27/06/2026: One of the best restaurant experiences I have had, they are incredibly attentive and warm to their customers you feel well looked after and the food was fantastic, we will absolutely be back again soon. On another point for those with young children I cannot recommend this place enough the lady who took care to play with our son inside was so kind and engaged so well with him and he is normally quite shy with strangers so it is a testament to her sincerity. Thank you from myself and my wife for such a lovely evening and we look forward to coming again soon!

06/03/2026: A delightful and welcoming place for winter dining indoors. In summer, the outdoor seating becomes truly delightful. An Italian/Roman menu with traditional dishes and classics from our cuisine. The appetizers are varied and well-prepared, and paired with a glass of Prosecco, it's perfect. Very welcoming and professional staff. I recommend the chicken thighs with chicory—outstanding!

23/11/2025: We had lunch at this wonderful place... we enjoyed truly excellent dishes... from the aperitif with their superb homemade chips... to the appetizers... the first course, second course, and dessert were truly exquisite... exceptional... everything vegetarian and truly delicious, and each course was thoroughly explained. Congratulations. 👏👏 The wait staff were very kind and helpful, the owner is truly a special person. My compliments 🤝👏👏 I'm sorry to only give it 5 stars... they deserve much, much more... Located near Piazzale Cimitero Maggiore, this trattoria is a true gem for lovers of authentic Milanese cuisine. The warm welcome of Ugo and his wife, along with Elena, is the heart of the restaurant: they make you feel instantly at home, like family. Here's what you need to know to plan your visit: The cuisine: The menu is a celebration of typical Lombard dishes. The tripe is exceptional, the cassoeula is expertly prepared, and the risotto with ossobuco is simply unmissable. The boiled meats and cotechino with lentils are also excellent, prepared according to tradition. The menu: During the week, you can enjoy a convenient and tasty buffet, including takeout (reservations are recommended), while on Saturdays, the menu expands to include a wide selection of traditional à la carte dishes. Essential tip: Reservations are required. It's a very popular place, and finding a table can be difficult, especially on Saturday nights, so book early! 01/05/2026: Pizza delivered to my home. The pizza and the cardboard got mixed up, and I had to throw most of it away because the cardboard was so wet. The pizzas aren't bad, depending on the version they make. You either like it or you don't, there's no middle ground. The only problem is that the pizzas are too runny, and cardboard boxes aren't suitable for delivery.

02/05/2026: We ended up having lunch at Il Vagabondo by chance because we couldn't find a restaurant available. The location wasn't particularly beautiful, but it wasn't particularly bad, unlike the food and service: I ordered peppered mussels with red sauce, and that's not what I was served (I've attached a photo). The others ordered tartare, which I personally didn't try, but from their accounts, it wasn't fresh or good. I then ordered gnocchi (definitely store-bought) with pesto, which fortunately isn't anything to complain about. We were served by two different waitresses: the first was a "normal" waitress, while the second was quite absent-minded. I don't mean to offend, but she dropped cutlery, napkins, etc. several times. I wouldn't go back.

01/06/2026: We had a wonderful evening and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The waitress was absolutely charming, attentive, and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The pizzas were especially delicious—fresh, unique, and simply outstanding. To top it all off, we were presented with a selection of desserts, which included many different delicacies. The dessert was the perfect and delicious end to a truly wonderful evening. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality; we will definitely be back!

09/06/2026: Wife and I had dinner here tonight. Ordered the squid ink and mushroom risotto as well as the bufala gnocchi. All were fantastic, the gnocchi may be the best I have had. Seated quickly, served quickly, service was great 👌🏻

08/06/2026: The seafood carbonara was simply PERFECT, we went back on our last day to eat it again because it was so good. Service was okay, European style "I'll give you attention when I can" but without delays, quiet, traditional atmosphere, the bathroom could use a renovation.

03/06/2026: Always friendly and helpful. The food is well-plated and high-quality. The atmosphere is spacious, with a large dining room and a lovely outdoor terrace. Plenty of parking. Excellent 🍕. There is seating available in the large indoor dining room and on the outdoor terrace. In both cases, the service is always very good, and the atmosphere ensures proper distances between tables so that diners aren't too close to one another.
