25/07/2026: I had fond memories of the restaurant, having eaten there several times last year. Tonight, I returned with a companion. We were sitting at the table at 7:30 PM. They informed us of the change of management, which in itself wasn't a problem. However, the appetizer (meager and different from what I remembered) arrived at 8:20 PM, and the main courses hadn't even left the kitchen by 9:30 PM. In between, there was a lot of coming and going, I think, from takeaways and friends (I think), who were served quite quickly. I'm truly sad to give this rating; it's truly the first time I've removed a restaurant from my bucket list. I hope things change, but I don't think I'll be back again.

17/07/2026: Anytime I get a chance to support an African, Caribbean, or Black owned business, I make an effort to enjoy its service and hopefully sing its praises. Thankfully Ristorante Baobab did not let me down. I made a reservation for 1930 for my wife and I, which I'm glad we did, without twenty minutes of us receiving our orders of Dibi (Lamb), the restaurant started to fill up with hungry guests. This restaurant has a welcoming family feel which I found quite charming. If you have the chance to check out this restaurant brush up on your Italian and enjoy.

09/06/2026: The pizza was delicious, and the service was excellent. A little noisy, but definitely enjoyable!

27/05/2026: A great find for a poolside aperitif. Pizzas and other delicacies. Super convenient parking.

02/02/2026: Decent pizza, tomato sauce a bit too acidic, and ingredients of average-to-low quality. I would have liked at least a sprig of oregano or basil in the Margherita sauce.

12/01/2026: I ordered a takeout pizza from this place on a Saturday night, and I have to say it was perfect timing for a Saturday night. The place is very nice looking and very clean. It's a different type of pizza than my favorite Neapolitan one, but that's just my preference and doesn't really matter... we were a little disappointed because, of the pizzas we ordered, the white one with cooked ham and parmesan cheese ended up with just parmesan. Another aspect: we all drank a lot that night... so perhaps something needs to be reworked in the dough, from my incompetent perspective, or something else entirely.

04/05/2026: Relaxing atmosphere and especially calm during the week, there is finally a large parking lot, the food is good, the lady who serves is very kind, the menu changes weekly, preferably book and ask for the menu in advance and if you have a smart box, excellent food... and good wine, I recommend...

01/07/2026: Exceptional Persian comfort food. High quality and great prices. The double Kubidè is absolutely unmissable. Excellent service, clean environment, and a very professional and welcoming owner. It's a shame there isn't a Mashti in every town in Lombardy!

12/09/2025: You'll find the best gelato in Como here :) Generous portions and super fair prices, unlike other gelato shops in the center! All the flavors are excellent, my favorite is the grape strawberry and apple with a vegan cone! The staff is incredibly kind and friendly! If you're passing through Como, stop by, I highly recommend it!

01/02/2026: The place itself is nice but a little expensive on Saturday evenings with karaoke night. I have to say a toast, an estathe, a large cup of ginseng coffee and a gin lemon (not Premium gin) total 32 euros.....

28/08/2025: a place to forget; we stopped on Thursday 21st August for breakfast, behind the counter there were a boy and a girl who after exactly 5 minutes by the clock no one paid attention to us and we went for dinner

22/07/2025: Ci sono stata insieme ad un'amica, ci siamo trovate bene per quanto riguarda il cibo e le bevande. Non me la sento di dare le cinque stelle per via della "freddezza" del personale. Per il resto ambiente molto carino e accogliente!

28/12/2025: Poor piadina, filled with a slice of something. Disappointing and poor quality. Wait for a piadina (we were the only customers) 20 minutes. They probably keep the grill off and wait for the customer to arrive to turn it on, etc. I don't recommend it.

16/10/2025: The ambiance is okay. The service is friendly. It's certainly enough for a drink. The food is far too expensive for this sparsely occupied piadineria.

18/04/2026: Fresh and well-prepared Chinese food. Original dishes and excellent service. Highly recommended.

11/04/2026: I ate there for lunch on Saturday after not frequenting this restaurant for a few weeks (and I was right). I was shocked by the decline in quality of the sushi. Look at the photos and you'll understand. The sashimi arrived with four pieces of one color and four of a completely different color. The uramaki were 95% rice and 5% fish. The nigiri with seared salmon seemed expired. The quality was truly terrible, and this is coming from someone who has tried sushi in Varese. I won't be returning.

10/07/2026: Nice café with friendly service. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious, as was the crispy bacon.

21/04/2026: I hate this restaurant; I should have reported it. I regret not doing so. Please DO NOT GO. I ordered the Tonno (tuna) and they gave me EXPIRED TUNA. I ended up with food poisoning. They ruined my trip, and even worse, they put my health at risk.

29/06/2026: Today, returning from Ponte di Legno after a beautiful bike ride, intrigued by this very elegant bar, I decided to stop for something to eat. I ordered and the girls were very quick in bringing my order. My phone battery was dead, and one of the three girls lent me the charger to plug it in inside the bar. What can I say? Three very kind, talented, and very, very friendly girls. It's rare that I stop somewhere for the first time and feel at home, as if I've been a regular customer for a long time. Three fantastic girls. When I pass by, I'm definitely going to have to stop by. Highly recommended, it feels like home. ❤️

21/06/2026: Incompetent in their job and incompetent in tourism management. Having been sitting at the tables for 5 minutes and seeing the waitress continue to pass by without taking my order, I went up to the counter to politely ask what I was getting. The waitress urged me to wait outside. After another 5 minutes of waiting, the waitress continued to come in and out, talking to everyone (she was doing nothing but talking)...and we waited for her to take our order. Until I got tired and went to the bar next door, where in two minutes I had my order and impeccable service. IF YOU ARE PASSING BY, DON'T GO TO BAR JOLLY AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE BARS IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA. The service and courtesy are forgettable...it's better if you send the employees back to hotel management school.

03/07/2026: A friend of mine and I went to the Fumagalli bar in Lurago d'Erba for a snack on Thursday afternoon. Honestly, the bill seemed very high compared to what we usually pay at the Fumagalli bar in Arosio, not to mention the staff. The girl at the cash register was clearly annoyed, while the guy seemed truly shocked. The room was empty, there were only four people in the entire place, and I don't understand their behavior. The cream puffs were really hard but edible. As for the orange juice my friend had, it was clearly diluted with water. Once I pointed this out to the girl at the cash register, she rudely said, "But if we have a machine for that, in fact, you know what, I'll squeeze it for you," with a look of disgust I can't even begin to describe. Once they brought the new juice, it was visibly different from the first (diluted 100%). We'll never return to this bar because of the waiters' attitude and lack of attention. The Fumagalli bar in Arosio is much better, where the staff are much more cheerful. I'm truly shocked by the girl's behavior, especially since the bar was empty. Having been a waitress myself, I would never have allowed myself to have a freshly squeezed juice remade if I'd seen the two young men struggling due to the large crowd, but there was no one there. I hope the staff can improve.

28/06/2026: We stopped for breakfast for two, we asked what pastries they had, and the waitress, looking annoyed, started listing what was left. It was 9:30... so not late. We asked for a pastry... and the pastry arrived, which was definitely from the day before, definitely NOT fresh, and in a pastry shop I expect ONLY fresh pastries! We went to pay, and without any greeting (a good morning out of politeness seems obvious!) they gave us the receipt, which we had to wait for because the person at the cashier was chatting with her colleagues! I WILL NOT GO BACK! AND I'M SORRY BECAUSE THE NAME PASTICCERIA FUMAGALLI HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SYMBOL OF ELEGANCE! TOO BAD!

05/04/2026: Great place. Beautifully situated by the lake. Friendly service. I received a snack plate with a delicious milkshake and Aperol. Excellent.

07/08/2026: I came to eat and was served by Sara who brightened my day with her smile.

06/08/2026: Honestly disappointed. I ordered a salad because I was inspired by the picture. You can see the result in the second attached photo. Honestly, the food is heavy and hard to digest.
