03/05/2026: Quality, flavor, and hospitality—among the hallmarks of the "Al Bel Paese" restaurant, combined with Chef Vito's creativity and the fresh catch of the day from Mola di Bari—made for a pleasant and engaging culinary experience. Excellent service from friendly and professional staff. The price was fair. We'll be back with pleasure and curiosity.

02/05/2026: Quality products, the chef demonstrates the passion he puts into his work. Attentive service, good raw seafood, shame about the sea bream carpaccio... the orange completely covered the flavor of the fish. Homemade tagliolini were good, but the flavor of the scorpion fish was missing from the sauce... the cherry tomato prevailed. We will definitely be back to try other options that perhaps will convince us more.

22/03/2026: We had a perfect sixtieth birthday party. The food they served was delicious and aesthetically perfect, and we were offered seconds several times. The table service was top-notch. The location is magnificent, with meticulous attention to detail, and staff were present at the entrance to hand out umbrellas since it was raining. Highly recommended. PS. A special thanks to Stefano, always friendly and helpful.

22/03/2026: We celebrated my son's 18th birthday, a very beautiful location, they were kind and helpful right from the start, Mrs. Elena was good, kind and creative, a wide choice of dishes that I can say were excellent, well served, they stopped by several times for seconds, impeccable service, I have elderly parents and the staff was very attentive and kind, Mariano the DJ was very good and very kind, the volume of the music was not very high and we could chat, my son was very happy with the music chosen and his friends all danced, thanks to Alessandro, kind, attentive and above all for having had the photos taken with the beautiful Simba (Golden retriever) that my son wanted, thank you if we have another opportunity I would definitely return

11/04/2026: You immediately feel at ease with a sincere smile upon arrival. The place is spotlessly clean. I chose the tasting menu and was delighted with every course, from the presentation, which was explained in detail by the staff during the tasting. I asked for advice on the drinks to accompany each course, and the waiter never made a mistake in pairing them. Compliments to the entire staff.

07/01/2026: A unique place that reeks of history and serves delicious food even during siesta, when all other restaurants are closed. A big plus for that! You can sit across from it, in the stone gateway, and still soak up the history while savoring a delicious pizza crust by the pound.

07/01/2026: On the first day, access was literally blocked by a dense, cheerful Italian crowd, patiently waiting or enjoying their focaccia in a wonderful atmosphere… despite the icy wind. We gave up. The second day, exactly the same scenario. Another attempt, another failure. What's the mystery? On the third day, finally, we understood the reason for the crowds. The focaccia and the bread were simply exceptional. Of remarkable quality, they fully justified the wait: here, patience is richly rewarded.

14/06/2026: A magnificent view, absolutely lovely service, and excellent advice! We ordered the Puglia assortment with focaccia, various small salads, parmigiana, etc... Everything was truly delicious!

04/06/2026: Unfortunately our experience here was not a good one. The pasta was extremely salty (i.e. inedible). The staff was partly nice. Unfortunately we cannot say that it was a pleasant experience.

02/06/2026: Located beneath the castle walls, the restaurant with its outdoor seating is very pleasant. The staff is extremely kind and attentive, although they aren't as efficient in preparing the dishes. They don't take long, but they could certainly be improved. The dishes themselves are very good, with generous first courses. I tried a classic charcuterie and cheese platter, which was delicious; cod meatballs with an excellent pecorino and lime sauce; and troccoli with burrata cream, crispy speck, and walnuts (very good).

09/04/2026: Excellent Easter family lunch. A place to rediscover the flavors of yesteryear. Excellent service, friendly staff and owners. Recommended. A small suggestion... to better savor and enjoy the dishes, especially the appetizers... and especially on a holiday... increase the service time... an extra hour would make this excellent lunch even more complete. ☺️

20/05/2026: For us best food and service. If you look for tasty food, you dont need to fall into tourist trap in the historical center. We had breakfast every day, and dinner too. Here the italians eat. Very nice guys work here, very attentive.
