08/07/2025: Best pizza I’ve eaten, hands down. I say that as a lifelong passionate food lover. I also come from an affluent part of the UK where finding authentically produced pizza is as easy as finding your local supermarket. Here I went for the capricciosa, a favourite of mine from my most frequented pub/pizza house back home. I thought the ones back home were excellent… this took those flavours and textures to a whole new level!! Also nearly twice the size and considerably cheaper. I spent a good 45 minutes tearing and enjoying this pizza with two large beers. The lady who greeted and served me was extremely attentive and wonderful in her mannerisms. Top service, top food in an unsuspecting location (next to the bus station terminal). Plenty of outdoor seating , some in shade, some in the sun. Would definitely return if I’m passing through again! Annoyingly I forgot to pay (used to paying when ordering back in the UK) and only realised this 2-3 hours after my arrival back to my hotel! Fortunately the establishment is open late so I was able to run back down, apologise and pay up! Many thanks and apologies again for the late payment!!

21/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante sia per cena che per pranzo. Ottimi gli affettati e squisito il lardo. Tagliatelle alla selvaggina molto buone. Polenta con blu d’Aosta e con salsiccia in umido buona. Carta dei vini vasta e di alto livello. Servizio giovane che ancora deve crescere (motivo del non 5). Prezzi in linea con la zona. Locale consigliato

02/05/2025: Ottima cena nel cuore della Val Ferret. Ampia scelta e tutto di gran qualità. Servizio ottimo e attento. Ci siamo stati più volte provando piatti diversi e davvero tutto eccellente (forse solo la polenta valdostana non riprenderei, pur buona ma la preferisco di diversa consistenza) con alcuni piatti davvero top fra cui il risotto! Salumi e formaggi buonissimi per iniziare e ampia scelta per proseguire con sempre novità fuori menù. E pranzare o cenare con montagne di neve fresca a vista o con il sole estivo della Val Ferret è impagabile

01/08/2025: A hidden gastronomic gem just steps from Courmayeur In a small hamlet outside Courmayeur lies a truly special restaurant, led by a Japanese chef who masterfully blends local tradition with Eastern sophistication. Here, every dish is a discovery and a journey of flavors. We began with a combination of fresh, vibrant ingredients from the local garden, prepared to bring out every nuance. The venison fillet, cooked to perfection, was accompanied by crisp, flavorful sautéed local vegetables. The Japanese-style ravioli confirmed the chef's elegance and precision, both in technique and presentation. The highlight came with the desserts, two truly memorable creations. The first was a velvety panna cotta base, served with amarena cherries on the side and delicate cubes of mirin jelly: a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity, and aroma. The second course, however, featured gelato with a unique texture and flavor—reminiscent of fior di latte, but with a more sophisticated twist—topped with a soft "leaf" made with coconut cream: a work of art. Each course confirmed a level of quality that rivals that of a Michelin-starred restaurant, all at a more than reasonable price. The wine list is carefully curated and expertly recommended, featuring excellent local labels. The menu changes frequently, which is yet another reason to return... except that we're unfortunately far from Courmayeur. If you're lucky enough to be in the area, don't miss out on this experience. 04/07/2025: But how much do we like to go back to Daniele to eat pizza?? Too much!!! Always welcoming and kind, you feel like one of the family! And the pizza? ..uff even if I'm 1.50 meters, it's so good that I can eat a giant one!!!!! Highly recommended!! Go there, it's a nugget!!

22/06/2025: One night I had pizza and the next I ordered tagliatelle with mushrooms and lamb chops. I've always eaten well but the tagliatelle are a must. The desserts are also good, both the tiramisu and the house cake. Very kind staff. Thanks, we'll be back

03/08/2025: The food was okay, good quality. The problem was the rudeness of one staff member in particular. We walked in and he shouted "TWO?" twice without even looking at us, much less a "Good evening." After showing us our table, he threw the menus along with his tablet and left... Same guy, when I met him in the entrance hallway, he stood in front of me with the plates in his hand and waited for me to move aside so he could let me pass, without even saying thank you (I should point out that, in addition to being a customer, I'm also visibly pregnant.) Last but not least, I met him in the bathroom and he came out without washing his hands. The thing that worries me most is that I think he's the manager because he was wearing a polo shirt, while the other, more friendly, waiters were wearing different outfits. P.S.: From the bathroom, you could clearly hear the kitchen staff insulting each other. Well, first and last time.

30/07/2025: Pizza not great. The owner was really unfriendly. Otherwise, the service was good.

06/08/2025: A good selection of beers (draught and bottles) with a wide selection of craft beers. The place is welcoming and clean, and the staff is quick and helpful. The menu features many burgers and sandwiches, featuring local products and interesting pairings. The value for money is very good, considering the location. I was there in June 2025.

03/08/2025: I stopped here for a burger with my family. I had a sporting event with my son. The staff was friendly and the food was good. I gave it 4 stars because, honestly, I've never paid more for a macchiato than for a "regular" coffee! This isn't just a criticism, but constructive criticism... sometimes you get lost in the details... Otherwise, everything was fine! Prices were "fairly" normal. Would I come back? Yes, I definitely think so!

15/08/2025: We tried their 'potence medievale', which was good and scenic, but the quality/price ratio was a bit too high. I expected something better. The service was average.

14/08/2025: We ate meat... it was delicious and the waiters were very kind and friendly. I recommend it.

14/08/2025: Not very good. Polenta not well made and mushrooms too salty and frozen.

11/08/2025: Highly recommended restaurant within the camping area. In high season it is worth booking a table because it is a very popular place. Definitely try the Capitan Des Alpes version of potatoes. Also the different types of polenta are very tasty and large portions, but the pizzas are also very tasty.

17/03/2025: Ogni volta che vengo a Courmayeur, mi faccio ammaliare dalla bellezza della vetrina del Pastificio Gabriella, di solito la pizza rossa è la scelta, ma questa volta io e i miei amici ci siamo fatti conquistare dalla bontà che ispiravano i dolci esposti, torta di mele eccezionale, mela pura, frittelle di mele ancora calde e che si sciolgono i bocca, come il semolino dolce fritto che sembrava quasi crema pasticciera, che dire clamoroso. Solitamente non è cosi, ma questa volta la signora al banco sembrava quasi scocciata
