria was definitely more decent. From the heated discussion that ensued at the table, in the presence of other customers who also received their dishes very late, as they themselves stated, they consider it perfectly normal for the dish to be served at the table so long after ordering. Considering the discreet atmosphere and the price of each dish, I don't think such unnerving wait times are normal, much less the staff's rude response to our disappointment. We've also noticed that they're very good at not caring and just running the cashier as if nothing was wrong! 👏
09/10/2025: An excellent experience. The fish was incredibly fresh and carefully prepared: the first course was balanced in flavor, the second course beautifully presented and rich in flavor. The glass of white wine, perfectly paired, enhanced each course. The service was attentive yet discreet, and the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. A restaurant that showcases the quality of its ingredients without being overbearing, ideal for a pleasant and relaxed dinner.

10/04/2026: A Neapolitan pizza in Salento? A' Verace in Tricase (LE) is definitely an excellent choice. I'm not Neapolitan by birth, but by adoption. Therefore, I can boldly say that the pizza at A' Verace pizzeria is very close to the taste of the authentic Neapolitan pizza you can eat in Naples (though not at all pizzerias!). The wait staff isn't very experienced, but on a Saturday night, as you know, the people serving you might not be the best. However, they're all very friendly, and that makes up for their lack of experience.

13/04/2025: Pizza ottima, come l' hamburger unica pecca, e purtroppo lo devo sottolineare, al mondo esistono persone che escono a mangiare fuori con dei bimbi piccoli 1,2,3 anni che se c'è un'emergenza di cambio pannolino, vanno in bagno con la speranza di trovare un fasciatoio, ma purtroppo neanche l'ombra. Bisogna capire che a mangiare fuori non escono solo coppiette o persone senza figli piccoli ma anche genitori con bambini di 2 anni che se hanno un'emergenza di cambiare il pannolino perché hanno fatto la popò, immaginano di trovare almeno un fasciatoio... Quindi chiedo al locale di attrezzarsi perché penso.che come noi anche altri genitori vanno con bimbi piccolini.
13/01/2025: Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per le 21,30 di un sabato. Il tavolo era disponibile in un sottoscala e vabbè. La cameriera viene subito a prendere l'ordine per 3 pizze e ci avvisa che ci sarebbe stato un pochino da aspettare e allora ordiniamo anche un piatto di patatine e 3 birre per ingannare l'attesa (pensando che invece dei 15/20 minuti ce ne sarebbero voluti 30/40). L'attesa si fa un poò troppo lunga e dopo un ora di attesa vado a chiedere notizie. Mi dicono che le pizze stanno per arrivare. Va bene..... alle 22,50 (quindi dopo 1 ora e venti di attesa) vado nuovamente a chiedere che fine avessero fatto 3 pizze (mergherita.....niente di pazzesco) e mi dicono che vanno a controllare. Alle 23,00 dopo un ora e trenta mi dicono che stanno per essere infornate..............Ce ne siamo andati senza cena e chiaramente PAGANDO quanto consumato e senza scuse.
Ci dicono che c'era un compleanno e i tempi si erano allungati un po'.
Se non siete in grado di servire normalmente la clientela accoglietene di meno e fate più bella figura.

28/08/2024: Il locale è piccolino con una vista mare stupenda,piatti buoni con prezzi giusti,il servizio dovrebbe migliore perché sono molto distratti e a volte devi ripetere le cose più volte
20/08/2024: Ci fermiamo per un pranzo veloce post escursione. Il posto è a dir poco incantevole per la visuale che ti offre. Servizio cordiale e disponibile anche se non tutti sorridenti. Assaggiamo una tipica puccia salentina ed un'insalatona, entrambe buone e abbondanti. Prezzi nella norma. Consigliato per una sosta veloce e non solo.
