Amazing location with many choices. We had incredible pasta, highly recommend, and outstanding aracini, and a bottle of wine. There is more seating upstairs. Very highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

Fabulous food hall and very reasonably priced. We had tortellini brodo, tortellini, pistachio tiramisu in a cup and lambrusco. All delicious.

Great atmosphere at Mercato di Mezzo! Besides the excellent selection of local products and the quality of the food at the various stalls, today there was an unexpected surprise: a truly amazing hyper-realistic food-themed art installation/performance that combined food and body art (a girl with spaghetti-like hair eating from a wheel of cheese). An original pop-art concept that captured the attention of all passersby. The market confirms itself as a vibrant, dynamic, and never boring place in the heart of Bologna. Highly recommended for an alternative lunch or aperitivo!

28/07/2026: I finally managed to try it. We booked a table for two because seating is limited, so you don't risk a wait, especially during peak hours. Excellent welcome. They seated us in the very charming internal room. The decor is beautiful. I would only recommend cushions for the chairs. I asked for an alternative, and the girl promptly found a solution. We ordered two appetizers: a pumpkin flan (excellent) and chickpea meatballs (good, I'd rather use the ginger flavor, very delicate). Followed by a Bolognese cutlet (excellent) with sautéed potatoes (fantastic), and a prosciutto platter with crescentine (very, very good prosciutto). All accompanied by excellent bread, water, and a fragrant glass of Montepulciano. I must say that halfway through the main course, we gave in and had everything prepared for takeout. We were so full and happy that we couldn't even stop for dessert. The price was fair and the food excellent. The staff were very kind, informal, smiling, and friendly. Congratulations, we will definitely be back. I also recommend it for a coffee break or an aperitif 💥 See you soon

07/05/2026: It's not as famous as other, but so far my favourite, not overly sweet, all flavours very natural and the man who served us, I guess he is the owner, absolutely wonderful person.
02/05/2026: The hazelnut, a very special type of hazelnut cream, is there. The cone is a good one, which means it's cheap and very good.
