18/07/2026: A pleasant surprise! The coffee and strawberry gelato were tasty, but the Caffè Freddo was very good—refreshing and perfectly balanced, without the excessive sweetness that dominates in other cafes. The bill was also a plus, as it's reasonably priced here. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

17/07/2026: As it happened, the first time we strolled into this coffe shop, a famous local comedian also walked in for a cup of coffee. He drank espresso lungo, normal espresso served in a cup placed upon four napkin holders. It was a fun and joyful event that involved everyone who happend to be in the bar and made us fall in love with the place. The owner couple are delightful and full with passion and energy. Massimo is never stopping, like a machine and always lighting up the atmosphere. We went here every day we were in Bari and we always left with big smiles. We like to sit at the table, and it always feels like for the 5-10 minutes we spend at the bar a 100 customers go in and out. It doesn't feel rushed, it feels natural. It's amazing to just be a part of it. Coffee is great, overall experience is fantastic.

06/08/2026: It is located roughly halfway between the bus terminal and the tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly. If you order an iced Americano, they give you a separate cup with ice in it. It's about 4 euros. There is no seating charge, and the air conditioning works well. It's a great place to stop by and rest.

05/08/2026: A local trulli with a lovely interior and an even nicer garden. We ordered two salads, but although the waiter was friendly, the kitchen service was very slow (a 45-minute wait). The price was reasonable for the quantity and quality of the salads, although the water and cutlery were expensive compared to other, more expensive restaurants.

17/07/2026: Excellent restaurant with a wide range of culinary delights, some of which are unique. The pizza, fried foods, and much more are delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and air-conditioned. There's also an outdoor terrace for those who want to spend a summer evening in good company. The wine list is good, as are the beer and rum selections. Desserts and parfaits are also available. Reasonable and reasonable prices; reservations are recommended.

05/07/2026: This pizzeria has plenty going for it: a large dining room, a lovely rooftop terrace with a view of a church steeple, and the pizzas are good, with generous toppings and a light (though not very crispy) crust. Except... we waited almost two hours for ours, and that ruined everything. The restaurant is a victim of its own success. At the beginning of July, it was full, and there was a table of 15 next to us.

07/08/2026: When we arrived in Alberobello late at night, it was the only restaurant still open. We didn't eat because the restaurant was closing, but the owner reopened it especially to sell us bottles of wine. Then we went back to eat. The pizzas were excellent; I've never eaten such good pizzas with several toppings, three types of cheese, ham, etc., at that price. And the staff was very welcoming.

03/08/2026: A top-notch pizza, with truly gourmet, unexpected combinations. Even a simple ortolana becomes a feast of flavors thanks to the attention to cooking the vegetables. The vegan pizza is incredibly delicious; I hope to find more vegan options next time I return.

04/08/2026: The panzerotte were excellent, a bit small but the price was right, we ate four! However, the wait was very long. I didn't have any change, so I gave him a bill. He asked if I had a one-euro coin, I gave it to him, and he refused to give me my change. He said, "I'll give you your bill later." I replied, "Why later?" and he gave me my change, but this kind of attitude is really unacceptable. There were two older people there, but they were incredibly rude, the kind of person I've never seen before, and they were very aggressive. The service was really subpar. I was shocked.

11/04/2026: You immediately feel at ease with a sincere smile upon arrival. The place is spotlessly clean. I chose the tasting menu and was delighted with every course, from the presentation, which was explained in detail by the staff during the tasting. I asked for advice on the drinks to accompany each course, and the waiter never made a mistake in pairing them. Compliments to the entire staff.

12/07/2026: If you find yourself in Altamura I definitely recommend stopping by this ancient bakery to taste their focaccias and maybe buy some bread. There is also the possibility of getting a drink and sitting at the tables or benches in front of the bakery. We have tasted various focaccias and they are fantastic, as is the bread we bought. The prices are excellent value for money.

12/07/2026: Crazy prices for a perfectly ordinary focaccia. A tourist trap. A place that commodifies one of Southern Italy's simplest culinary traditions and objectifies women who make pasta by displaying them for the sake of some social media story from tourists who ruin our cities! This isn't Southern Italy. I'll add: since you say it's fake, I'm attaching a photo of the receipt.

04/07/2026: An intimate place where you feel right at home. The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming, and the pizzas are excellent, with a surprise dessert to finish. Excellent value. Highly recommended. The limited seating available—only four tables—made us feel privileged. Thanks again to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

06/06/2026: While vacationing in Alberobello for a few days, I chose and booked this small pizzeria ahead of time, both because of the excellent reviews and because other "popular" pizzerias in the center didn't accept reservations. And I didn't regret it at all. It's located just steps from the historic center of this charming town of Locorotondo and has very few tables. However, the immediate impact was pleasant, thanks to the warm welcome of the owner (a Milanese architect who moved south for a sense of adventure, the climate, and the landscape). His partner (or companion?), a tall, blonde, and elegant woman, took to the wood-fired oven with ease and skill (never seen anything like it!). The pizzas, in various flavors, were light and very flavorful, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. At the end, they even offered us small slices of sweet pizza and a liqueur. Their kindness was greatly appreciated. The prices are very reasonable (as per the attached receipt), especially considering the excellent quality. Highly recommended.

05/01/2026: There are restaurants where you eat well. And then there are places like Quarto Storto, where you eat and feel. We arrived there helpless, defenseless, and we left enriched. Rich in authentic flavors, sincere gestures, the kind of cuisine that doesn't need to amaze because it tastes like home. The signature dish is spaghetti all'assassina. Crispy, intense, direct. But it would be unfair to stop there, because every dish tells the same story: that of a family-run trattoria where time slows down and the heart accelerates. We were there with Elena and Pietro, sitting at an ordinary table that, for one evening, became the center of the world. Pietro tasting, Elena smiling, me believing that certain moments shouldn't be explained... they should be treasured. And then there's a detail that makes the difference, the one you don't find on the menus: it was their closing day, and yet they opened especially for us. Not out of duty. Out of kindness. For that rare form of hospitality that makes you feel awaited, not just served. From Quarto Storto, you don't just leave feeling full. You leave feeling moved. Because it reminds you that happiness is simple: a dish made just right, the right people by your side, and someone who decides to open the door... just for you. Thank you. Truly. ❤️

04/01/2026: A lovely restaurant, very comfortable and family-friendly. The owners, Dario and Amedeo, are very helpful and courteous. The food is good and authentic, typical of Puglia's cuisine. Highly recommended.

09/04/2026: Excellent Easter family lunch. A place to rediscover the flavors of yesteryear. Excellent service, friendly staff and owners. Recommended. A small suggestion... to better savor and enjoy the dishes, especially the appetizers... and especially on a holiday... increase the service time... an extra hour would make this excellent lunch even more complete. ☺️
