09/12/2024: U' Ciddar é un posto per me speciale, nel quale ho rivissuto le emozioni a me più care. Il cibo é davvero squisito e rispetta le tradizioni del posto. In questo locale, sei uno di famiglia e riceverai un'accoglienza favolosa. Se vuoi vivere la magia più pura dei Sassi non puoi non passare da U' Ciddar.

02/12/2024: Cibo caldo e ben cucinato. Dal contorno al dessert, dal buon vino al suo amaro! Tutto Home Made e al Forno! Ottimo anche per chi é vegetariano! Troverete cucina tipica del posto e tutto a Km0. Chef Giovanna molto accogliente e gentile- ci ha offerto la spiegazione di ogni piatto e del suo modus operandi. Abbiamo avuto modo di mangiare con allegria , senza fretta e spensieratezza. Chef Giovanna fa tutto con il cuore!

07/11/2024: Location suggestiva nel centro di Matera. Piatti buoni e ben curati. Ottima la cottura dell’agnello. Personale preparato e gentile. C’è stato un disguido con la prenotazione effettuata su “The Fork”, ma il gestore ha trovato immediatamente una soluzione per farci accomodare. Vale la pena un passaggio da qui.

06/11/2024: Sono appena stato in questo ristorante con la mia compagna, gentilezza cordialità del titolare davvero top! Location eccezionale, abbiamo chiesto di pranzare nella grotta e siamo stati accontentati. La qualità del cibo straordinaria, se ci passate consiglio il crostino con crusco, stracciatella e alici, e le orecchiette con salsiccia e funghi. Prezzo ragionevole in due abbiamo pagato circa 70 euro

09/11/2024: Oggi abbiamo scoperto x caso questo bistrò. Ottima l'accoglienza della signora Lidia che ci ha accompagnato x tutto il pranzo presentandoci tutti i loro piatti facendoci venire la voglia di assaggiarli tutti ma non potendo, x ovvi motivi, ci siamo fatti tentare dalle bruschette classiche cacioricotta e peperone crusco.... ottime!!! Deliziosa anche la loro cialledda. Buona anche la crapiata e dulcis in fondo.....le scorzette ( dei biscotti buonissimi che consiglio vivamente) Ancora grazie alla Signora Lidia anche x la sua dolcezza e la sua premura perché mi ero appena fatta male e si è subito prodigata dandomi del ghiaccio e chiedendomi ogni tanto come stessi .... di questi tempi , purtroppo, non è cosi scontata come cosa. Consigliatissimo x una sosta in una delle viuzze più carine di Matera

09/11/2024: Locale caratteristico nelle vie di Matera, all'interno ha in esposizione di prodotti tipici locali. La cucina è particolare e caratteristica del posto. Due zuppe con una porzione di dolcetti secchi 29,50€

29/10/2024: Non si sbaglia mai. Ravioli n.1 in vari modi, ma quello pomodoro e basilico non si supera. Agnello alla brace ottimo, contorni sfiziosi e dolci della casa. Gentilezza e cortesia non mancano. Super consigliato.

03/11/2024: I came here for my grandfather's birthday, the appetizer was good with slices of swordfish, salmon then mussels au gratin, shrimp au gratin, a "flower" of puff pastry with shrimp on top filled with pink sauce, a mini colored sandwich with tuna and rocket then as first paccheri with seafood and 5 ravioli placed on a cross with ricotta filling and 2 cubes of bacon and 2 mushrooms. For the second course, roast consisting of: slice, chicken breast, half sausage, veal chops, salad and french fries. Ice cream and coffee, coffee and cake But let's move on to the environment... The environment is very nice with tables and armchairs outside, an "external" indoor room and a completely indoor room (the latter is the one where we ate) I give 4 stars to the environment because the outside was a bit dirty of waste paper and the terrace above inaccessible.

16/12/2024: Anzi's restaurant, it's impossible not to read the signs that take you to this place. We were looking for a pizzeria and this place was immediately recommended to us almost everywhere We decide to follow the advice and the road signs and arrive shortly afterwards. they explain to us that the pizzeria is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So let's try the restaurant and something local: absolutely delicious homemade starters; I don't have time to take a photo, we'll devour the first course, I'm sorry, but you'll have to make do with the other photos. As a first course I personally enjoyed a fantastic dish of orecchiette with turnip tops and anchovies, with the addition of spicy oil. Truly everything super delicious. Try it to believe it.

01/01/2025: If there is one restaurant which you should visit in Matera, THIS is the one. Literally. Stop scrolling, stop looking around, this is the best. 1. The hospitality and service is unmatched. They are so kind in here, they make you feel like you’re at home. Amazing people. 2. The food. I can talk for hours about it. An explosion of flavours. So well done. SO, SO, SO TASTY!!! AND ALSO THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE!!!!!!!! Amazing gluten free pasta! Amazing gluten AND lactose free profiteroles! Amazing soup! Incredible dishes! 3. The atmosphere - you’re sitting in a an authentic cave-looking place which 1000 years ago used to be a church. And there are frescoes on the walls. Really, truly amazing. The only negative is that we found them too late.

11/11/2024: Last night I had dinner here with my boyfriend, there's no doubt about it, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. I am lactose and also nickel intolerant but this was absolutely not a problem as the staff served me a pizza with lactose-free mozzarella. Even though I decided of my own free will to try foods that are not allowed in my diet, I had a really good time, unlike other pizzerias. The pizza, in addition to being good, is really light and you are spoiled for choice. Fresh and delicious products. Friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps the only flaw is that the music is a little too loud for my tastes. I can't wait to go back.

29/08/2024: I recently visited this place, attracted by the positive reviews that spoke of impeccable service and a refined atmosphere. On these two aspects, I must admit that expectations were fully met. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous, demonstrating rare professionalism. Each of our requests was handled with care and discretion, making the service one of the highlights of the evening. The restaurant environment is quiet and pleasantly refined, with elegant decor and background music that encourages conversation. Unfortunately, however, the sore point of our experience was the food. Expectations were high, but the dishes failed to meet them. The courses arrived well presented, but the flavors were rather disappointing. Despite the care taken in preparation, the taste did not live up to what was promised. In summary, a place that deserves attention for its customer care and welcoming environment, but which should review the quality of the food to offer a complete and satisfying experience.

29/08/2024: Decent appetizers, first courses not up to expectations, too long wait motivated by the preparation of homemade pasta. The flavors of the first course of anchovies did not combine with each other. The ricotta in the ravioli is too hard and grainy.

25/12/2024: Clean place, kind staff and truly delicious food, it feels like a restaurant of a certain level, special ingredients, fresh and tasty food, all at a fair price, I highly recommend it
