22/08/2025: I came back here after a year, and the carbonara is still the best I've ever had in a restaurant. In general, everything is really delicious. Special mention for the homemade bread, served warm.

01/08/2025: We've rarely encountered an owner so attentive to hospitality, from the complimentary prosecco offered at the start, to the selection of quality ingredients, to the open kitchen, to the attention to every detail to ensure a memorable dinner with impeccable service. 01/08/2025: The piadinas are truly excellent, but the quality/price ratio, in my opinion, is too high. One doesn't fill you up; perhaps they should increase the filling! Another negative is the wait. I've tried several times, and unfortunately, the wait is really long, even when the place isn't crowded. Too bad.

18/07/2025: I'm pleased to return today after a long time, because I used to go there at least once a week as a student when it was still called "Il Portico"... I studied digital marketing, and I have to say the rebranding and interior renovation was very well done. The original and unique idea in the area to expand the menu to include many typical local combinations is more than spot-on and appreciated. Regarding the food, the quality/price ratio is truly excellent. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the freshly made dough. The service has improved significantly, in my opinion, even though I visited on a weekday, when there was a large influx of takeout customers, rather than dine-in customers. The timing was really well managed, even when it came to bringing the second piadina afterward rather than together. The staff was very friendly, professional, and kind. We were even offered fries as part of a group, as were many other tables. Tables are always cleaned as customers change. At the cashier, you'll always be asked to show your loyalty card and be informed about the discounts you can get. I assure you, this isn't a given at every restaurant, and that's something to be appreciated. I'll gladly return, and specifically more often, not just when I'm passing through. It's truly a unique restaurant in our valleys, and now it also serves typical local dishes!

29/08/2025: 9:00 PM We stopped for a quick bite to eat, asking if we could sit down, and there were free tables on a Saturday night. There were four of us, so we sat down and asked what the quickest thing to grab was because we had a commitment by 10:00 PM at the latest! They said fried panzerotti, and we said let's make them, emphasizing the importance of the hour... After 30 minutes, we asked a very young and inexperienced waitress how they were doing, but she never got an answer. After 10 minutes, we asked again without getting an answer. I approached the kitchen to apply pressure and at least get some answers... at 9:45 PM, the answer came back: "They're cooking." At 10:00 PM, given the lack of seriousness, we decided to pay for what we had ordered, that is, to have and leave.... Lo and behold, when it was time to pay, our much-desired panzerotti came out! Too late!!!! PS: if you have seats, you cannot give priority to takeaway!!!!

04/09/2025: We were looking for something to eat before lunch and were captivated by the smell of freshly baked pizza at this pizzeria. The pizza was very good, with easy-to-digest dough and a generous amount of toppings, and the supplì al telefono were excellent, even the freshly fried ones. A delightful discovery, and kudos to the owner and the staff.

31/08/2025: While on vacation in Silvi Marina, I discovered this fantastic pizzeria, where everything is incredibly good and very easy to digest. I highly recommend the onion pizza (haute cuisine!), as well as the ham and mozzarella calzones or the various pizzas. You're spoiled for choice. The kindness and professionalism are undeniable. Congratulations again! Well done!

06/09/2025: A welcoming bakery with authentic products. The focaccia, both plain and filled, is truly delicious: soft, well-seasoned, and flavorful. The bread is also worth a try: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend!

The star of the show is the *buccellato*, fragrant, well-leavened, and with an intense aniseed aroma, a must-try for anyone who wants to savor a piece of true Lucca tradition. The dessert counter is full of artisanal delicacies, all beautifully presented. The selection of liqueurs and local products is also excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ready to share the history and ingredients of their specialties. Perfect for a special breakfast or an authentic gourmet gift. A must-try in Lucca!

18/09/2025: How lovely! A 10 for the exquisite hospitality and the ancient flavor that permeates this gem nestled in the heart of Lucca. Excellent coffee and expertly crafted desserts that hold a story far beyond the mere recipe. Tradition, friendliness, professionalism: Taddeucci has all the best cards in the deck (to put it in Games' terms). It really makes you want to take home a "souvenir," a taste to share with loved ones. Well done!

28/09/2025: We can't say we had a good experience... we felt like we'd been scammed just because we spoke French and didn't understand well... We ordered four dishes, two for €14 and two for €15 (total €58) and two drinks for €4 (total €66), but we ended up paying €80... They charged us for the tablecloth, napkins, and covers without warning us... Thanks to the tourist office, which informed us that this wasn't fair on their part... Furthermore, aside from the gnocchi, everything else was inedible. Disappointed. We won't be returning.

But it's at the table that the real magic unfolds: spectacular dishes, carefully crafted yet delicate, unleashing authentic flavors that linger. The wine list is a gem: a wide selection and wines that enhance every course. A place where the landscape and the gastronomic experience meet and complement each other perfectly.

09/08/2025: Overrated pastry shop with prices as if it were in the center of Milan. They don't know how to froth milk for cappuccino, there's nothing they can do. The two owners, two sisters, are as nice as a pair of fingers in the eyes (though they know how to be nice to their regulars). The skinny girl is unmentionable. You walk in, say hello, and she doesn't even respond. Tell me later if it's normal, after pointing out that I was sitting outside, that they put your cappuccino and croissant on the counter and you have to bring them to your table. Never again.

20/07/2025: We went to this restaurant a few nights ago, and I have to say that the waitress's service, the quality of the food, and the owner's helpfulness were all excellent. This is the best restaurant I've ever been to! Congratulations!

17/05/2025: The place is nice, but you go to a restaurant for the food... not for the location. I had a grilled fish and I found it really poor. It was indicated on the menu that it could contain frozen products and that's not a problem, the problem is that the plate was dirty and the fish had the same burnt aftertaste. There were some mix-ups with the order, I had asked to bring forward the dish for my little son... and it arrived after mine... I had asked for grilled courgettes and they arrived fried... That said, my son's dish was abundant, penne with sauce but it wasn't anything exceptional, the fried courgettes were very greasy and not very tasty. As a final note, the high chair for the baby was dirty and there is no changing table in the bathroom, so parents, organize yourselves. Too bad because I didn't remember it like this, the food was better some time ago.

05/09/2025: A highly recommended place; the pizzas are excellent, the crust is special and easy to digest. This is the first time my wife has eaten a whole pizza, yet they are very generous and have a nice topping.
