09/11/2025: Elegance, attention to detail, and quality ingredients characterize all of Gioré's dishes. We dined for two, sampling appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both seafood and meat. The persimmon cheesecake is a must-try. Everything was delicious. The only negative I'll mention because it's part of the experience: unfortunately, we found a considerable amount of mussels in the seafood first course. An oversight that, however, doesn't detract from the restaurant's caliber.

05/10/2025: We went to what was advertised as an authentic Italian restaurant and, based on the photos and reviews, were looking forward to appetizers and a delicious pasta dish. Unfortunately, there was only pizza to choose from, no appetizers, no alternatives, just various pizzas. The pizzas themselves were very good, I have to say, but when you go to an Italian restaurant and know they have pasta and appetizers, you're happy to try something other than just pizza. Because not everyone eats or likes pizza.

31/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated, we had three first courses, one amatriciana, two grice, a sparkling water and a still one and a portion of ham, 5 slices for a total of €54, a real steal €18 for a first course and 1 and a half slices each, not even at Cannavaciuolo. Some places should close down due to bankruptcy.

12/10/2025: We were passing through and found this pub via Google Maps. A well-maintained, beautiful, and unique place. Tables and seats are too close together; when it gets full, you'll be sitting in a cramped space, with people bumping into each other. A very extensive menu with many choices, but it's a shame the food isn't good quality. At least not all of it. The pizza is good, the piadinas are good, the rest is a disappointment. The chicken cut, one of those industrial "amadori" kebab-style ones, is horrible. The mixed meat platter was unsightly, and the meat was burnt and very tough. The baked potatoes were raw, some still cold inside, as if they hadn't defrosted. The grilled vegetables, "a simple thing to make," were some burned, others hadn't even seen the grill 😳!! The hamburger bun was good, but don't say the bread is homemade because it tastes like the packaged kind. Very little mozzarella, half-leaf lettuce, 1 poor sun-dried tomato, and the meat wasn't 100% overcooked, but unfortunately it was a mix of pork. (I'm sure of it because one of us is allergic and it didn't taste good.) It's a shame, it looked like a really good pub!

22/10/2025: We stopped at Po’stò Cafè in Pisa for breakfast, and it turned out to be one of those simple but really pleasant experiences that make traveling better. The place has a friendly and relaxed vibe, perfect for starting the day before exploring the city. The food was delicious and fresh—great coffee, pastries, and sandwiches, all at a very fair price. It really felt like excellent value for the money, especially considering how close it is to the main attractions. Service was quick and organized, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Even though English wasn’t their first language, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and understood the menu. You can tell they care about their customers, locals and tourists alike. Their patience and kindness made a big difference for us. If you’re in Pisa and want a good breakfast spot that feels local, this is definitely the place. Nothing pretentious—just good food, great service, and nice people. We left smiling and would go back again without a doubt.

06/09/2025: Location: A well-designed property with well-distributed spaces and a refined design that make it truly welcoming. The outdoor pool area is also lovely. Reception: Always available, attentive, and proactive in advising and guiding guests throughout their stay. Special thanks to Rachele, whose smile and helpfulness ensured our vacation. Rooms: Our standard economy room was spacious and clean. The very comfortable bed provided ideal comfort. The bathroom was a bit narrow but well-designed and fully equipped. Food: We've never eaten so well on vacation. Full stop. Chef Donato Di Nunzio literally amazed us with his creative dishes, respectful of Abruzzo's culinary traditions. The breakfast buffet was always full of high-quality and delicious products. The cakes, thyme biscuits, jams, and hazelnut spread were excellent. Dinner was always a delightful experience, with the delicacy and flavor the Chef expertly created in his delicious gastronomic creations. The table service was impeccable, with special thanks to Martina, who was always prompt and attentive to our needs. Conclusion: You'll never realize you're a guest because the hospitality and passion conveyed by the Di Nunzio family will make you feel perfectly at home. Highly recommended.
