15/08/2025: I never write negative reviews, but in this case, unfortunately, it was inevitable. My experience was negative even before I sat down. The inappropriate shouting from the front-of-house staff, with their rudeness and disrespect toward those who showed up for a simple coffee, embarrassed everyone in the place. We had asked to sit at a table on the lawn; a waitress reacted in an unfriendly tone, despite a colleague having just told us there would be no problem. The brusque manner in which customers are treated and the lack of attention to hospitality do not leave a good impression. I hope the owners can invest in staff training, because the place has potential, but the hospitality experience is crucial.

08/02/2026: We loved our stay at Hotel Courmayeur! The staff were incredible and so welcoming! The breakfast each morning was made even better with the amazing coffee! Also it is in such a good location! Definitely recommend staying here!

07/02/2026: Not equipped for electric cars. A shame, because we're in the 21st century.

23/02/2026: Second time in Courmayeur and second time at Le Vieux Pommier, it's best not to be greeted by the manager. She's really unpleasant. It's a real shame because the setting is lovely (apart from the very uncomfortable wooden chairs), the decor is nice, and the servers are friendly, which makes up for it. We'll probably go back because the children love this place...

22/02/2026: One star because less is impossible: I've never felt so uncomfortable during a business lunch. We brought clients to eat here and were treated condescendingly and rudely by the waiter (thin, dark-haired), who responded rudely to every normal request (for a glass of wine, for example), even rudely interrupting us at the end of the meal (when we were joking among ourselves about who paid the bill), snapping at us with a "If I tell you it's paid, it's paid, so don't joke about it!" 😕. We were all left in an awkward silence. Truly unspeakable treatment, no one from the company will ever return. I didn't ask to speak to a manager at the time just out of politeness since we were in the presence of clients.

04/01/2026: Tragic service. Was not seated upon entrance. We were asked to move tables by the waitress and had to move our own cutlery, glasses, and placemats as she watched. Surreal… Carbonara was double salted and inedible, but was served out anyway. Margherita and bolognese were ok. Final nail in the coffin, the staff picked up plates before we were done, including a coaster from under my cup.

30/12/2025: Terrible staff, rude and unwelcoming. Decent pizza. Very nice place.

19/02/2026: I stayed here on January 17, 2026, and had a horrible incident. First, when I approached the entrance to check in, I noticed some fires were lit, so I stopped to warm up. After a few seconds, I was verbally attacked—and physically attacked if I hadn't moved away—by a staff member because apparently "outsiders aren't allowed near us." When I showed them my reservation, their attitude changed drastically, but the incident nevertheless highlights the unacceptable rudeness of the staff. The room was in terrible condition, full of dust, and the sheets were dirty. For the exorbitant price, I would have expected to be treated with more respect and to have a room that didn't remind me of a hospice. But apparently, I expect too much. I strongly advise against even considering staying here.

06/03/2026: A modern bar with outdoor seating. We had two Aperol Spritzes and a bowl of chips for €24. An exaggeration! Now back from Cortina d'Ampezzo, where on the main pedestrian street, among shops like Valentino, Missoni, and more, two Aperol Spritzes with chips cost €10 in total. There's no comparison... We don't understand such high prices.

03/03/2026: We went for a drink and lunch, waiter served us and everything was ok until bartender went out screaming how we cant smoke a cigar, but cigaretes are allowed. Very rude person, ruined the afternoon with his approach. Avoid this place if you are looking to chill and grab a drink outside. P.S girls were very polite but this person should work on his hospitality skills
