26/06/2025: Spectacular pizza, top flavors, you can feel the products used are fresh and of excellent quality, they put passion into it. Giulio the pizza chef is number 1 and the manager Enrico is a guy with great determination and enthusiasm, every time I come back the pizza is always better! Continuously evolving positively. Very good price, I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a REAL pizza.

21/06/2025: Scardaci is a historic name in Catania and the ice cafè in via etnea is a point of reference. The place combines an ice cream shop and a small café together and has outdoor tables. The granita is excellent, also available in special flavors such as prickly pear, the brioche is excellent, and the ice creams are fabulous. The small pastry shop and the hot food shop are also excellent, the café is very good and despite its small size offers a good selection of hot and cold drinks. The staff is friendly but unfortunately not very present at the tables, especially those on via Etnea. There is also a display case with small items for sale (mainly cups and mugs).

The lights, the furnishings and the background music create the perfect context to enjoy the evening. The cuisine is the real strong point: every dish we tried impressed us with the quality and the balance of flavors. Fresh ingredients, careful presentations and interesting combinations that respect tradition but with that original touch that makes the difference. From start to finish, everything was excellent. A round of applause also for the service: attentive, courteous and very prepared. The waiter who followed us advised us with great professionalism, also helping us in the choice of wines, always with discretion and kindness. An experience that we will definitely repeat. 11/05/2025: Embarrassing disorganization, Saturday evening, 3 of us behind the counter, waiting 25 minutes for a piece of focaccia and the staff absolutely incapable of recognizing priorities. More than 10 people passed me and, even though I pointed it out, I was repeatedly ignored No, I blame the staff but the organization behind it... I repeat: embarrassing not to be organized knowing that you are the only bar open on Saturday evenings. I recommend it only if you have no other alternatives.

Fue tan hermoso que pedimos una botella llena de vino blanco y nos sentamos al sol durante dos horas disfrutando del sol y las vistas. Tuvimos suerte ya que tuvimos una mesa justo en el borde, así que tuvimos las mejores vistas. Deberíamos haber comido allí ya que la comida se veía bien como salió. Muy amable personal de lujo bar y restaurante. No te lo pierdas cuando estés en Capri.

27/05/2025: I returned to Pasticceria Martesana in the Sant’Agostino area after having been there in the past for breakfast, and I can confirm: this pastry shop is a guarantee. This time I chose a marocchino with oat milk and two cream cannoncini, and I must say that I left satisfied in every aspect. The marocchino was prepared with care: the creaminess of the foam was perfect and the taste of the coffee was well balanced, intense but not bitter. The choice of oat milk added a sweet and light note that married perfectly with the aroma of the coffee. The cream cannoncini… a real delight! The puff pastry was crumbly to the right point, crunchy without being dry, and the custard inside was velvety, with a full but never cloying taste. You can clearly perceive the high quality of the raw materials and the expert hand of those who prepare them. The place is elegant but welcoming, with a dream dessert counter: every cake and every mignon is a small visual masterpiece, so much so that it is almost difficult to choose.
