There's no menu other than the one in the owner's mind, which he recommends based on food availability. The appetizer is truly exceptional, but above all rich and plentiful, so much so that it alone leaves you feeling full. We did, however, share a veal cutlet with mushrooms, which was also very tasty. The place is simple, but the owner and waiters are friendly; we were even offered a complimentary amaro at the end of the evening. Affordable prices.

We went there after a morning in the mountains. The place is quite rustic and it was a bit warm. The food was good and the staff very friendly. The price was reasonable.

Tra cartellate isn't a restaurant: it's a world. You understand it when you walk in and ask if they do something light, a soup, some oats :-), because you have dinner that evening and they look at you a little surprised, a little incredulous, saying: no, we don't do these things; if you want, a first course... a second course... You understand it when you accept and, upon reaching the table, you find the piccolos already ready to welcome the sincere wine. You understand it when, while you're choosing, someone comes over with two plates of porcini mushrooms and guanciale and says: try these. You understand it when, while you're eating the first course you've chosen, you look to the side and see some lamb roasting in front of the fireplace and say: excuse me, but that's too tempting, could you bring us a portion? And when it arrives, you can easily share it with two. You understand it when, at the end, you know you weren't just a generic "customer" but a guest. Thank you. Thank you so much.
