15/02/2025: Siamo andati due volte in questo locale molto caratteristico e gestito da due signore gentilissime. Mio marito ha preso la merenda valdostana e io la zuppa del giorno, e una bottiglia di vino. Tutto buonissimo

11/01/2025: Un aperitivo al sole della val ferret. Dehor con arredi alla buona, tavolo tovaglietta e sedie in plastica. Personale gentile ma non attentissimo. Il menù siamo andati a prenderlo da soli perché dopo più di una decina di minuti da quando ci siamo seduti nessuno era ancora venuto al tavolo. Tagliere “merenda”: buoni i prodotti, tutti tipici; contenute la quantità se lo si vuole condividere (13 euro). Buono lo spritz Hugo; buono e particolare il succo di mela caldo. Vale la sosta.

15/02/2025: Cura dei dettagli del locale, gentilezza dello staff, cortesia, piatti ottimi e anch’essi molto curati. Prodotti di prima qualità e per finire una ricca carta dei vini! Consigliato vivamente

31/01/2025: Ristorante curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, dalla location molto caratteristica, al personale vestito con abiti tradizionali. Il cibo ottimo e con piatti anche particolari. Il personale ci ha fatto sentire davvero coccolati, ci hanno dato la possibilità di cenare, nonostante la nostra prenotazione fosse andata persa e inoltre ci hanno offerto uno spumante mentre aspettavamo il tavolo e dei biscotti fatti in casa alla fine della cena. Ci tornerei sicuramente.

16/03/2025: Honestly, what a disappointment! The food was really mediocre, even disgusting. The dishes had no taste, it was poorly prepared and poorly presented. It seemed like they forgot to follow the basics of cooking. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

15/03/2025: Immonde rien n’est bon, que ce soit les spécialités ou même un burger ils ne savent pas faire. Heureusement qu’il y’avait les gressins industriels… À fuir !!!

09/02/2025: Excellent pasta. Overly familiar staff. Delicious tiramisu Good that it’s open all day to evening. Convenient location. Staff member made me feel unnecessarily uncomfortable.

14/01/2025: Locale caratteristico a Courmayeur, personale gentilissimo che, nonostante fossimo senza prenotazione, hanno trovato il modo di farci accomodare. Ottima la pizza cucinata con il forno a legna, ingredienti di qualità e leggera. Non semplice da trovare in una località turistica. Consigliato!

20/08/2024: We returned from a tour of a refuge, and stopped for a snack. Very nice environment, mountain view around. Almost empty place, we waited and a young and friendly waiter arrived, we ordered 2 slices of cake and two cans of Sprite. 22 euros..... The cake was good 🤤 maybe a little expensive.... Considering that the refuge is not lost in the middle of the mountains but reached by public transport or if you prefer on foot. Owner, perhaps tired, a little sulky.

20/08/2024: Excellent base for those who go to Val Veny and especially for those who go to see the Miage with its beautiful lakes for those who love the mountains. The menu is good with Aosta Valley food and sandwiches. Nice view. Recommended for those arriving and/or leaving between lunch and intending to refresh themselves/eat. Check and book upon arrival. The prices are not exaggerated, they are acceptable given the place. Happy mountain.

28/02/2025: Despite almost being put off from a few reviews, we had a brilliant meal. It was delicious- I’m celiac and they were very accomodating and understanding for gluten free. Definitely recommend making sure to speak to the staff in advance and explain any dietaries. Obviously limited options but as expected.

28/02/2025: Great meal out - 6 of us including 1 celiac - the waiters were fantastic and the food was utterly delicious! Fast service with a smile, and the range of food was superb.

28/03/2025: Update. I went back this week for the second time and I was disappointed. Starter with poor quality cured meats, soggy and unheated bread to accompany the ardo. Tasteless cutlet, the fontina didn't look like fontina. Sin. Small restaurant, in name and in fact. Small, welcoming, good typical cuisine. I appreciated the Valle d'Aosta cutlet, which was particularly good. Service a little slow, house wine from Veneto, shame.

11/02/2025: Il locale presenta un'atmosfera storica e molto autentica, è curato e ben arredato. I dolci sono molto buoni e di origine casalinga; il servizio è invece da rivedere. Nonostante la gentilezza del personale alla casa, il personale al bancone non ha la stessa cura e attenzione. Sicuramente il servizio offerto non è in linea con il locale.

18/01/2025: As other reviewers have said, prices not displayed anywhere, probably out of shame. 5eur for a small hot chocolate. Half souvenir shop, half bar/cafe…in hindsight, our mistake in not spotting it.

16/03/2025: My friends and I decided to have lunch at this bar. Nobody welcomed us and, after sitting alone, we had to wait 20 minutes to get the menu. We asked a waitress if we could light the mushrooms because we were cold, but we were told that we couldn't and we asked for blankets. Then when it started to hail we were not asked to move inside, we had to take our glasses and look for a table inside as the waitress - still the same one from the mushrooms - ignored us. Once inside we ordered an apple cake, asking if it had been homemade, but unfortunately we received a dry cake that was anything but fresh.

11/03/2025: Very nice terrace, service a little overwhelmed, but best location for a drink in the city.
