12/03/2024: Very good food with traditional Chinese/Japanese meals. Stuff very kind but I advice you to make a reservation because it is usually full. 😉

09/03/2024: Dinner with friends, looking for a place that offers something veg in Cuneo, I found Bento, high expectations given that it is not the usual all you can eat. Unfortunately, expectations were disappointed, at least as regards the veg dishes (the omnivorous friends were more satisfied). Another friend and I had seaweed salad, ravioli with vegetables, two ramen with vegetables (which aren't ramen) and a pan of fiery tofu. Steamed ravioli, good as usual. Simple, good seaweed salad. Ramen rejected, when ordering they tell us that they don't make them in broth because without meat and fish it wouldn't taste like anything, then a good portion of rice/buckwheat spaghetti arrives with a bit of potatoes, courgettes and sprouts, not well mixed (in fact the potatoes were cold), everything was a bit bland, I think it wasn't pan-fried. The tofu was a little better because it was on a bed of vegetables sautéed well in the small wok with stove that comes to your table, but here too there was little taste and the tofu, which I adore and eat in a thousand forms, was a little stringy. In conclusion, I think they need to revisit these dishes a bit, trying to give them an extra boost of flavour. ps: veg ramen in broth can be done, don't give up. For omnivores I recommend crepes. Still a nice place, with friendly staff and good prices (2 dishes each, wine, water, coffee and two jugs of sake 23 euros each)

01/04/2024: lunch with friends in this beautiful restaurant in the center of Cuneo, hidden just enough to skim the patrons a bit. friendly staff, truly spectacular dishes. I saw some young men wandering around in the kitchen who apparently know what they're doing. the assona tartare cooked with a knife was delicious, the poached egg with asparagus and truffle was so good that I would have had 4 of them. tajarin with lamb ragout and ravioli del plin which alone are worth the trip. Coming from Milan I had been recommended to other shores, but if I were to return to the city I would have no doubts. This is the right place. only note in the furnishings. I feel like I'm in someone's living room, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it all seemed too white, too precise... away with the print paintings and room for a bit of vintage! good.

24/03/2024: The premise is that all the awards and recognitions won by this pizzeria are deserved, from first to last. The environment, enlivened by the classic Vietri-type ceramics, gives a further touch of "Neapolitanness". The prices are in line with those of other pizzerias in Cuneo. You can also find all the classic treats of Neapolitan "street food" (cuoppi, zeppole, etc.). The pizza: really good, as can only be found in some historic places in Naples and its surroundings. Digestible, excellent ingredients, "cornice" with small bubbles, in a workmanlike manner. Highly recommended. The fried pizza, which I ate on another occasion, is unrivalled. I say heresy: it surpasses the best fried pizzas eaten in Naples. But...there is a small "but". The oven is not heated with wood, but with gas (I imagine for practical reasons, and/or for legal reasons). This doesn't lower the quality of the product at all, but I would be curious to taste such a good pizza cooked in "its" oven par excellence. In fairness it must be said that, before taking a fleeting glance at the oven when it was time to pay, I hadn't noticed it at all. Having said that, congratulations and keep up the good work.
