14/09/2025: Nothing to complain about, everything was more than satisfactory, from the service (a plus because 90% of the staff were very young, so they also give young people a chance to grow in the environment and advance their careers) to the food (generous portions, both in terms of the food itself and the seasonings; for example, I had the tagliatelle with truffle, which had plenty of both tagliatelle and truffle, truly excellent), I highly recommend it!

05/11/2025: Best meal of my life! So nice we had to go twice, two days in a row! Especially since the handwritten menu rotates every day. The food full of flavor, attention to detail and passion. I highly recommend the Ragu alla Bolognese (get the house made Tagliatelle pasta) and Zucchine Ripene Di Carne(Beef & Zuchini). The atmosphere cozy, welcoming, makes you feel like you found the best hidden gem in the countryside of Tuscany. And the service, well Stefano made us feel like family. Without asking he went through every item on the menu and described it to us to make sure we had the best meal possible. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you lived close enough to be a regular. Thank you for becoming a memory my wife and I will cherish forever…we hope to come back as soon as we can make it back to Tuscany. Grazie mille!

23/08/2025: Best gelato shop in Turin! If it were downtown, there'd be a line with a number! Authentic, artisanal flavors and Sicilian delicacies on par with the local ones (if not better), from gelato con la 🥐 to granita and even cannoli.

04/10/2025: Last night, three friends and I had dinner at this magical place, with wonderful, flavorful dishes. The maître d' was kind, attentive, and very sociable, and he took us on this journey, as was the other waiter, who was always efficient. Thank you, you're a wonderful team. 22/09/2025: L’imbuto was a truly joyful experience. The wait staff were friendly and clearly having fun presenting the dishes as they got progressively more whimsical (I will not spoil some highlights with pictures). The food was inventive and amazing, particularly the amount of flavor packed into the various sauces. The wine list was extensive. And finally, I got to meet Cristiano Tomei himself, a man who I’ve watched for years on ItaliaSquisita videos. He was just as gregarious and fun in real life. One thing to note is that the restaurant recently relocated to about 10 minutes/3km outside of the city’s walls. It is very easy to find a taxi from Lucca to the restaurant, but not easy at all to find a taxi back. Pre-arrange a return ride.

23/09/2025: Upon entering, we were greeted with a very friendly welcome and helpful staff. The beer selection is excellent. The food is delicious: we ordered appetizers, sandwiches, and a main course, the size of which was recommended, which was appreciated, for our young daughter. Excellent and attentive service. We had a lovely evening.

05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful lunch at Bad Turmbach! We had lunch at Bad Turmbach and were completely delighted. Very friendly, attentive service and top-quality cuisine. The steak tartare and venison ragout tagliatelle were excellent, followed by the Turmbach trout and, for my wife, the braised beef cheek – both perfectly prepared and delicious. A wonderful place to enjoy – we'll definitely be back!

27/09/2025: We had dinner at the Bad Turmbach restaurant twice, and what can I say... it was fantastic! Excellent service – wine list and advice = first-rate! The dishes were freshly prepared and delicious! And for dessert, the Zirmer cake – I'm lost for words: Outstanding!!!!! We'll be back on our next trip to South Tyrol!!! Great, great, great!!!

04/09/2025: We ate at this mountain restaurant located at 2,000 meters above the village of Alleghe. The view is breathtaking, but they don't need to do anything special to achieve this because nature has done its job very well, and it's not the most important issue in my opinion. The restaurant doesn't take reservations for outside dining unless you're in a group of at least 6 to 8 people, according to a phone conversation I had with an employee. When we arrived, we were greeted by young, smiling and pleasant waiters. This was a positive point that raised my rating from 2 to 3. We sat at a large table outside (there are only large tables for 8). To start our meal, we chose the cheese and charcuterie board with fried polenta. We had a Spritz and a red Dolomite beer. For the main courses, we chose a Viennese-style breaded escalope with polenta and paccheri with mushrooms and bacon. We drank a house wine. I'll start with the positives: The cheese and charcuterie board was good quality The meat was tender and lightly fried The beer was good The bread basket was okay What wasn't great at all: A paltry quantity for the cheese and charcuterie board at this price The pasta was stuck together and undercooked, a disgrace to be in Italy, the bacon wasn't even a whole slice, and the mushrooms were bland. And especially the plate, at this altitude when it's windy at 2,000 m, it gets cold in less than a minute. So, when it's undercooked and cold on top of that, I'll let you imagine the quality of the food. And it was served 5 minutes after receiving the meat platter. An oversight? So, do we cook pasta in a hurry or not? And as I always do, I ate the plate to be completely objective. Unacceptable and disappointing. The polenta was the same, a flat plate, so it became cold like the pasta. And above all, very salty. Just to humbly inform the cooks, pasta and polenta are served in soup plates, and in the case of a mountain restaurant, since they want to do "gastronomic style," in warm plates. The house wine was nothing special. At the end of the meal, I expressed my grievances to a waitress when she asked me if everything had gone well. She was kind enough to apologize, but since the problem wasn't hers, I asked her to see a manager. Apparently, there's no manager in this restaurant, since no one deigned to come to our table. Conclusion: The price of 75 euros is, in my opinion, overpriced for the overall quality. The panoramic view can't erase everything. In comparison, for twice the price, we ate at a gourmet Argentinian meat restaurant in Verona, with a starter of Pata Negra ham (double the size of our platter), 300g Black Angus beef fillets, high-quality wine, digestifs, and aperitifs. This, to me, demonstrates the glaring disparity between tourist spots where they take too much advantage of tourists, whether foreign or Italian. Tried once, but not twice.

03/09/2025: Very nice place The food is amazing I recommend the polenta with mushroom, but you can also order yourself polenta and cheese !!! The view over the Civeta Mountain and Mount Pelmo is amazing😍

02/10/2025: We were here this evening, having been referred to us through an acquaintance. We had fondue and polenta from the Aosta Valley. Unfortunately, the flavors were a bit bland, probably due to the Fontina cheese not being aged for long enough. The waiter was very professional, but unfortunately, the chef should be in the kitchen instead of in the dining room, as happened at times, with an inappropriate attitude. The food was mediocre, prices average. I probably won't be back.

A special thanks goes to the staff, always professional and attentive, especially Clemente and Vittorio, who accompanied us with great availability, expertise, and kindness through every stage of the planning. The food was exceptional, created by Michelin-starred chef Rosanna Marziale, and the service was simply impeccable: everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for making our day a truly unforgettable experience.

11/10/2025: Our wedding at San Bartolomeo was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. From our first visit, we were captivated by this oasis surrounded by greenery, with enchanting views that created a magical atmosphere. The organization was impeccable, and the entire staff was kind, professional, and attentive to our needs; especially Clemente and Vittorio, who looked after us attentively from the very beginning. The cuisine exceeded every expectation, with dishes featuring attention to detail, top-quality ingredients, and balanced flavors that captivated all our guests. San Bartolomeo gave us a dream wedding that we will cherish forever.

19/10/2025: We ordered two pizzas and two other dishes. We were told the meals couldn't be served at the same time. There were about eight other guests in the room at the time. My O Sole Mio pizza was served after just a short time, which surprised me greatly. It was by far the worst pizza I've ever had. Reheated, with rock-hard dough that was charred around the edges and dried-up cheese. After a while, the other two dishes were served. After about 30 minutes, the second pizza was served fresh, as were those of the other guests. A sign that my O Sole Mio was already old. The apricot dumplings we ordered for dessert were served half-raw. Absolute cheek.

23/09/2025: We had dinner there, and I highly recommend it. We've rarely experienced such super-friendly service, and the food was absolutely delicious. We'd be happy to come back.

The location is breathtaking, with meticulous attention to every detail and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere that made the day truly magical. I especially want to mention Fabiana, Elena, Ciro, Giulia, and Antonella, whose kindness, passion, and dedication made everything even more special. The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent—everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. It was a true pleasure to be part of such a well-organized and emotionally charged event.
