A very nice place, warmly decorated, where you can spend time in good company. The dishes are excellent, with the amazing panissa being more than generous. Service is good and timely.

Yesterday, a group of friends and I visited this osteria. We had a wonderful time with the set menu featuring traditional Piedmontese classics and the fantastic panissa vercellese, served tableside in a copper pot. The owner was extremely accommodating with food allergy requests. We'll definitely be back.

18/01/2026: On our way back from a trip, we decided to stop and stay a night in Vercelli. We found a room at "Il Giardinetto" and booked it. It's close to the center, in a quiet area, and not too expensive. But the real surprise was dinner, with an unusual seafood option for the area. I won't go into detail; the tuna Mackintosh appetizer was simply fabulous. Then we decided to try something off the menu, for two people: sea bass in salt. I've never had such delicious sea bass!
27/11/2025: If Ayrton Senna and Carol Alt stopped here for a bite to eat years ago, I have to go too. The food is definitely good. 😙

12/04/2026: Birthday dinner on Saturday evening, despite the place being full, the service was quick and the dishes were excellent (we ordered 3 fish dishes), and they still brought us some focaccia with cured meats before the dishes we ordered arrived, which were offered on the house. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere could be updated, but we would definitely return.
