02/09/2023: Ottima polenta con fontina. Piatti abbondanti a prezzi corretti nonostante la zona. Locale molto semplice ... tipico posto di trattoria. Personale gentile e servizio efficente.

25/08/2023: I rarely leave reviews, but in this case I feel like doing so. I'll start with the positive notes which are certainly the location (you are at the foot of Mont Blanc) with a magnificent surrounding environment and the uniquely kind service of the girl who welcomed and served us. Let's move on to the sore points: food that is almost all frozen (it's written on the menu, I'm not the one saying it) or pre-packaged like the green salad. Overall mediocre, but the thing that doesn't add up is the price of everything sausage for two it must have been 3 small pieces each €32 😕 the green salad (really just salad and nothing more) €7, a side dish of peperonata €10 not very tasty and nothing more. To finish, an espresso coffee for €2 each: are we in Italy or abroad? In France a decent espresso costs €2.10 and you are in France. It's fine to be in Courmayeur, but either give good fresh and freshly cooked food or it's fine frozen, but at a lower price. I'm sorry to leave this review, but it is right to leave an opinion, even if subjective, that can help other possible customers.

27/08/2023: Complessivamente do un giudizio molto positivo a prezzi competitivi, soprattutto per i taglieri abbondanti e di qualità di affettati e formaggi (€ 16,50 ciascuno). Nessun coperto addebitato! Lo consiglio post escursione in Val Veny.

E' tra i tanti locali che chiudono presto uno dei pochi aperto fino a tardi. Tappa obbligata a Courmayeur dalla colazione al dopocena.

08/03/2024: Warm and welcoming environment. We were served directly by the owner who proved to be friendly, competent and with character. The dishes were all really excellent, typical cuisine that also winks at the modern twist, accompanied by local wine. Really satisfied. If we return to Courmayeur we will definitely do an encore! Highly recommended!!!

31/12/2023: Cet établissement familial offre un accueil chaleureux et des plats savoureux. Depuis des années, chaque balade au Val Ferret est l'occasion de s'y arrêter pour déguster une bonne Polenta alla Valdostana avec un Ragu di Cervo, absolument délicieux! Et les desserts avec la petite crème maison sont une petite merveille. On y est allés hier encore et malgré la très forte affluence, nous avons pu y trouver une table et être servis rapidement et avec le sourire. A refaire encore tout un tas de fois!

30/10/2023: Ristorante semplice, ma eccezionale. Esattamente ciò che ci si aspetterebbe da uno chalet di montagna senza pretese. Il fatto che peschi nel bacino di Courmayeur, che è il regno del superfluo senza valore, lo rende ancora più eccezionale. Cucina di montagna, polente e umidi eccezionali, calore casalingo, servizio informale, ma veloce e molto gentile, altra sorpresa di questa regione che fa a gara con la Liguria in un campionato tutto loro. Persino il prezzo è onesto, niente a che vedere con altre realtà della Val Ferret. Non mancate di prendere un dolce con la panna. Super consigliato, prenotate e andrete sul sicuro.

14/01/2024: Dopo una splendida cena a Plan Gorret decidiamo di finire la serata in questo locale con la ( vana) speranza di degustare un buon cocktail. Ordino alla cassa un paio di cocktails signature che sono in lista e gia’ li’ si fa fatica perché il cassiere non trova la corrispondenza , alla fine ci riesce e con il mio scontrino mi dirigo al bancone. Il bartender mi dice che non ha gli ingredienti per fare i due cocktail che sono in menù e che ho pagato. Vedo che è molto indaffarato e dunque non discuto e in versione zen opto per un Margarita e un Mint Julep. Il primo lo fa, il secondo storce il naso ( cocktail sempre presi dalla lista) .. Dopo un paio di scene patetiche alla simil “ Vanzan“ dove si spreca un sacco di prodotto , ricevo quanto ordinato e …..fatti primi due sorsi , decidiamo di lasciare i cocktail sul bancone e ce ne andiamo. Ora.:. capisco che il locale è frequentato da giovani turisti stranieri che poco si intendono di mixology e non gliene frega nulla perché il focus è socializzare , vedere gente, ma….perché presentarsi con delle foto ingannevoli di bartender esperti e di cocktails fatti a regola d’arte quando… neanche sapete fare quelli del vostro menu’? Ci vuole professionalità ragazzi! E’ palese che ai gestori non interessa investire sulla qualità, ma c’è da dire che la loro idea di impresa funziona perché il locale è comunque molto gettonato.

24/03/2024: I rather appreciated a restaurant with furnishings that combine tradition with a more modern atmosphere, lots of cow bells hanging and visible on the walls on one side, and lounge-style furnishings of the tables and rooms on the other. I found the staff efficient but not among the warmest, almost annoyed in certain situations, which is certainly not pleasant. As for the food, I had the raclette and it was more than satisfying, with potatoes and cured meats. The gnocchi with fontina that I tasted were overall very delicate, perhaps too delicate. Overall positive experience but I suggest paying more attention to friendliness towards customers (but it could be that it was simply a special evening).

03/03/2024: Nice location, shame about the service. Unprepared waiters, the wine arrived before the water (wrong two/three times) and the bread. Food nothing exceptional, not worth the asking prices. Not recommended.

24/02/2024: Abbiamo pranzato quasi tutti i giorni durante la settimana bianca, cibi ottimi, sevizio veloce ed impeccabile nonostante il periodo caotico di capodanno. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

22/02/2024: Locale tipico da stazione sciistica, molta gente, affollato. Ma sono stati veloci nel servire i piatti che erano abbondanti e buoni. Hanno anche la possibilità di prendere solo panini e toast più velocemente.

18/02/2024: Il super G è esattamente ciò che uno non sa di volere finché non ce l’ha. Al bar c’è un’insegna luminosa che dice (in inglese) la felicità vive qui. Ed è vero. Al super G è sempre festa: la festa della gioia di vivere. Si mangia veramente bene, la musica dal vivo è così coinvolgente che persino sventolare i tovaglioli bianchi sulle note di volare diventa un gesto liberatorio. Il paesaggio è stupendo e viene naturale sorridere a tutti. È così che piano piano la consapevolezza della propria fortuna si fa strada, sciogliendo i legacci dei soliti pensieri. Come se non bastasse c’è un kids club in cui far giocare i bambini mentre si pranza. Non è forse questa la felicità?
