The place, both calm and authentic, surprises with its peaceful and neat atmosphere. The service is impeccable: attentive, fast and warm. The establishment is of exemplary cleanliness, with easy access for people in wheelchairs and nearby parking, which is rare in the area. The location is ideal for a break on the road, particularly towards the nearby ski resorts such as Sestriere, Sansicario or Clavière. There is also a beautiful sunny terrace and a pleasant view of the surrounding mountains. Things to do in the surrounding area: Skiing and snowboarding in the Via Lattea area (Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, etc.) Hiking and mountain biking in the summer around the Échelle pass and the Clarée valley Historic walk through the charming village of Cesana Torinese Observation of alpine fauna in the natural park of Val Troncea A place that I recommend without hesitation for a relaxing break or a convivial moment in all simplicity❤️. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect stop on the way to the Italian ski resorts We stopped at Cardo for a break with a cool drink, and the experience exceeded expectations. 04/05/2025: We came to enjoy a long weekend at the Pahor hotel in a double room. Before our arrival the staff was responsive and answered all our questions. On arrival, the welcome was impeccable. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. A buffet breakfast with quality ingredients, a charming setting. We had the chance to eat at the restaurant on Saturday evening, perfect and friendly service and high quality cuisine, with a special mention for the scorpionfish which was excellent. The location of the hotel is ideal, quiet in nature but close to all amenities and large cities (Grado, Gorizia, Trieste) and Trieste airport. We had an ideal romantic stay. A big thank you to the hotel staff, everyone was lovely. We recommend with your eyes closed :)

04/05/2025: My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel to visit Trieste and Slovenia. We found it well-kept and clean. The staff were kind, especially the girl at the reception (I think the owner's daughter) who was able to give us various information and directions on places to visit. On the second night, due to my husband's neck problems, we asked for a harder pillow and they immediately worked to get it for us! Good breakfast (only flaw, I've found better ones especially for variety). I can't judge the restaurant having never eaten in a hotel, but the environment is warm and welcoming. Recommended

26/05/2025: Encantador restaurante en lo alto de la montaña sobre el lago Orta. Nuestro grupo disfrutó de un delicioso almuerzo al aire libre que consiste en parte de quesos caseros y carnes antes de una caminata colina abajo. El interior del restaurante es rústico y acogedor.

21/05/2025: Io e mio marito ci siamo fermati qui dopo una bellissima passeggiata al santuario, abbiamo provato la degustazione e devo dire che davvero consiglierei questo ristorante. Tutto ciò che ci hanno portato è stato cucinato con cura e passione, si sentiva ad ogni assaggio. Il personale è cordiale e sorridente, uno dei punti fondamentali in questo lavoro. Il luogo sembra incantato, incastonato in un bosco con gli animali da vedere, tutto molto ben curato.

19/06/2025: In Crema it is very popular and they know it all the way to the gates of Milan. It is a nice place, open every day, with various rooms, furnished differently, but very characteristic. The garden in front of the place is also nice, more suitable for the summer. The sandwiches are good; the cocktails are much less so, as is the aperitif.

29/05/2025: Ci siamo recati in questo locale ma credo abbia cambiato gestione. Non abbiamo preso pizza ma solo settore ristorante, sulla carta proposte interessanti ma qualitativamente il cibo non è granché. Locale gestito da cinesi, che sono comunque molto gentili e cordiali. Il locale è molto bello e pulito.

05/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la Prima Comunione di mia figlia presso questo ristorante: il ricevimento è stato curato nei minimi dettagli, tutto buonissimo, personale molto gentile e disponibile, gli invitati si sono complimentati per il pranzo e la qualità dei cibi.. in sintesi una esperienza eccellente!

23/02/2025: Nothing to say about the quality of the food and wine, courteous and customer-focused service. you are welcomed with the verbal proposal of the dishes on a taquino, you are not provided with a menu with prices displayed. The only flaw is at the time of payment where you expect different prices from a café trattoria. We found it slightly expensive but not excessively so.

The food is very good, the products are mostly homemade with raw materials of their production. Well done well done. 👍🏻
