24/05/2025: We happened to be there during the Meliga Day festival and had lunch like we hadn't had in a long time. The veal with tuna sauce, the agnolotti with roast sauce, the braised meat with nebbiolo on polenta and finally the bunet were a magnificent sequence of flavors. We came back to celebrate our birthday, 16 of us, we ate very well and the guests were all happy. A guarantee of quality!!

07/05/2025: Raramente mi capita di scrivere recensioni ma l'Osteria dal Merlo merita un voto super. Ci sono capitata per caso con un'amica e abbiamo condiviso vari piatti, uno più buono dell'altro. Prodotti di qualità e sapori che si amalgamavano tra loro, esaltandosi a vicenda. Anche la carta dei vini è ampia e non ci ha deluso, nonostante abbiamo optato per una soluzione economica. A corona di un pranzo che definirei perfetto, la gentilezza e simpatia del personale che ci ha consigliato e fatto sentire a nostro agio dall'inizio al conto.

01/07/2025: It was fantastic. We were impressed. It doesn’t look like much but the service is great. The food is fantastic. The bathroom is clean. The kitchen is clean. The food tasted amazing. They are extremely friendly.

30/06/2025: A beautiful cafe serving Italian and brunch menus with a great coffee and drinks selection. The presentation of our dishes was immaculate and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The star hosts were the two dogs who welcome you and wander around without bothering you but you cannot help but bother them as they roam freely within the cafe. I loved everything about this cafe and would return the next time I visit Positano.

23/06/2025: The location is enchanting. Good table service. Excellent table presentation, dishes and courses. Personally, I was not convinced by the cuisine. Let me explain: compared to the fabulous quality of the food chosen for the courses, I do not think the cuisine did justice to the expected flavors (seafood menu in my case). The price, given the location and the general standard, is not too high. Perhaps my choice from the menu was not right. I reserve the right to re-evaluate the place, perhaps also drawing from the meat menu. Finally, I am convinced that the place is perfect for organizing events of all kinds as described on their website. I am also sure that the cuisine is greatly re-evaluated for solutions that imply service for many people such as weddings, corporate events, etc. In conclusion, a weekday evening with the family is not enough to judge the high potential that the restaurant has to have a full 5-star rating.

20/06/2025: We were there for a wedding, when we arrived in the room to eat we noticed that there was no place for the child, we pointed out the problem and they told us that the 4 year old could eat in the corner, I objected saying that the other end of the table was free and therefore to have people climb up and their answer is behind there is the table of the bride and groom and it is not possible, so my husband had to share the place at the head of the table with the child. The time for the second course arrives and they do not even ask me if the child wanted the second course, shortly after we had all finished the second course and collected the plates I send my husband to ask for some strawberries (since they were on the menu for dessert) and finally they bring them to me. Respect for my son zero, he is only a child. I would never go back there again.

22/07/2025: Generally friendly staff, rooms and bathrooms somewhat dated but clean, noise levels (very) high due to the close proximity to the supermarket and the street. The newly installed air conditioning in the rooms wasn't ideal. Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with the room billing.

11/07/2025: Food is good, but service could be better. - charge €2 for tap water - antipasti didn’t come first, came altogether with the plates - we returned 1 plate, didn’t like. It was charged nonetheless and no courtesy offered.. and owner was really rude Bottom line: most of the food is good, but there are a lot of traps eating there.

07/04/2025: A refined and inclusive dining experience at Zamú Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zamú Restaurant, and I must say that the experience was absolutely memorable. From the first moment, the atmosphere of the venue was refined and elegant, creating an ideal environment for a special evening or an important occasion. The furnishings with attention to detail, the soft lighting and the arrangement of the tables contribute to creating an atmosphere of pleasant intimacy and refinement. Another aspect that positively struck me was the friendliness and preparation of the staff. We were greeted with a genuine smile and accompanied to our table with professionalism. Throughout the dinner, the waiters were attentive to our needs, ready to answer any questions about the dishes and provide valuable advice. Their expertise in describing the ingredients and preparation of each course added a touch of value to the overall experience. A detail that I particularly appreciated is the attention that the Zamú Restaurant reserves for customers with specific dietary needs, such as the availability of gluten-free options. This demonstrates great sensitivity and inclusiveness, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the culinary offering without worries. Moving on to the food, our choice was based on two starters and two first courses, and I can enthusiastically confirm that everything was very good indeed. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every tasting, and the chef's skill in combining them resulted in tasty and well-presented dishes. The starters were able to whet the palate with delicate and refined flavours, while the first courses won us over with their richness and originality. You could perceive particular care in the preparation and attention to detail that made each course an authentic delight. In conclusion, my experience at the Zamú Restaurant was extremely positive. If you are looking for a refined place where you can enjoy excellent cuisine with friendly and prepared service, and perhaps you also need gluten free options, I can only highly recommend you try this restaurant. I am convinced that you too will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and attention that Zamú dedicates to its customers.

10/07/2025: The pizza dough was very good, as was the toppings, except for the fact that there was a lot of oil, really a lot. The place was small and without air conditioning.

27/06/2025: The food alone deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, neither the service nor the ambiance are up to scratch. Dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant, except in an uncomfortable side area. The value for money is disastrous. We won't be dining there again. It's a shame for the chef.

12/06/2025: Discovered by chance and spontaneously. A must for gourmets in Lana, as the cuisine is worthy of a Michelin star. A competent service team works in an attractive ambiance, and the creative cuisine will delight everyone. Highly recommended!
