19/11/2025: Borlengo! Simple yet exquisite food with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. The chef/owner is incredibly kind.
An experience you definitely haven't had before. Reservations are required because the place is tiny, but if you book more than a day in advance, you can ask for classic or fish dishes not on the regular menu.

11/06/2025: I went with a friend at lunchtime to this bar.
As soon as I entered it was as if I bothered them to be there.
There was an elderly gentleman behind the counter who seemed to be doing me a favor.
I take the granita, the coffee, a little water.
Moral of the story nine euros.
A bar with such an old fashioned atmosphere, with such simple, normal things to eat.
But they seemed like they were doing themselves a favor.
Overall elsewhere things cost less with more smiles.
They are also made in a better way.

11/12/2025: I went for breakfast in early December 2025. I met a gentleman in his 50s or 60s. I asked for a cappuccino and a pastry. A pastry without cream or chocolate or anything similar, and they offered me one with jam 🤔🫣. I was asked if I wanted a drop of still or sparkling water. I chose still and they brought me sparkling water 😕. I remained seated at the table inside the bar because of the cold. It's a shame there are only half a dozen tables, and they fill up quickly, and at a certain point, you almost feel like you're in the way, especially when you've finished your meal. Receipt cannot be produced because it wasn't received.
07/12/2025: I had a great time stopping in this truly wonderful place and I invite you not to miss the opportunity for a truly precious stop.

22/09/2025: Excellent place, with indoor and outdoor tables. The croissants with fig jam and walnuts are sublime. The pastries are excellent. They also have savory options, if I'm not mistaken. There's table service and good staff.
The prices are quite reasonable.

08/12/2025: A must-see for every Viareggio resident. Without a doubt, the best rotisserie in town. Fair prices and superb food, especially the roast potatoes. They also offer gluten-free options.
In addition to takeout, they also offer the option of dining in a beautifully appointed setting in true Viareggio Art Nouveau style.
Highly recommended for everyone, tourists and locals alike (though I don't think there's a single Viareggio resident in the entire city who hasn't eaten at Fila at least once!)
31/08/2025: A well-stocked rotisserie; the roast chicken and potatoes are excellent, but everything else is good, too. You can also eat on-site.

08/08/2025: Locale consigliatissimo, ottimi piatti e ottimo servizio. Abbiamo cenato in 3 senza prenotazione, il loro primo pensiero è stato il cibo per la bambina (cosa non comune visto che in molte occasioni le attese sono molto prolungate).
Antipasto abbondante e di qualità con salumi buonissimi, così come i primi piatti con delle paste buonissime. Le 10-15 euro in più pagate sul conto rispetto ad altri locali che offrono portate simili vengono ripagate pienamente dalla qualità e dalla cortesia.
31/07/2025: Bel locale ad inizio paese, curato e accogliente. Cibo di qualità e servizio abbastanza cortese. Ricco antipasto Plistia (straordinari i salumi, buoni i formaggi, da migliorare i fritti, a nostro parere). Poi interessanti codetti al Montepulciano con salsiccia, patate e scamorza e una razione davvero generosa di pecorino alla piastra. Prezzo corretto.

04/12/2025: We stopped by chance with the basketball team after the game, and it was a nice surprise. We were late, but the owner was very kind and waited for us. The pizza was really good, thin crust, and for those who like to try something new, they even had special toppings. Nice place, and the price was reasonable.
01/12/2025: It's a guarantee if you want to eat good pizza.
