21/11/2025: The waitress, Lorenza, was very kind and explained the food to us. Very good, we decided to try several dishes and I was satisfied with everything! The chicory with fava beans was a really good specialty, as was the main course. I recommend going. It's a shame it's not visible if someone happens to be walking by and doesn't know, but the place is quaint. We ate under the cave, which was lovely.

27/03/2026: We happened to pass by the restaurant and it was tempting to go inside because the exterior was beautifully decorated! We made a reservation for dinner and were immediately served by a very friendly waiter. Inside, it was also very cozy!! Very much my style. We had a delicious meal. Everything was kept well monitored regarding when your glass was empty or when you had finished eating. So, everything was really fine! Maybe just one minor point… Is that there wasn't enough waiting time between courses. We received a complimentary appetizer from the house, which was also very tasty! Mom had ordered a starter, which was already a large portion, and the complimentary appetizer arrived a little later than the house aperitif. I didn't order a starter myself, but a main course and dessert. While she was still busy with her starter, my main course arrived. Perhaps it is always nicer to receive the main course together… This is really just a very minor flaw, because otherwise everything was really fine! Hats off to the chef and the waiter. Regards

20/03/2026: Welcoming restaurant The staff was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. The chef was excellent. We tried a basic fish menu! The bluefin tuna was spectacular. ☺️

01/02/2026: Carmela is wonderful... I'll start with her, the soul and strength of this corner of exquisite goodness. This agriturismo, close yet so far removed from the banality of Matera's tourist offerings, won us over with the authenticity of the products served on our plates... the tarallini, the oil, the bread, the cruschi, the turnip tops, the exquisite dishes, and the wine (Il Dono)... it's all so inspiring!!

25/03/2026: Great experience and atmosphere! We stopped by for a quick lunch - caprese and bruscetta - both very tasty. The staff was really friendly and kind.

23/03/2026: My friends and I went there 🥰. It's a lovely place, the owners are kind and professional, the food is good. I recommend the bruschetta 😍, all delicious, made with excellent local ingredients. I recommend buying the peperone crusco, it's delicious!

22/12/2025: A quaint and welcoming atmosphere, a warm and pleasant place with Italian music playing in the background. The place is very tidy and clean. The staff is kind and attentive. We enjoyed a bruschetta with crumbled sausage and melted cheese, truly delicious, and an Irish burger with cheddar and bacon, accompanied by crispy fries. To finish, a delicious tiramisu.

The atmosphere is warm, with authentic flavors, made with high-quality local ingredients. Original, carefully prepared dishes. All accompanied by fine wines, including a spectacular Aglianico del Vulture.

03/05/2026: We went for dinner as a couple and it was truly a delightful experience. The menu was original, with typical dishes that were tasty and well-executed. The restaurant was very well-maintained and the service was attentive (Paolo was a very friendly, professional guy... special!). The owners were wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommended: 10 stars, but it's a shame there are only 5 stars.

The food is truly delicious every time, with no unpleasant surprises. The rest of the experience is also completely satisfying: pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, and good timing. A reliable place, one you'll gladly return to because it maintains a consistently high overall standard. Recommended.

08/04/2026: Oh well... we haven't eaten like this since '72. The aromas of authenticity and the fireplace blend with the flavors of the Lucanian mountains, from porcini mushrooms to handmade strascinati. I'd live here if I could ❤️

23/03/2026: A typical mountain hut made entirely of wood, serving authentic, local cuisine, just like being at home. Reasonable prices, very kind and smiling staff, and a fantastic view of the surrounding forest, especially in the snow. NB: One suggestion, though: I'd make the portions larger; some are really small 🙈😅
