16/07/2026: Wonderful experience in our second time in this beautiful restaurant in Saluzzo. The food is exquisite, so is the service. Very elegant dishes that reflect the region, extremely well-prepared. The wine list is simply amazing, too Definitely recommended, and worth changing your road to nake sure you visit and have a meal there if you are in the region.

12/07/2026: I visited Le Quattro Stagioni restaurant with my partner and a friend. The menu is captivating for the quality of the ingredients and the care with which each dish is prepared. A special mention goes to the desserts, which are simply exceptional. The service was impeccable: Roberta and Piero's professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness made our evening even more enjoyable. An experience I highly recommend.

05/05/2026: Excellent experience, we had lunch for two for €107 in total. The bill included: 2 veal with tuna sauce 1 tajarin with ragù 1 caramelized braised beef 2 desserts 1 water 1 wine (€28) 1 coffee 2 covers The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and always available. The sommelier assisted us with our wine selection, which turned out to be absolutely spot-on. The cover charge included excellent quality breadsticks and artisanal focaccia. We are completely satisfied with the service provided and believe the cost of the lunch is reasonable. Highly recommended.

05/05/2026: A quick lunch stop in Alba. Welcoming atmosphere, refined ambiance, and impeccable service. I tried the seasonal dish of gratinated asparagus with poached egg, béarnaise sauce, and white truffle—really interesting! Paired with a Nebbiolo from the Langhe (I would have recommended a sparkling wine, but unfortunately it wasn't available by the glass). Reasonably priced. Recommended, I'd definitely go back!

23/06/2026: A recent post on the Italian language website: I stopped by chance on the way and was pleasantly surprised to discover there's also a lovely outdoor courtyard. The temperature was 35°C (95°F) that day, but the courtyard was pleasantly cool. The service was very courteous and attentive, and the food and wine were truly excellent. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable. Lunch was already over, and I lingered a little longer than expected, but no one even remotely hinted that it was time to leave. 25/05/2026: This place shattered the cliché that "restaurants overlooking tourist areas are bad." We ordered Black Angus beef and pliny. A Russian salad was served as an appetizer. It was good. Our food was perfectly cooked and tasted great. They also offered complimentary dessert with our coffee. We left very satisfied. Thank you. 😊

25/05/2026: We have been visiting this restaurant at least 10 times a year for the past two years; a service charge or cover charge was never charged and was never listed on the menu. This was also the case in January, April, and on May 11, 2026. On May 16, 2026, the item "Servizio - 2 x €5" appeared on the bill prepared by the bartender for the first time. When I asked him what this was about, since it wasn't on the menu, he said that they had always charged it. This was completely untrue, and the bartender was certainly aware of this. On May 22, 2026, we were at Ape again. At the beginning, I specifically checked the menu again and told the bartender that this item wasn't on the menu and therefore he wasn't allowed to charge it. He said he would speak to the manager about it. In the end, we paid the manager, who handed us the bill without a word. It again listed "Servizio - 2 x €5." When I told him this, which I had already told the bartender, he explained that the other guests were paying it. I told him I didn't give a damn what other guests paid; that was no argument. Then he acted offended and said I was ill-mannered. Well, I was raised to treat people the way they treat me; however, I wasn't raised to lie to people and charge them unjustly. After this unpleasant incident, we won't be visiting this restaurant again, at least not as long as we encounter this manager there. It's a shame, because we've always been very satisfied otherwise, including with the other service staff. We also have no problem paying for servizio or coperto if it's listed on the menu.

24/05/2026: Traditional family-run for several generations. Homemade menu and everything exceptional. Everything, absolutely everything. It never disappoints over the years.

19/05/2026: I've tried it twice, one in the beautiful garden in the summer and one in the dining room in the winter. It's a restaurant I don't like. The food is very standard, almost like a canteen. There's no original dish worth returning for. The ragù is bland, the polenta is instant or otherwise unpleasant, and the desserts are bland. The prices aren't high, but for what they offer, they're not a bargain.
