20/07/2025: This place was recommended to us, and, impressed by the other reviews, we went for dinner on a Saturday. There were seven of us in the entire restaurant, and the service was good. The wine tasting was quite interesting. Unfortunately, the menu fell short of our expectations. We basically had sardines and focaccia, but they weren't as good as the ones at the local bakery. Everything we were given wasn't particularly good, particularly sophisticated, or even exceptionally high quality. In short, the garden vegetables don't justify the €90 per person. Maybe we were wrong not to check the menu, but that's something we never do in this type of restaurant. Anyway, lesson learned.

27/05/2025: We were there last weekend to celebrate my daughter. Really nice place, excellent food even for those who don't know Indian cuisine like us, we tried the various menus (I recommend the fish one, but there is also a vegetarian menu) all really delicious. Really kind and always helpful staff. Even though it was an Indian birthday (so confirmation that the food is good), they were always quick to serve. We will definitely come back to try something else. Well done! bye Fabio

01/07/2025: Great experience, we spent a little more than you usually spend in diners, but we wanted to try more things so it was fine. Maybe a little weak on some appetizers in my opinion, but the bao are definitely worth trying! Phenomenal sandwiches, an explosion of flavors, all top marks. Let's not even talk about the desserts, the other reviews are over-the-top in praising them, rightly so! Definitely worth trying. Only the location is a little awkward to find parking, but a little ingenuity is all it takes!

Homemade ice cream with over 100 years of activity, many flavors and very good, you can taste the milk and everything else. Every so often they have new flavors that I recommend trying. The ice cream shop is equipped with services, tables both inside and outside, they do not have table service. Friendly and kind staff, family business. For locals who know other Arnoldo ice cream shops, each ice cream shop has a different production and the ice cream is very different. Large portions, price in line with other ice cream shops.

19/06/2025: I went to dinner with my girlfriend, very nice place, welcoming staff; good appetizers, only flaw, a "Florentine of Irish Black Angus, marbled and tender" for €10 per 100g (the only price not shown on the menu and not indicated by the waitress when ordering) inedible, covered in nerves and certainly not tender, served already cut with the bone on the side (hopefully the boning should be done at the table in front of the customer, if requested). Given the type of place, a little more transparency and quality of the meat served would be necessary.

01/06/2025: Ultra takeaway pizzeria, in the sense that they really give out a lot of lizza. But there are also tables in the dining room or outside. The menu has endless pizzas and different doughs. The pizza is thin but it's good and the prices are really great. I always go back willingly.

21/06/2025: Restaurant approved with flying colors. In times when it is increasingly rare to be able to say "we ate well", here substance and appearance happily go hand in hand. Menu that ranges beyond the classic Piacenza proposals, which are not lacking anyway. Today, already knowing the traditional local dishes well, we opted for the fish alternatives. Dishes cared for, in taste and appearance. Attentive service. Mise en place without frills but precise and of quality (and with a nice tablecloth... no runner, nor "bare" table, thank you). I was the only one drinking, so I opted for the house Ortrugo, which was pleasant. Ventilated and bright terrace. Really honest price, also returning to the initial premise. I will be back. I recommend it to those who read! 👍

02/07/2025: Excellent structure with modern and clean rooms. There is also a restaurant where we ate very well. The owner and the employees are very attentive, helpful and kind. A stone's throw from the center but in a quiet area.

29/06/2025: B&B recently renovated, large and functional rooms. Beautiful garden and excellent parking available inside the structure. Good Italian breakfast. Friendly and helpful management. Good restaurant with well-executed dishes. Excellent quality/price ratio. Good location.

21/06/2025: It's still relatively rare to find the hipster style of coffee shop in Italy, so good to find this one. Pleasant open relaxed space. However, they can't make a flat white. Their version is a vast weak milky lukewarm brew (even when explicitly requested hot). To their credit, they agreed to remake it. Not trusting their skill, my wife just asked for a cappuccino instead. What she received was, in her words, "probably the worst coffee I've ever had." Just milk with the vaguest hint of coffee. On the positive side, my black americano was fine.

04/07/2025: Great place to stop on the way. Kids playground was perfect to distract the little ones as we waited for food. Limited selection of food, as pizza was not available.

25/06/2025: Really great workers' menu at a super competitive price (first course, second course, side dish, water, coffee €15). The wait was a bit long given the small number of people but the service was attentive and kind. If I were to be in the area again I would definitely return!

25/06/2025: Truły terrible food. While the service was efficient, what they brought out was an afront to Italian cuisine. I don’t say that lightly as a restaurant owner myself. I really don’t know how the owners of this place can let the cooks serve what i ate. Seafood that was dry and tasted as though it had been bought frozen. Salad and other contorni that you wouldn’t serve to your worst enemy. Avoid this place and take a dip in the lake instead.
