This is the best restaurant on Giudecca; the food is good and simple. A nice wine list, mostly natural wines. Right on the water with stunning sunsets. Very friendly service!

This is our third time at Majer Restaurant and it was a great experience again. It is an amazing restaurant with a great atmosphere. The owner is a very kind person who always takes the time to chat with us, making us feel truly welcome. The food was absolutely fantastic as always, which is one of the main reasons we love coming back. Another highlight is the stunning view, which makes the whole experience even more special. I came here based on Ernie's recommendation, and I initially thought it would just be cheap and the food delicious, but the croissants were surprisingly good. I'd give it a "top-notch" rating. My son and I ordered cappuccinos, juice, and chocolate croissants. The crispness of the croissants was amazing; of all the croissants I've had (including those in Paris), this is definitely the best, and it wasn't expensive. Combined with the stunning sea view, it was a truly enjoyable experience. Next time I go, I'll definitely order croissants again!

I came here on the recommendation of YouTuber Ernie, and I absolutely have to rave about this place! Compared to other restaurants near St. Mark's Square that charge 5 or 7 euros plus a seating fee, making the food double, this place is incredibly affordable—I almost thought I miscalculated! The riverside view is absolutely stunning, and there's no seating fee. The only downside is that pigeons kept stealing our breakfast (is that even a downside?). If it were a flock of seagulls, I would give this place 10 stars.

Following YouTuber Ernie's recommendation, I visited this café on Judeca Island. Knowing it's a French restaurant, I couldn't miss their croissants. After tasting them, I can only describe them as "breathtaking"! The crust is crispy, the inside silky smooth—the quality far surpasses even the famous L's Bakery in Melbourne. I highly recommend leaving early, otherwise they'll sell out quickly; definitely worth a special trip!
