10/04/2025: My wife and I were having dinner on Saturday night. The owner couldn't have been nicer to us. The dishes we ordered were delicious. We liked it so much that we went on Monday to repeat, but we found it closed for rest. It's worth trying.

21/03/2025: Yesterday I attended my father's company retirement dinner at this place unknown to me. I admit that I found the food to be above my expectations, the appetizer and main course were anonymous, but without any major flaws, while the risotto was well-balanced and tasty. Nice place, convivial atmosphere perfect for dinner with friends and in a group. Very poor service, staff not very attentive to details, many off notes.

08/04/2025: I loved everything about Retroscena – the food was outstanding, with complex and well-balanced flavors. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm, and it was a pleasure to see how present and attentive the chef was throughout the evening. A truly memorable dining experience!🤍

La location risulta curata pulita e molto gradevole all’interno, così come l’accoglienza. I piatti sono tutti buoni, curati e composti da ingredienti di qualità. La vera anima del locale è la proprietaria che cura con attenzione tutto lo svolgimento dell’attività. L’unica pecca sono i prezzi molto alti che però sono difesi in questo caso da una qualità come sopra descritta, ma lo rendono un ristorante non da tutti i giorni. 4.8/5

Stinco di Maiale Laccato con Miele e Noci – This slow-cooked pork shank is glazed with honey and walnuts, creating a rich, caramelized crust. The meat is incredibly tender, falling off the bone, and perfectly complemented by aromatic herbs and crispy roasted potatoes. (The picture shown is meant for two portions) 2. Filetto di Scottona Frollata – Aged beef fillet, expertly seared to a perfect medium-rare, with a deep, buttery flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture. It’s served with sea salt, rosemary, and roasted potatoes, enhancing the natural richness of the meat. The presentation is beautiful and made you enjoyed the food.
