A wonderful experience. We were running late, but despite the time, they gave us a warm welcome. The meal was excellent. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Vernente.

What you see in the photo is the pub, which has nothing to do with a pizzeria. And yet, it's a great place where you can breathe in the atmosphere of a real Irish pub, they make delicious sandwiches and have excellent beers. Highly recommended.

I went to this pub on Sunday evening with a friend. It has a wide selection of sandwiches, but perhaps a little expensive: €5 and it's as big as a hot dog. If it were bigger, the price would be right, but this way it's very small. We waited really long, in fact, we were almost finished with our small beers. Strategy or slowness, I don't know. Nice place with wooden floors in the center of Vernante, parking is always available. I'll be back because the sandwiches are good.

We can totally recommend this place! We actually came twice because we liked it so much. Not only the food is amazing - but also service is absolutely lovely and you can taste that the food is made with love!

05/05/2026: A quick lunch stop in Alba. Welcoming atmosphere, refined ambiance, and impeccable service. I tried the seasonal dish of gratinated asparagus with poached egg, béarnaise sauce, and white truffle—really interesting! Paired with a Nebbiolo from the Langhe (I would have recommended a sparkling wine, but unfortunately it wasn't available by the glass). Reasonably priced. Recommended, I'd definitely go back!
05/05/2026: Excellent experience, we had lunch for two for €107 in total. The bill included: 2 veal with tuna sauce 1 tajarin with ragù 1 caramelized braised beef 2 desserts 1 water 1 wine (€28) 1 coffee 2 covers The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and always available. The sommelier assisted us with our wine selection, which turned out to be absolutely spot-on. The cover charge included excellent quality breadsticks and artisanal focaccia. We are completely satisfied with the service provided and believe the cost of the lunch is reasonable. Highly recommended.

15/06/2026: A truly excellent experience at Locanda in Cannubi. The location is simply spectacular, with a breathtaking view of the Langhe that creates a unique atmosphere. The large windows flood the rooms with natural light, and the well-spaced tables ensure comfort and tranquility. We were here for a confirmation and had a wonderful time. The food is excellent, carefully prepared and meticulously prepared. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful. The excellent value for money is also noteworthy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
