06/07/2025: Highly not recommended for lovers of good fish. Everything Bland, outdated price lists (Wine list).

03/07/2025: Total disappointment. We return after a year and find the quality completely changed. Let's start with the fact that we order a Lugana for 24 euros and they subsequently correct us the price, increased by 4 euros (due to lack of an updated price list), therefore 28 euros for the ca dei frati. We order an appetizer and a dish of the day, tagliolini with lobster, at the modest price of 28 euros each... and you certainly don't expect a starred dish but at least "tasty"... instead a dish arrives completely without salt, rubbery fish and we find ourselves with great regret leaving everything. The distraught waitress asks us for an explanation of this and we delicately explain the "discontent". The icing on the cake comes at the end... when instead of asking us for the total of 133 euros, we are offered the cash payment of 125 euros. With all the good will in the world... it seemed like a joke to us. Lack of attention to the customer, no mediation and in addition a lot of Cunning at the time of the Final bill .. Too bad!

10/07/2025: i have been there last evening. This place is amazing: exactly what I was loking for. Fresh, great ingredients, pizza made in neapolitanian style, with dough resting for many hours. Great service in addition. It is top 3 pizza places I have ever found in Italy!!!! And I would say, probably top 10 in the world (and I travel a lot!). I would love to see such quality everywhere! And the fact that tou have scissors for pizza…. only greatest places jave it and understand why. The reservation is needed, as the place is full. I recommend everyone in the area to visit it. I drove to Tarquinia only for this reason, and it was worth it!

26/06/2025: More than positive experience for the quality of the food. Excellent pizzas with excellent dough. Fast and professional service I recommend booking because there is a lot of demand and the place, although very nice, is small. In summer you can enjoy outdoor tables along one of the most beautiful avenues in the city in the historic centre.

31/07/2025: Quelle belle découverte à proximité de notre hôtel ! Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes retournés deux fois de suite . Nous avons pu découvrir des spécialités comme le risotto aux myrtilles (que nous avons depuis refait chez nous ) ou encore le poisson en croûte de pistache . L'assiette de fruits fe mers était également délicieuse. Attention cependant : la carte touristique (beaucoup moins originale ) n'etait pas la même que la carte italienne ! (Nous nous en sommes aperçus car mon conjoint a réservé une fois en italien directement auprès du restaurant et une autre fois en anglais par téléphone : nous avons du demander à changer pour avoir la carte italienne . )

15/07/2025: Fondi, a welcoming town I wasn't familiar with. But the greatest discovery was finding myself dining in a café-bistro without any great expectations and discovering a comfortable atmosphere complemented by the welcoming professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I was then immersed in a journey of taste sensations through simple, refined, and imaginative (but never overdone) cuisine that I was truly delighted to discover. We returned the following day. Gianni, the owner, conveyed to us all the love and knowledge he puts into his work, with the appropriate, yet unpretentious, arrogance befitting someone who chooses the best for their customers and therefore deserves to let them taste it.

08/08/2025: After years and years of being loyal to the same pastry shop, we've finally found a new favorite that has won over the whole family. The quality of the ice cream and desserts is simply exceptional, with authentic flavors and impeccable presentation. The last cake I ordered, a lemon cookie—because I was so impressed with the ice cream—was fabulous! The owners are wonderful, welcoming, and passionate about their work. The staff is always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every detail. My sincere congratulations for creating such a special place. Keep up the good work, guys! See you soon! :)

08/08/2025: We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here. The service was incredible, the food delicious, and the atmosphere was as if we had been enchanted. The chef, Rosaria, is very talented and exudes a wonderful sense of calm. Simply fantastic.

24/07/2025: In the small hamlet of Montecosaro Scalo, this place offered us an incredible experience of class and taste. The menu draws on the culinary and cultural roots of the area, with refined yet simple presentation. Among the best first courses we've ever tasted, without euphemisms. The place also includes a function room and a wine bar, offering options for enjoying the excellent offerings. The host is exceptionally gracious and kind, which further enhanced our experience.

14/07/2025: Sono stata in questa location x il matrimonio dei miei cugini.... Avendo fatto una cerimonia civile abbiamo goduto della bellissima atmosfera dalle 18 in poi..... Allestimento romanticissimo curato in ogni particolare Personale top Cibo per ogni gusto.... tutto buonissimo.....nessuna nota negativa anzi.... potessi scrivere ancora aggiungerei altro... 03/07/2025: Matrimonio di mia figlia. Un luogo che si affaccia sullo splendido mare di Pizzo. Dalla terrazza, molto curata, abbiamo goduto di un tramonto sul mare spettacolare. Servixio e qualità del cibo di altissimo livello.

22/06/2025: La Locanda del Lupo is a quiet place in the historic center of Orvieto. It is a place that presents itself simply in its typical Umbrian architecture. It has furnishing elements in some cases out of context but a nice atmosphere. The food is good, especially the first courses, recommended those with fresh truffle. Simple service and friendly staff. Excellent location towards the main points of interest of the city

12/06/2025: Great place to have dinner in Orvieto, the food is excellent as in the whole region, excellent pasta and meat. The only negative note was that as soon as we finished dinner we had to run away because it was an exaggerated mosquito net :/

06/07/2025: This place is not very suitable for walkers. We stayed here only because there was no other accommodation option along the Cammino dei Briganti. There were four of us. The lady told us that the air conditioning was “natural”, and it’s true, because you sleep in a cellar that has been transformed into accommodation. But the space is very limited, especially for four people, and there is only one bathroom. The windows are tiny, the air is heavy and there was a smell of mold. In fact, a friend of mine coughed all night and was also sick with nausea. I myself had the feeling of being in a tunnel, so much so that I couldn’t sleep well. The bathroom was always wet, you couldn’t tell where the water was coming from, and it also smelled bad. The sink was clogged. We pointed it out at least twice, but in the end it wasn’t fixed. We had to wash our teeth and face using the bidet. Breakfast was served only after 8:00, but for walkers that’s not a convenient time. We asked if it was possible to bring it forward, but they said no. There was no way to make do on our own: there was no kettle or coffee machine. We stayed two nights and also had dinner there. The appetizers were always the same: packaged cold cuts bought at the supermarket. When I kindly asked for a cup of hot water (since there was no kettle), I waited at least a quarter of an hour and the lady answered me nervously, saying that "they weren't there just for us". There are cheaper and much more hospitable structures in the area: look for Eusebio Di Carlo's house. Mauro was very kind, he offered us a coffee in the rain, while the bar of this structure was closed.
