16/06/2025: After hearing several very positive reviews about the place, I finally managed to try the delicacies of Maccheria and I can only confirm them! Very varied and interesting menu, as an appetizer I took a Margaro tartare, as a first course a generous plate of special Plin alla Carbonara and as a dessert an exquisite tiramisu. All the dishes were well prepared, with delicate flavors and genuine ingredients. The staff who welcomed us were very kind and professional. Parking is easy to find in the surrounding streets. See you next time!

16/08/2025: We heard great things but this was tough. Beautiful location, beautiful restaurant, wonderful service, great pricing in theory. The food was conceptually great, but the execution left more than a lot to be desired. While there is a heat wave, it was brutally hot on the terrace with no airflow but summer is always hot. I guess you can pray for a breeze. 5 mosquito bites in 15 minutes until they lit citronella. Great bones, no meat.

A refined place with impeccable service; we ate and drank beautifully! Special mention goes to the small Piedmontese sweet and savory fried fish, truly exceptional! 03/08/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante con un buono regalo da 100 euro e l'esperienza è stata, purtroppo, molto deludente. L'organizzazione del servizio è risultata caotica, con tempi di attesa lunghi e una gestione delle portate che ci ha lasciati perplessi. I piatti serviti non hanno soddisfatto le aspettative: porzioni minuscole e presentazione sciatta, come se mancasse la cura che ci si aspetta da un ristorante di questo livello. Il vino proposto si è rivelato di scarsa qualità e non all'altezza del costo. La nota più dolente, però, è arrivata con il conto. Nonostante il buono da 100 euro, ci è stato chiesto un supplemento di 20 euro, portando il costo complessivo a ben 60 euro a persona. Un prezzo assolutamente sproporzionato per la qualità e la quantità di ciò che ci è stato offerto. Siamo usciti dal locale con la fame, sentendoci presi in giro. Spero che questa recensione possa essere un monito per i futuri avventori e uno stimolo per il ristorante a migliorare significativamente il proprio servizio e la qualità dell'offerta!

07/08/2025: As an American living in France, I was thrilled to find somewhere that actually knows how to use a smoker! BarBees was a dream. The menu was amazing. We tried the mixed platter, the brisket, and the homemade hazelnut ice cream. It was the most beautiful marriage of American and Italian styles. You won’t regret it. Go.
