10/03/2025: During my stay at the Grand Hotel Royal E Golf, unfortunately, I encountered several problems that I feel I must share. Although the hotel has a great location, the overall experience was not satisfactory. I found the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas below expectations. The furnishings of the room were dated and the carpet, unfortunately, did not contribute to giving a sense of welcome. Furthermore, the ski room was poorly maintained, dark and with dirty and dusty seats. The staff, unfortunately, were not particularly helpful or professional. In particular, I had an unpleasant experience during breakfast: twice in a row, I was served dishes with obvious traces of residual food, and when I reported the incident, I received no apology or gesture of displeasure. The service was also slow and the availability of the staff was not up to par for a hotel of this category. I am sorry to have to leave this review, as I expected a much higher welcome and level of service. I hope the management takes these aspects into consideration to improve the quality of the experience for future guests.

22/04/2025: sicuramente un luogo accogliente con piatti che soddisfano il palato anche se avrei preferito trovare anche in alternativa piatti più semplici per chi magari capita lì con bambini la zuppa presa buonissima abbiamo spero parecchio ma siamo usciti soddisfatti

01/04/2025: Abbiamo mangiato bene, buona la cotoletta alla valdostana e i piatti di carne in generale. Dolci buoni. L'unica pecca è il prezzo, decisamente troppo alto, abbiamo speso 68 € a testa per 2 piatti (1 secondo e 1 dolce o 1 secondo e 1 antipasto) e 1 bottiglia di vino di fascia media. 11€ per un gelato con della cioccolata calda sopra a mio parere è folle, ma siamo a Courmayeur e allora vale tutto?!? non sono d'accordo ma così è....

10/05/2025: We stayed here last weekend, very friendly staff, clean and well-kept rooms. The hotel is located in the center, near the main street of the town. A pleasant discovery was the spa managed by Daniele Pellerino whose extreme professionalism I can confirm, I let myself be guided by him in the choice of massages: he proposed the Ayurvedic one!! I highly recommend

28/03/2025: Denna familjeägda krog är en fantastisk liten pärla som utöver sin restaurang har en färgstark bardel. Bara att kliva in där och ta del av modern konst som t ex Bob Marley, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen m fl. Hela lokalen är en fröjd för ögat. Varje liten detalj verkar vara noggrant placerad. Vi kikade dock bara in där straxt innan vi gick hem efter vårt restaurangbesök och baren var då stängd (men jag fick ta bilder/filma). Restaurangen spelade skön musik -70/80-talsmusik (Fleetwodd Mac m fl) på lagom ljudnivå att man kunde samtala utan att skrika. Jag beställde potatisgnocci med valnöts- och ädelostsås som var krämigt och gott. Lite knaperstekt salsiccia hade gett dock extra sting åt maträtten. Mitt bordssällskap beställde torsk som var mör och fin med en krämig sås. Fint garnerat och upplagt. Extra glada blev vi över det smakfulla brödet samt grissini som oväntat serverades innan vår huvudrätt. En god olivolja ställdes även fram. Till detta serverades vi lika oväntat en minifiskrätt som var väldigt smakfull. Jag drack bordsvatten, mitt sällskap tog ett gott vitt vin som rekommenderades av servitrisen. Mycket vänlig, varm atmosfär och trevlig personal. Här finns också en hotelldel med plats för straxt under femtio nattgäster. Jag är nyfiken på rummen som jag förväntar mig håller lika hög standard som restaurang och bar.

04/01/2025: We had a quick meal in this lovely chalet on the slopes of Mont Blanc. Fantastic location, basic menu but with excellent quality ingredients. The beers are also excellent. Someone in the comments objected that the prices are quite high... perhaps it's true, but more than justified if you consider the location, excellent service, courtesy and quality overall. Even if they do not contribute to the evaluation, the kindness of all the staff deserves a mention, which is always appreciated! ☺️

01/04/2025: Fantastic to just drop and check in no stress for parking and they love my chow chow no fuss! Their massage was 100% plus love it all that’s walking distance to the city. Their cheesy grill polenta was so yammmy

03/03/2025: Nice little bistro type place offering the local fare incl their own signature "veal on a hot flail" and polenta. Their signature is too impressive to recommend against but also not something we would order a second time. Extensive wine menu as well

25/02/2025: Cena di coppia ottima: personale molto gentile e disponibile, ampia scelta dei vini, costata a cottura lenta davvero deliziosa (tenera e saporita), dolcetto frittelle di mele e crema chantilly da provare!

20/03/2025: From brilliant scenery to staff, this is truly one of the best refuge in the whole of Tour du Mont Blanc. The refuge takes hygiene to another level, having zero bed bugs that are common in most of the other cabins I went to. Might be a bit expensive but the beautiful location just a few kilometers just of the town of Courmayeur. Highly recommend this place as it provides a lot of high quality rest especially if you just hiked from somewhere far. At that time, I just hiked from Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme, which was a mountain hut in a great location but had questionable accommodation (which is reasonable because it was literally on top of a mountain.) Still, great place to visit.

05/05/2025: I went to Shatush for a dinner with music. Initially I justified the high price of what was on the menu with the fact that we then had direct access to the disco after dinner. But for those prices I expected a much better quality of the dishes, certainly good, but not 5 star. I dropped it to 3 stars because there wasn't a fully functional bathroom in the nightclub: the men's bathroom was out of order and you were forced to use the disabled bathroom where you couldn't close the door... But is it possible? I wouldn't have gone to any fourth-rate place.

02/05/2025: A wonderful spring stay at Shatush Mont Blanc. Breathtaking view of Mont Blanc right from the room, cozy accommodations, attentive staff, and excellent cuisine. The Skyway cable car is just a short walk away — perfect for mountain walks or reaching the summit. An ideal place to relax in the Alps. I’ll definitely be back!

16/03/2025: We come across here a few times, sometimes for a casual drink, other times to watch sport. One night we had burgers which we were underwhelmed with given they were 14euro each. Needing the burger to taste fresher and for that price add fries or other. But drinks/service and complimentary small finger food negated the food.

27/02/2025: Busy but friendly and reasonably priced sports bar showing rugby, football and various italian sport. Good free appetisers.
