09/09/2025: A wonderful discovery. A creative place, both in terms of ambiance and cuisine. A few carefully selected and refined dishes. Small place, few people. LITTLE, but GOOD.

01/09/2025: My favorite restaurant in the entire Valdigne. The cuisine is creative yet solid, with Japanese influences (the chef is Japanese), and truly exceptional. From appetizers to dessert, the menu is short, but every dish is a treat. Even though I don't drink alcohol, I still come here: it's truly exceptional. My only complaint is that the portions are a bit small. According to my fellow diners, the wine list is superb. The atmosphere is refined yet relaxed, truly pleasant. Prices are reasonable for the quality; it's easy to spend over €50, but it's worth every penny. Plus, they're open outside of high season, which is rare in the area.

14/02/2026: A charming place in the heart of Courmayeur. The staff is very kind and courteous. The food is high-quality, with a wide selection of typical Aosta Valley dishes, all prepared impeccably.

16/02/2026: A mountain refuge located about 3 km from the center of Courmayeur. We reached this refuge on a hike on a snowy day. The very kind staff offered to pick us up with a shuttle. Lunch was excellent, especially the polenta concia and the cotoletta valdostana. We hope to return soon! Thanks, Annalisa

16/02/2026: A wonderful place. Before (or after), you can sunbathe on the lawn next to the restaurant, on the deckchairs provided free of charge. I had polenta taragna with fontina cheese and carbonade...it was so good. The desserts and house wine were also excellent. Those who don't book can also order takeaway polenta to eat outside.

28/02/2026: This place has very odd pizzas - super thin, which seems nice at the beginning but not after it cools down even slightly. However, the biggest downside was the literal total lack of toilet paper in the toilet. Yes, really.

26/02/2026: Everything was perfect, the place was great, I highly recommend it, the prices were right for Courmayeur, I would gladly go back.

19/02/2026: La Grolla is one of the best in Courmayeur ! The food, view, vibe and staff are all fantastic. We got married there in winter some years ago -going up the gondola at night and food/dancing until midnight - the best day of my life and we couldnt have had our winter wonderland wedding come true if La Grolla staff and owners didn't step up the way they did. Thank you La Grolla - can't wait to return!

01/02/2026: Lovely mountain restaurant. Very friendly staff, offering excellent food and drinks. Not your average burger, and very good vension fagu and pasta. Booking recommended on a sunny day, beautiful small 1st floor terrace.

14/10/2025: A room with a nice sink, showers, and a newly renovated toilet. The only downside was the supposedly gluten-free meal, which made the next day difficult.

12/10/2025: We had lunch here today, delicious penne with ragu, then two eggs and a raspberry tart with homemade cream, everything delicious, not to mention the view and the place, absolutely magical.

20/02/2026: Beautifully presented and delicious. Very nice setting. However, the service was far from satisfactory. They were pushy and pressured us to buy more: they insisted on a bottle of wine even though we had ordered three glasses, and then served us sparkling water without our order (which we refused). The waiters tapped my chair four times during our meal without apologizing. What a shame.

10/03/2026: We stopped at this magnificent restaurant for a relaxing lunch: we couldn't have made a better choice! The food was excellent, delicious, and unique. The waiters and staff were impeccable, polite, and always ready and attentive to our every need. A sincere thank you for everything! If we ever return, we won't miss the opportunity to return. Highly recommended!!

04/03/2026: I got the classic burger which is a better way to make a judgment IMO... asked for a medium and unfortunately got a well-done, okay-ish patty, buns were good. My friend got the wagyu with the toppings and said it was way too wet but good overall. Atmosphere wise it felt like a teenagers place. Overall an overrated, mid-tier burger joint. service was good though!

13/01/2026: The property is well-maintained; as soon as you enter, you immediately feel like you're in a mountain cabin. For a four-star hotel, the hotel surprised us; it was a pleasant vacation. The spa was also really nice, and Giada, the spa lady, was truly helpful, kind, and professional! I had a relaxing massage with her, and I can say it was perfect! The other spa lady was also very kind, but I didn't have the chance to try any of her services. It's a shame, however, that some things were amiss, such as the pool doors not working properly. During our five days there, no one showed up to fix the problem. We had a small dog, and unfortunately, we didn't find a dog bed or bowl in the room. I would pay more attention to the cleanliness of the toilet and, especially, the outdoor pool near our room; it was very dirty, with the tiles slimy and full of sand inside. I understand it's an outdoor pool, but we tried it on our first day, and if it had been cleaned before we told them, we would have noticed. Therefore, I don't recommend the room with the pool. Instead, I highly recommend the cabin and we will definitely return.

12/01/2026: We stayed for two nights in January in a room with a Mont Blanc view. The view from the room is stunning. The room is beautifully decorated, just like the rest of the hotel -you can really see how much attention has been paid to the details. The outdoor pool is amazing -swimming with a mountain view is a truly special experience. Although it is stated that the pool opens at 10 a.m., in reality, when we arrived, it only opened after lunch, which was a big disappointment in an otherwise wonderful hotel. The biggest disappointment, however, was the breakfast -probably the worst I can remember. The omelet was tasteless, the sausages were unpleasant, the bread and pastries were not fresh, the juices tasted artificial, and even the smoked salmon was of low quality. This really surprised both me and my husband. The only good items were the coffee and the donuts; everything else felt barely edible.

13/03/2026: The place was packed in a very uncomfortable way. We were seated in a corner right next to the storage entrance and squeezed up against another table. It was so tight that we had to move every time the people next to us wanted to get in or out. It was also extremely noisy. Our waiter was lovely, but another waiter who came occasionally to clear tables kept shouting and getting visibly annoyed. That behavior completely ruined the atmosphere. It’s a shame because the food is actually good, but the overall experience was very unpleasant. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the vibe was off. The hosts really need to do a serious check on how things are managed.

18/01/2026: Stopped here for lunch after the Christmas holidays, the only place open at 1:00 PM. We decided to have a focaccia! 2 focaccias, 1 glass of wine, 1 Coke Zero, 2 desserts (completely frozen), 2 coffees! €78! Either I'm out of town, or Courmayeur is practically the center of Milan!

17/01/2026: A true gem in the center of Courmayeur. We had a truly delicious focaccia with artisanal DOP mortadella di Bologna, and a delicious slice of Margherita pizza, simple but made just right. The atmosphere is very welcoming, warm, and informal, perfect for both a quick break and a relaxing moment. The staff is friendly, helpful, and above all, personable, which really makes the difference and makes you feel right at home. An authentic place, without frills but with great quality and atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

28/02/2026: Unexpected discovery! Very very worthy food, I liked ravioli and piglet. Also we had a fantastic artichoke, pasta al ragu and fillet. Wine list is huge like 54 pages with nice prices. Worth returning
