I'll tell it like it is. In my opinion the best ice cream in Rome! At least the best I was able to try and I didn't leave anything out! Incredibly good and clear milk taste, I had tears in my eyes. Also hand-whipped whipped cream on top. The selection of products was excellent. To be honest, I don't even remember exactly which varieties I had, but I think you really can't go wrong here, great!

I have already try more than 15 pistachio gelato in Rome and here is the best so far, Not to sweet and very tasty! Same for the dark chocolate 😋 They do avocado gelato was very nice too.

È sempre divertente leggere recensioni, come quella sotto la mia, che lamentano nei gelati difetti che invece sono indizi di qualità… ad esempio, il gelato che non si squaglia non è migliore di quello che si squaglia in fretta, anzi, è esattamente il contrario. Il cornetto algida può stare due ore sotto il sole, perché è pieno di addensanti. Ma quando hai passato la vita a mangiare mberda, la cioccolata ti sembra amara… torniamo a noi. Stasera per la prima volta ho preso una crêpe. È stata una rivelazione. La crema gianduia era da premio, la base integrale dava una ruvidità ed una consistenza sconosciute. Avevamo visto una xacata di film di w. Allen al cinema Adriano, venti euro buttati al cesso, e la crêpe ci ha riconciliati col mondo. Grazie.

We were coming back to our hotel on a hot October day and stopped in. The gelato was good, the dark chocolate was especially good. The outdoor seating was nice.

Tocco Ferro

23/03/2024: Having always lived in the area, I didn't expect such a "gem". Yes, because Tocco Ferro is an incredible discovery, in an area populated mostly by tourist restaurants. Small place, which respects the correct distances between tables. Menu with the right number of courses, evidently the result of careful selection. The starters are already top, prawns in sauce (praise) and courgette flowers stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and prawns. We choose two first courses and here too we clap our hands: spaghetti with garlic and oil and prawns, excellent, paccheri with cheese and pepper and asparagus (praise). We then have a fry (fresh fish cooked to perfection) to finish with two still excellent desserts (praise for the apple with cinnamon). If the kitchen is managed with great skill by an excellent chef, the service in the dining room is no different, great courtesy and equally friendly. In short, we really liked Tocco Ferro, we highly recommend it and as far as we are concerned we will be back soon.
