22/07/2025: We had maccheroni alla Centonara con funghi and petto di pollo al gorgonzola. We asked the lady to use meno sale (less salt) for the pasta, since I need to limit salty foods. However, she explained that the sauce was premade, so they couldn’t reduce the salt content. Since we weren’t sure about it, she kindly offered to let me taste the sauce first before placing the order. She returned with a small plate and a spoonful of the sauce for me to try. They were incredibly generous and accommodating! The lady with red hair who took our order was very kind. The food was really good!

05/07/2025: My family and I had dinner last night at this restaurant. What can I say, a simply delicious evening! The place is welcoming and well-decorated. As soon as you enter, you feel a familiar and relaxing atmosphere. We decided to eat fish. The place only serves it on weekends: Francesco only gets fresh, high-quality fish! We had a mixed appetizer for two, there were several courses and they were super abundant, and all delicious: octopus and potato salad, fried anchovies, sautéed mussels, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, salmon and stracciatella, shrimp, cherry tomatoes and cannellini bean salad and fried cod (perfectly cooked and crispy) served with a fennel, orange and olive salad (my favorite dish). For starters we had spaghetti with clams and homemade gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and clams... truly the best clams I've eaten in years!!! We ended the evening with two tiramisu, one classic and the other with amaretto, both delicious too! Excellent value for money. Francesco and his staff are certainly professionals: kind, helpful, attentive to detail and customer care. They practice this profession with great passion and you can immediately see that they really know what they're doing with the customer! We'll be back very soon and I recommend it to everyone!

26/07/2025: Relaxed, local atmosphere, dishes served simply but very well prepared, very tasty and reasonably priced for the area. Locals come here to eat, not tourists. Definitely a place to come back every time I come.

25/07/2025: Excellent food, especially the arrosticini that come directly from Abruzzo. Excellent service, family atmosphere. Given the evening, we ate under a beautiful pergola. I will definitely be back.

A family-run agriturismo that welcomed us with sincere warmth, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was authentic, simple, and meticulously crafted, and every detail exuded passion. But it was the food that truly won us over: delicious dishes, prepared with love and local ingredients that spoke of the region. An authentic experience, the kind you don't expect, that leaves you with a smile all day long. Thank you so much to those who work there with such dedication. We'll definitely be back ❤️

11/05/2025: This is the third time I've returned to Torii Sushi. The food is quality, prepared with fresh and delicious ingredients. I really appreciated the Lucanian influence in the dishes. This makes the cuisine at Torii special. The environment is very quiet, soft lights, excellent for enjoying a dinner for two. I don't recommend it for large tables! The only sore point which unfortunately forced me to give only two stars is the service. Since it's a Saturday night, there's probably more chaos, but in a place like this, which is high-quality and high-end, the customer, whatever he may be, should always be put first and not served hastily as if it were an "any restaurant". I really recommend reviewing some things, and improving the service because this place can really do more! 🫶🏻

A special thanks to the manager, who welcomed us kindly, served us, explained the dishes and, to my girlfriend's delight, also took some photos of us. 25/05/2025: We were there last night with a couple of friends. Recommended by another friend. Fantastic discovery. Very fresh fish, we had raw fish, fresh and delicious. Fantastic fish risotto and octopus tentacle with black potato mousse, very soft and everything excellent and balanced. Then a sea bass, caught, fantastic. Well-stocked wine cellar which is not a given. Total expense around 300 euros, the expense is really low for what we drank and ate. New and well-kept location. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well

08/08/2025: Highly recommended! We had a mixed antipasto, pappardelle with wild boar and pappardelle with mushrooms and sausage. Everything was delicious! Don't miss the opportunity to try the fried porcini mushrooms, they're spectacular. The service was very friendly and fast.

02/08/2025: How beautiful the simplicity and spontaneity of Italian villages and their taverns! We ate fettuccine with ragù that would make those from other regions pale in comparison; we finished with the brilliant tiramisu you see in the photo. Add the genuine goodness of the ingredients (delicious fried porcini mushrooms) and the kindness of the people who served us (if only there were more of them like that!), and you have a memorable result, highly recommended.

09/07/2025: We stopped here after visiting Pisa. The owner was a soft-spoken Indian man, who spoke multiple languages. Being Indian, we didn’t need help with the menu but he did listen to our request for high spice in the bhel appetizer. We liked our paneer tikka masala and chola. While it wasn’t the best we’ve had, it wasn’t bad either. Flavors were authentic and spicy (we asked for medium spice for kids’ sake). Only thing we really didn’t like was the veg pakoda. Clean bathrooms too. Thank you!

Upon arrival, the carefully set table with its textured black plates, fresh orange juice served in pretty glasses, and artistically presented pastries whetted our appetite. The pastries are true works of pastry art: perfect puff pastry, appetizing shine, and generous fillings. A special mention goes to the Fagotto alla nocciola, a visually impressive marvel with an airy texture and intense hazelnut flavor. Each bite is a pure moment of bliss. The cappuccino, incredibly smooth and topped with an impeccable foam, provides the perfect warm and creamy touch to accompany this sweet experience. The setting is pleasant and bright, and the welcome is warm—perfect for starting the day in a good mood. The products are clearly homemade, with great attention to detail and true creativity in the kitchen. A huge congratulations to the team for this experience, as beautiful as it is delicious. 27/06/2025: Superb coffee with a huge selection. I loved having breakfast every morning during my stay in Castellana! The prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the products. I was surprised by the bill; there was no coperto and water was offered to everyone. Very warm welcome, even though we don't speak Italian; they speak very good English. I recommend it 100%!
