20/07/2025: Important note: the restaurant is located at Via Alzaia Trieste 2/3, not Via Bozzi, as erroneously reported by Google and other search engines (at least as of July 20, 2025). Once we found the location, everything was perfect: friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent food (we didn't try the pizza, but the focaccia was exquisite, fragrant, and with just the right balance of softness and crunchiness), incredibly fresh fish (the sea bream with wild fennel and Grand Marnier was spectacular, especially), and the desserts, both traditional and otherwise, were all excellent. Dogs are welcome and pampered. Although technically not accessible due to the steps, the restaurant is accessible thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who go out of their way to help overcome any obstacles. The price is absolutely fair, in fact, quite reasonable for the quality (the portions are generous!). Definitely worth a try.

19/07/2025: The fish was good. There was a problem with the Chianina beef, a misunderstanding with the waitress (she didn't ask us how the meat was cooked, and we weren't ready to tell her how we wanted it; perhaps she was a novice, perhaps she needs a little experience... a lady of few words and very "reserved," so to speak; the other waitresses, on the other hand, seemed very kind and attentive). Anyway, everything was resolved at the cash register with the very kind owner.

27/08/2025: Ordered two sandwiches after waiting 20 minutes before ordering. Another 10 minutes to eat, and the sandwiches arrived burned. They were rude in their response when I pointed out that the sandwiches weren't the best. I strongly advise against this place.

21/05/2025: It is always a pleasure to dine there. Fresh food, fast service and last but not least the smile of the girls in the dining room, which is not always a given in other places.

18/05/2025: The food is in line with other sushi restaurants, I think, I'm not an expert, fast and punctual service, lots of cobwebs in the bathroom which could be a sign of cleanliness.

24/06/2025: I was pleased to see Lowenbrau draft lager on sale at the bar here. I can never find it in the UK. A previous 500ml I enjoyed in the Dolomites was delicious. But the lager at Route 77 was not as good. Perhaps Lowenbrau produce various different types of Lager.

20/06/2025: Too bad the games were a bit dirty but I understand that being outdoors is like that A bit of a wait but the place was full We will definitely be back because the food was excellent

08/09/2025: I did not like the airport. It was very late and chaotic. Also, the passport officers used a swab without permission to search the children. This made me upset. I did not know what the employee was doing with my daughter’s hand. This was a bit rude. It is possible to ask permission from the parents or search the parents. I did not allow this and I have the right to file a lawsuit because it is somewhat racist and also does not respect the child’s privacy.

17/08/2025: I recommend it more for afternoons/aperitifs! Pizza/ice cream. A lovely area for picnics and barbecues, too. You can take away with a blanket overlooking the lake. A lovely stroll along the shore of Lake Endine with benches.

14/08/2025: A bar/restaurant in a truly stunning location, with a large glass-enclosed dining room, a swimming pool, and a public lawn/beach overlooking the magnificent Lake Endine. The piadinas, brioches, granitas, and superb coffee and gelato are delicious. I haven't been for lunch or dinner yet, so I can't comment on the restaurant/pizzeria, but it's a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are friendly. My only complaint: ceiling fans would be helpful to circulate the air a bit... despite the beautiful location, even with the windows open, it's always very hot inside. Anyway, a great place, I recommend it.

12/06/2025: Nonostante aver dichiarato al momento della prenotazione che nel nostro gruppo di amiche c'era una persona con disabilità impossibilitata a fare le scale ci siamo trovate davanti all'ingresso del locale 5 gradini. Senza rampa e senza possibilità di accesso. Il titolare si è presentato con fare piuttosto arrogante indicando che tanto il nostro tavolo sarebbe stato all'esterno. Ok grazie, una domanda, se avesse piovuto?? Visto che all'interno era impossibile accedere avremmo dovuto mangiare con l'ombrello. È inammissibile e contro ogni buon senso che nel 2025 ci siano ancora episodi come questo. Di sicuro non ci sarà un arrivederci!

15/08/2025: A well-run place in a provincial town. The crowd is local, but if you don't feel like driving, it's much better than other places. The management is attentive and very kind.

25/08/2025: We went to this restaurant during the week of August 15th to get some takeout, and we had such a great time that we'll be back! The lady at the counter is very kind, the place is clean and quiet, there's parking in front, and you can pay by debit card. We had rice noodles with shrimp, and the shrimp were very clean (which isn't always a given in a restaurant), the Cantonese rice was delicious and not mushy, the fried chicken was light and almost melt-in-your-mouth, and the spring rolls were delicious. The portions were generous, and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of beer. Although we didn't eat right away, after about half an hour everything was still hot and fragrant. In short, don't be fooled by the outside, which may seem a bit shabby, because the quality of the food is excellent and the kindness of the lady is exquisite!

31/05/2025: I'm sorry because it's really the only traditional one left in the area... the thing is that for a year now, the three times I've been there, I've done nothing but hear the cook continue to spit from the kitchen, I'm really not joking, it's disgusting, the first time I pretended not to hear, the second to stick my nose in it, and the third to decide never to go in there again... I'm sorry

04/09/2025: A very nice hotel in a small, sleepy town. Everything was clean, and we had a great direct view of Lake Maggiore. There was a good breakfast buffet, and in the evenings, if you wanted, you could enjoy a good meal in the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.

27/08/2025: The restaurant is okay, but the prices are a bit above average. The meat tasted good but was of poor quality. The staff was friendly.

25/06/2025: Had an aperitif one evening in June. The place is nice, on the river bank but far from the traffic. The place is run by foreigners, nice and friendly, the people are nice, the background music is not excessive. However, given the prices in line with the center of Milan (7 euros for a medium beer) they could at least offer table service, since the waiters are standing there doing nothing. Instead you have to go inside to the counter and take the stuff out yourself. And then they give you the snacks in a very sad little paper bag and you can tell they are not fresh. With a few improvements it could become a nice place, but at the moment it is something that is good for students at most.
