We visited based on an Instagram recommendation. We tried the panzerotti pomodoro, a typical street food from Puglia, and also the crocche di patate. The panzerotti is truly delicious! Despite being fried, the dough is crispy and very well-filled. Unlike many places in Bari (and elsewhere), they prepare orders on the spot, so you eat everything incredibly fresh – be careful not to burn yourself! That's why there's a queue, but it's totally worth the wait. We went two days in a row. Arriving early means a very short wait. They distribute tickets, and when yours is ready, you just go to the counter to pick it up. You can pick up your order and eat leaning against the low wall right in front, with a great view.

Depending on your preferences, you might be very happy or very unhappy. I definitely wouldn't recommend the hot dog.

A must-see on any Bari map. The wait on a Saturday evening was about 30 minutes, but it's definitely worth it. Huge selection, in my opinion, the best with the spicy salami🥰

Giant and delicious panzerotti, in a wide variety.
It's almost self-service.
The panzerotti were good. After all, who doesn't like fried dough?
That said, I found the filling quite small, at least in the tuna one. When I cut inside, it was very runny and felt like it needed more filling or a bit more substance. It's true that the mortadella and beef fillings seemed better, but I wouldn't recommend the tuna one.
One is enough, and two will leave you feeling quite full. The dough reminded me a bit of churros from Spain, with that crispy, fried texture. And be careful, they're very hot at first!
Must have, just be careful when you eat it !

The panzerotti are delicious; I tried both the classic tomato and mozzarella version and the braciola. The service was excellent, and the wait was fairly short. Plus, they're on the bastion overlooking the sea—I'll definitely be back!

Nice family place
There are always a lot of people waiting for the divine Pomodoro, but it's worth it.
They serve as quickly as possible. The owner has a kind word for everyone.
We are here for the 2nd time from Hungary, but it's a "must" program (eating) !!!
Prices are the best in years !!
