La Parada In Cadrezzate

There were three of us here, and our non-existent Italian skills were a real problem. English is hardly spoken here, so we ordered different pizza slices. The dough is very thick, but still very tasty. It's mainly frequented by locals.

Good for a bite to eat, the ice cream is good too, but they're dishonest with the beer. I have to say we've always had a good time there; I've always considered it a great place to end a day at the lake. The pizza by the slice is good and light, and the dishes and sandwiches are also excellent. Being in a busy area between lidos and beaches, it's a popular spot, even for tourists, so the prices aren't among the best in the area. But among all the things I truly can't stand is being brought a 33-ounce glass of beer, passing it off as a medium. Even my son now knows that a medium is AT LEAST 0.4, if not 0.5. Even more unpleasant, unfortunately, was the response I received when, somewhat disappointed, I asked if that was a medium. I was told that these are the glasses the supplier gives them. I was shocked. This was the response from both the girl who served us and the guy at the cashier when it came to the bill. But can you pay off a customer like that? I don't think I'll ever be able to stand paying 6 euros for a 33-cl industrial beer again.

The classic place that, looking at it from the outside or walking in for the first time, you probably wouldn't expect to find so good. But La Parada manages to surprise you. The restaurant is small inside, simple and unpretentious, but it's one of those places where what's served counts. The rustic-style pizza by the slice is truly excellent, as are the sandwiches and focaccias. There's also a good selection of wines and drinks, so you're sure to find something to suit your taste. But the real strength, in my opinion, is the value for money. You eat well, you spend little, and above all, you leave satisfied. It's one of those accessible places that makes you regret deciding, at the last minute, to stop for a bite to eat. A simple, authentic, no-frills place that does what it's supposed to do well. And for that very reason, it deserves to be discovered and tried.

Real world environment: not only Italians stand out with this. But the most important thing is that despite being far from the Nordic countries, we can still feel at home here. They really take care of us and are really taken care of. I love Italy!

I agree with other customers about the beer sizes. A simple Google search is enough to understand that the 33ml size isn't a Classic Medium, but is being passed off as such to charge the same as a medium and save several ml. The ice cream wasn't great. The pizza was the only positive.
