25/07/2025: One of my favorite places to eat in Pavia. The staff is always very friendly and the food is delicious, although a few more vegetarian options would be nice. ;)
Anyway, my friends and I end up there every time we go out. The place is truly beautiful and the atmosphere is fantastic!

17/02/2026: Small inconvenience: we paid extra for a dessert. We noticed it but didn't consider returning to file a complaint. We were in Brescia for medical appointments, so we were tourists. It's like paying an extra tourist tax. Next time, I'll opt for the aperitif. Please pay more attention to clearly specifying what you're paying, without using fancy nouns. Thank you.

03/06/2025: Il Modì è vicino al castello di San Giorgio, comodo, informale e il personale è molto gentile. Si può mangiare sia dentro chefuori, nella veranda posta sul marciapiede.
A pranzo propongono un menù fisso a 13/15 euro che coprende un piatto a scelta (primo, secondo o insalatona) acqua, caffè e dolcetto. La qualita dei piatti è molto buona. Consiglio vivamente questo locale.

20/03/2026: While staying in Menaggio, we ate here twice. Recommended to us by a couple people, we thought why not? The service was so friendly, the drinks delicious, and the food great. We received olives and bread to start. The prices were reasonable and it was a very pleasant experience both times. You can tell they care about the service and food they provide. Also, they are open all day- even while here in low season, so that was nice to be able to sit down and eat and drink during ‘off lunch or dinner’ hours.

14/02/2026: Just a few minutes from the lake, there's no need to wait in lines. The focaccia is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, happy to advise and recommend their specialties.
The price for a coffee and brioche is very reasonable at €2.
I totally recommend checking it out!

19/03/2026: I've been away for a long time, and I wasn't thrilled about coming back. The tables were getting closer together, and the prices were getting higher!
15/03/2026: I love crispy pizzas, and I think this is the best pizza I've ever eaten.
The place is small but cozy. The only downside is the timer. Once the time is up, they kindly ask you to leave.
It's understandable, but if you want a relaxing dinner and have late friends, you might want to go elsewhere.

15/02/2026: I went to this pastry shop for the first time that a friend of mine recommended to me, what can I say? I had a cappuccino and a delicious chocolate brioche and then I had some tortelli, empty and with cream, given the arrival of the carnival, to take home. I wouldn't say they were good, SUPER TOP. I think that in the area and neighboring towns, no one can beat you. Congratulations and very well done. We will definitely see each other again.
24/12/2025: Today I was there for the second time (the first was last year) and I have to say that the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very kind....I should go there more often.

I've only tried the Chinese cuisine, and I found it excellent and high-quality.
They also offer Italian cuisine.
Both dine-in and takeout are available.
Highly recommended!
22/12/2025: I went on a Sunday evening with my girlfriend, the place was particularly busy.
We ordered two entrees; she received it immediately, and mine after exactly an hour. After a nervous dinner, I asked for an explanation at the cashier, saying that at least we could have waited an hour together, without her eating first and then me. The response? The very arrogant lady at the cashier asked, "Have you ever worked in a restaurant? Do you know how it works?"
Dear Madam, I've worked in the restaurant business for three years, and no restaurant in Italy does this happen, and if it does, the only response at the cashier is, I SORRY. Never again.

11/03/2026: A very nice place in the center of Viadana, practically across from the hospital. It's packed with little things you should take the time to look at. It's perhaps a little chaotic, but I think it's a deliberate choice. The only drawback is that the "communications" to customers (such as "new arrivals" or "specials," written on small signs scattered around) risk going unnoticed, which is a shame because some of them are truly interesting. The staff is very kind and helpful. The bill, however, is a shame. It's a bit pricey: €7 for two cappuccinos and two croissants (which were very good, by the way!).
PS We came back and asked for the menu, which was wonderful!
