05/05/2026: We stopped for lunch with the soccer team. Excellent food, large outdoor space, and most importantly, the owner was really friendly. I'll definitely be back.

27/04/2026: Last night, some friends and I dined at Il Mulino. One of the guests has a serious food allergy. We mentioned this to the waitress and were assured it wasn't on her plate. Unfortunately, it was, and when we asked for an explanation (and had the dish brought to the kitchen, clearly showing the offending food), the cook repeatedly denied it. The owner agreed with us and was very kind, as was the wait staff, but after leaving the restaurant, my friend felt ill and fainted. Luckily, she had only been contaminated and hadn't ingested the food; otherwise, she would have died of anaphylactic shock. Allergies should never be trifled with, and the situation should never be taken lightly.

04/05/2026: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience, starting with the appetizers: The fried foods served were rubbery and cold, and the breading on the pasta frittatas was spongy and not at all crispy. The fried pizza, while good in terms of toppings, was cold and not very crispy. As for the pizzas, the photo is clear and shows a completely burned pizza, making it neither tasty nor edible. The service is lacking, especially when the waiter doesn't even know the name of the pizza he's serving, thus asking the customers for help. The price is average, but far from what one would expect for the amount spent.

The Wednesday to Sunday menu is ideal: carefully prepared and generous dishes, with prices ranging from €16 to €28, covering the entire menu, from appetizers to desserts. ​The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere in the covered outdoor area is unparalleled, thanks to one of the most evocative views of the city. The overall quality-price ratio is excellent. ​One small detail: I noticed a slight difference in the size and comfort of the seats among the various tables in the bioclimatic area; greater uniformity in this regard would make the experience truly perfect, given the restaurant's exceptional caliber. ​Overall, a highly recommended stop for those seeking quality and beauty in a unique setting.

21/04/2026: The place is nice, although the view of the city from the tables is very limited. There is a nice view from the terrace next to the elevators, but it only lasts a few minutes. The staff is excellent, but the menu is truly disappointing, both the vegetarian and Piedmontese options. I definitely expect more from a Michelin-starred restaurant because you can eat much better elsewhere for half the price.

18/10/2025: Among the labels, we also encounter the term "gourmet pizzeria," which has become quite widespread and is also applied to this establishment, which has been open for several years now. In an attempt to understand what this truly means, let's start by saying that its successor, launched by the same management on Via Stampatori, wasn't as successful and recently closed, a sign that something has gone wrong. Perhaps the location? And there's no doubt that this pizzeria, on Via Mazzini at the corner of Via Provana, is decidedly charming and exerts its full influence in attracting the devoted, radical chic clientele that regularly flocks there, who certainly don't care about the price of the bill, which is quite steep, partly due to the numerous taxes (€3 per person is decidedly excessive). The ambiance is meticulously maintained, contemporary, and sophisticated, a successful blend of exposed brick vaults, wood floors, thoughtful lighting, and effective and stylish furnishings. It manages to enhance just about everything, even pizzas, made with flours, soft or crispy dough, and quality toppings and ingredients. But it goes without saying, considering the expense, which surpasses all common sense and good taste, even the "sixth."

21/03/2026: Excellent trattoria in the Parella area. The food is good, and the service is very friendly, both at the counter and at the tables. The prices are very fair. It gets a bit crowded at lunchtime (and if you go, it's easy to see why).

08/03/2026: The pizza was inedible, pure rubber. It arrived cold, at least an hour after ordering. As an apology, they brought bruschetta with frozen tomato sauce. On a positive note, the staff was really friendly, but it wasn't enough. The place was so crowded, we couldn't even get through to use the bathroom. The kids had pizza with chips (which were also cold on the pizza). A total flop. We definitely won't be back.

07/02/2026: Excellent Neapolitan pizza, delicious sauce, and a ricotta-filled crust. A special mention goes to the desserts, especially the zeppola. Recommended, book in advance.

14/04/2026: The most honest place I know, with varied and delicious cuisine! Freshly prepared first courses, meat and fish main courses, various side dishes, focaccia, farinata, and other Ligurian delicacies. I can't do without it for my lunch breaks from work anymore!!
