Because after the exertions of a long day of walking, finding such a beautiful and well-kept place, and a truly warm welcome, is the best you could wish for. Because the rooms are stylish, in keeping with the setting. Because Anna's cooking isn't just good, it's amazing. And then she goes out of her way to help you, putting her heart and soul into it. I really want to return to this place.

I returned yesterday for dinner, after staying with a friend in April while we were hiking the Bandits' Trail. The place is wonderful and the food is top-notch. But above all, what brought us back was the hospitality of Anna and her staff: genuine friendliness, attentiveness, and always a kind word for everyone. Highly recommended.

We slept here for 2 nights in early May 2026. We walked the Caminno dei Briganti. This is a perfect place to stay. The room was fine, the welcome from Anna perfect, the food very tasty, and the location very beautiful. We walked from here to the top of the Murolongo, a long trek, beautiful, with still a lot of snow in early May. So, highly recommended 👍

We stayed here during the third stage of the Brigands' Trail, and the experience was truly special. Anna is a rare person: she welcomed us with open arms as if we were family. She's kind, friendly, and always available. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and to help, carefully answering any questions you may have about the trail and the wonderful places surrounding it. You can clearly sense that she does it with passion. The same passion is reflected in her cuisine: every dish is prepared with love and you can taste it. The inn, both inside and out, is simply spectacular, well-kept, and welcoming. Thanks also to all the staff, who are truly kind. A place that will remain in your heart and that I recommend to anyone walking this trail.

Excellent restaurant at the base camp for the Duchessa Mountains. Authentic dishes using top-notch local products! The owners offer exquisite hospitality. I also love visiting this place after a hike in the stunning local mountains.
